  1. yeah yeah. sadly I only like a few CW sets. Most of them I dont. I already have the gunship and AT-TE. the only set I want is the Dropship and AT-OT. So for now its Toy Story. Actually it is my fiancee who wanted the TS3 train.
  2. They are really demonized. People get all fearful over firearms and to "prevent" criminals from owning them, they make it ridiculously difficult for regular people to get them. However criminals get their hands on firearms all the time. NY has stupid laws. I already owned the Kriss and the glock when I was living in Pennsylvania. However NY law states that i must obtain a permit to OWN a hand gun. Even if I have a firearm I cant bring it in until I get the license. Easier said than done. The license/permit requires character references but they are excruciatingly precise. The references must live in the same county as I do. Since I moved here, I dont know anyone that lives in my county. I know people who live in NYC and tehy could vouch for me, but those references are no good. It is difficult and a PIA to satisfy the handgun permit application. They are more concerned about people concealing handguns and make it difficult for you to get one. Getting a concealed weapon permit is even harder. However I have one from Pennsylvania but it is not recognized by the great state of NY. People in the US, who live in areas that allow it, grow up with the freedom to buy what they want and enjoy them. Firearms are dangerous but not so much more than cars. However irresponsible people get behind the wheel every day. The Firearm is a mere tool. Albeit, it requires great responsibility but it is only a tool. I enjoy target shooting and training to use my tool. That is it. It is annoying when a govt tells you you cant enjoy something you own without being hassled by red tape.
  3. Thanks. But it is not TAD. I have a TAD Fast Pack but the jacket is by Condor. I just rock the TAD patch. The Condor Jacket is a great substitute for the TAD. Much cheaper, at only $80 it performs the same as TAD. Just not fancy like TAD.
  4. This was in a New Jersey toys R Us. Near Paramus.
  5. Oh sorry, it is in the Video game dept of Toys R Us. where all the other Nintendo DS accessories are. There are generic lego game cases. Similar to the one in the harry potter set but they are primary yellow, red and blue I think
  6. Saw this at TRU. Video game section. edit: added location.
  7. So I went to Toy R Us and saw this. AWESOME.
  8. I went to another Target and they have a small helicopter and fireman.
  9. I saw someone's post about Tiny Tactical's panzershrek (probably mispelled that). So I was intrigued as I had not heard of Tiny Tactical. Lo and behold Tiny Tactical makes a Lego Kriss Super V. I know of Brick Arms and they make a great selection of lego weapons. However a KRISS SUPER V!!!! For those who are not into firearms, the Kriss Super V is the number one CQB (close quarters battle) rifle. I know cause I have one. Here is my Kriss Super V. And here is the Lego version. Tiny Tactical makes tiny tactical accessories for the Kriss Super V. They also work for some of Brick Arms weapons. Here my first Kriss has the optional stock in the folded position. The Eotech Holosight, Surefire M900 vertical grip light, and silencer are all added components. They require glue to be affixed to the weapon system. Here is my second Kriss Super V. Since the folding stock is a separate accessory, I wanted one in the open position. Tiny Tactical doesnt show this option on their Bricklink store but I tried it and it works. The attention to detail is amazing on this lego Kriss. If you look right above the thin barrel, there is a round little protrusion. That is the Surefire E1B light that you can buy and mount into the gun. Look at the picture of my Kriss. Mine sticks out a little bit far cause I have a 1xcell extender to make my light brighter. I also chopped a spare Tiny Tactical MP5 Magazine to give my second Kriss Super V an extended mag. The real Kriss Super V uses Glock 21 magazines. Magpul Dyanamics helped design and make a 17 round extension so the extended magazine can hold 30 rounds of .45acp bullets. Next is the Tiny Tactical Glock. Steve calls it the Glock 18. Actually it cant be a glock 18 as the glock 18 is a fully automatic glock and should have a selector switch on the left side of the slide. There is no such selector switch. So I shall pretend it is a Glock 21. I used to have a Glock 21, since it shares the same magazines as my Kriss, but since I moved to NY I can't own a handgun. I guess a lego one will do for now I forgot to put the Tiny tactical watch on. Here it is. Be careful it is extremely fragile. I already broke the wrist strap. Here is the Tiny tactical SBR M4 (SBR is a real term and stand for Short Barrel Rifle) however the nomencalture has been misused in this case. However it is open to accessorizing. I have added a Magpul (it is the tiny little thing at the bottom of the magazine), a ANPEQ laser sight, a Trijicon ACOG scope/red dot sight, and Surefire Weaponlight. My Green Army man is sporting the dark tan tactical vest and black watch. You can see the wrist strap is broken. Here is the Tiny Tactical Vest in black. (I need a black brickforge helmet now) Tiny Tactical accessories come sealed in a small poly bag and each poly pouch has a paper target. I quickly built this simple indoor range to show off the paper target. Below is a toy my friend and I produced. It is an upgrade for a Transformer Toy. During the designing process I had the fantastic idea to have the little guy hold lego weapons. Well here is the fruit of our labors.
