Toys R Us, here in NY, has a new deal this week. Spend $75 and get the $24.99 USB Drive minifig free. I bought 26 Series 3 figs, thinking they were $2.99 each like on TRU website. But instead they were $3.99. Oh well here are pics of the USB drive.

Ok good news and bad news. After finding out about the Series 3 at TRU, I went to my nearest TRU. There was a HUGElineat customer service, I couldnt find the figures. The manager, Lisa, walked down the line and asked what we wanted. I asked her I was looking to see if they had any in stock. I tried to keep it vague and not sound like a fan boy. I asked her I was looking for "these lego figures that come sealed in their own little packaging" Her reply was "Oh we got those in earlier this week. There are three guys that go around snatching them up. They bought all the cases" Crap. So i asked her if she could check another store. She did but when I went to that store, which have 200 instock, they couldnt find them. Luckily Lisa the manager was nice to tell me that she was expecting two more boxes that night and would put them out today. Sure enough I was there at 7 am. Two brand new boxes. I grabbed them and hid one of them hehe. TRU has a deal: Spend $75 and you get a free 2gb Minifig USB Drive. So i grabbed 26 minifigs. Unfortunately they rang up as $3.99. OUCH!!! Oh well. I got home and had some difficulty seeing some of the bumps. Some show up clear as day, some dont. But out of those random 26 I got everything except the Baseball Player and racecar driver. Now to return the ones i didnt open. Not bad huh? I dont know if it is worth tracking down the race car driver. I dont care for the baseball player. I liked the barcode system. that was clear and easy to recognize once you remembered which ones you want.

You could try Amazon.com. My fiancee ordered a xmas gift for her boss, but to get free shipping she had to spend more. So we looked up lego sets. We got the Toy Story army guys set and we found someone selling single Starwars minifigs. We picked up a Slave Leia (in pink flesh) for like 3 dollars.

Im looking to buy tracks for my TS3 train. Is 7896 enough? It lists 8 straight and 8 curved pieces. However 7938 is just a circle and it has 16 curved pieces. So does that mean I need 2x sets of 7896 just to make a complete loop? Should I just buy 8867 flexible track? Is that enough to make a loop? Thanks

Ok ever since I got my hands on the Spartan, I noticed he looks like King Leonidas. Then I was thinking I could use a minifig from the Prince of Persia sets to recreate the "THIS IS SPARTA!!!" scene. So I thought it would be funny to use Dustan, the adopted Prince of Persia. Who else would they send to meet the King of Spartan to ask for his surrender? hehe enjoy these two very simple images.

Wow so maybe we were lucky? My fiancee wanted the winter sets. Bakery and Toy shop. But $120 is a bit much for her taste. So we drove 7 hours back from Pittsburgh (where we went for Thanksgiving) just to go to the Lego Store near our apartment. We got them for 20% off.

So my fiancee bought the Toy Story 3 Train Set. It was missing a black train wheel and more importantly Hamm's Dr. Evil Porckchop bowler hat. I decided to try using S&H to get the missing pieces. They dont have the hat. Plus it costs $16!!!! So Im gonna have to return the train for a new one at TRU.

Where can I get a gun like that?

The helmet is actually very tight. The peg of boba's head is a smidge too wide for the helmet. So the helmet fits so tight that if you pull the hemlet off, it just pulls boba's head off the neck post. I have to use the pen's metal rod to push the head out. In regards to the pen. It has a short reservoir. You twist the blue cone at the tip and the pen retracts or comes out.

I got those too. I think they are supposed to be for powered train parts. But I have no idea what they are for. My set is missing one car wheel and Dr. Evil Porkchop's evil hat. need to call Lego support.

They are. wait are you talking about the real Kriss or the Tiny Tactical? haha both are pretty pricey. However I like them so I think it is worth it for me. The real Kriss Super V is only $1850. Whereas the Tiny Tactical Kriss is about $5. equally pricey for what they are. But as I am an owner and fan of the Kriss Super V, I want to collect any toy carnation of the Kriss. I have a GI joe version and now a lego version. There is a 1:6 scale version out there that I need to get my hands on.
