  1. Hello. I hope this is the right topic for this question. The old 2L driving ring may slide around a 2L axle connector with ridges so that it mantains its position once shifted. The 3L driving ring can also be used around a specially designed ridged 3L axle connector that works even better, as it has only three detents (center, and either extreme) and they are more pronounced that those in the old 2L driving ring. Is there any part that works with the new 2L driving ring (2473) so that it can stay "locked" in its different positions? Or are we limited to using it with rotary changeover catches? I don't own the part yet and would like to know if it could work in "old style" gearboxes. Many thanks!
  2. After opening it, my antivirus software (Avast free version) popped up with a warning on "Phising", so I guess we know the answer even more clearly already :)
  3. To me it looks ridiculously good in Nissan livery!
  4. Well, there is this simple idea by Sariel, but I guess it is not at all good enough. http://sariel.pl/2009/01/linear-clutch/
  5. The boat is made by Mahjqa. No, I don't know your Youtube channel, I will check it out.
  6. It works nicely indeed, nice moc, I've also seen some with old Bionicle "tubes" (the "boxes" they came in) and a more complex aproach, but if you want good performance while keeping it simple this huge part works well.
  7. I like this modification, but there is something missing I just can't stop focusing in - the rear-angled "delta" front wing!
  8. Yeah. A conveniently hidden M motor linked by a worm gear driven shaft (to make it slow) would make for a good moving sculpture.

  10. Don't worry, I was just making fun of the stereotypes, no hate to any competition.
  11. Yeah but I meant proper racing not NASCAR... Just kidding, nice find.
  12. Yeah, I meant for traction in dirt, which is the typical place where a Moon or Mars rover would be
  13. Yeah, that's it, but it will maybe be way too expensive, probably if you already have some and put one every two half bushes instead of in everyone it can be affordable. Kinda like the small paddles in the wheel of the not as famous as it should be Lunokhod.
  14. Nice, totally looks like a micro mars/moon rover chassis. I think it will do relatively well on dirt with tons of this in the wheels for traction https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=11478#T=C
  15. I think a racing team is the right kind of promotion to draw more revenue for LEGO, specially prototypes. Spock, don't want to continue with the OT so I sent you a PM.
  16. I would think 26 figures does not fit in the personal space of a Soyuz, but I can't confirm it to you...
  17. I'm pretty sure Roscosmos isn't using precious cargo space without a paycheck that makes up for it, especially after the failure of recent resupply vehicles they would probably prefer to put other goods.
  18. I think it most sport prototype series you can have two cars with very different liveries, it would be cool if they sponsored one of the cars from a top LM24H team to be the only (or at least main) sponsor in it. The recently sent some minifigs in Soyuz TMA 18-M with the flight of a Danish astronaut, so they should have money for this kind of activities too.
  19. But if you abuse that method they'll quickly stop looking like that!
  20. Saw this in the entry topic and came to say something: if it's a dragster, can it only race/ fly for 5 seconds before it runs out of fuel and needs an engine change or rebuild? More seriously now, I like your transformation, simple and effective
  21. Wow 8 years late! I wonder if the mods agree with starting using this topic again or if it's too late...
  22. I like everything else, but I think the railgun looks out of place. I'm not sure if rules allow this, but if you've got time and want to you could build a small plane that is "launched on rails" (like in some aircraft carriers) or car that exits from the side ramp.
  23. It's a very good entry nonetheless, unless the other people really surprise me you have my vote!