  10. Has this been seen before? As I have only started getting into Lego SW in the past few months, I am not abreast with some of the auxiliary merchandise that exist in the past. I was at TRU picking up the Toy Story 3 train set for 20% off. I was walking in the lego section and saw this pen on the rack. It has a Gold Chrome C3PO!!!! Hurray!!!! Then I got home and opened it. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the china made lego figures. This is my first hands on experience. As I dont have a Gold Chrome C3PO this is a great stand in. The pen was only $4.99 and you get two minifigs. Gold Chrome C3PO and a Chrome Jango Fett. I have tried swapping poseable feet but they are not swappable. The head is swappable as well as the feet and hands. Also the head is not on a post but rather a lego peg. As you can see, the head has a peg on it. I forgot to take a picture but Pen C3PO's back does not have any printing. Only the front of the torso has the C3PO printing. Here is my hand at Smokebelch style photography.
  11. Actually it depends. At $2.99 each you figure three for $9. That is three figures and three crappy jeeps. Or you can spend $10-$11, depending where you buy it, and get 4 green army men, bunch of accessories, and a decent jeep. I figure its easier to just buy multiples of the 4 pack. You get less jeeps than 3-4 sets of the mini sets. but it makes up for it by having extra accessories.
  12. Yeah I got the lego Target Dog.
  13. Ok so I was a bit hasty in saying that Toy Story jeep was not around. I just found it this evening. DPCI is 204-00-0251 review is here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48458&pid=853282&st=0entry853282
  14. So I finally found the Mini Jeep at Target. For those looking for it, the DCPI number is 204-00-0251. Walk up to the price scanners in Target and enter those numbers (no hyphens) and hit enter. The display will tell you if that Target has any out in the aisle, which aisle, or if there are any in the back stock room. The lego mini sets are set in the Seasonal section. Look for the aisles of Christmas candy. There should be shelves with mini stocking stuffer toys. That is where I found this. Oddly this set was only $2.99. It has 37 pcs but the 30 pcs Police boat is $3.99 Here are pictures. I threw in my Green Army Men on Patrol Jeep to compare.
  15. Has anyone found the toy story set? Im suspect that we havent seen real pictures. Also when and if you find it, scan it at the price checker and write down the dpci number. that way we can punch it in and check our local target stock.
  16. Makes sense. It is great work. Lighting and set design is fantastic.
  17. Any ideas as to who made this? It is really good work.
  18. I found the old Alantis Squid/octopus set. It rings up as SW set. I saw the display target dog rack. But no gift cards. gonna have to go to another Target.
  19. Kmart does not honor online sale prices. But they are all sold out online.
  20. Hey prozac, can you scan the speed boat set, next time you are in target. I want the DPCI number. it should be something like this xxx-xx-xxxx Thanks. I have only found the Xwings and police boat. I want the speed boat helmet. Any ideas on the DPCI for the lego gift card?
  21. No. $2.99. I think they are actually $3.29 but on sale for $2.99 each.
  22. Barnes and Noble has a buy 2 get one free sale on all toys and puzzles.
  23. I forgot about this thread. 30051 Mini X-wings are in Target USA. They are in the Xmas stocking stuffer section. Similar to the Minifigs Series 2 for halloween.
