  1. Saw this at Walmart here in New Jersey. Im not sure how the lights are activated but if I bang the box around, it turns on. Here is what is says on the bottom of the box.
  2. Oh this battle station is quite fully operational. My WIP to skin the DS playset.
  3. I believe the head is from the Studio Director mini fig.
  4. Thanks. That helps so much more.
  5. Sorry I haven't read this whole thread but the barcodes here in NJ/NY are flipped. The small barcodes are on the right and the main UPC is on the left. To make matters worse, the barcodes are different from the original scans on the first page.
  6. I would like to se Disney classics. Not entire lines dedicated to Disney series but perhaps special disney exclusive sets. Beauty and the Beast (rose under glass and a small dance floor) Snow White and Seven dwarves w/ witch and apple, in Dwarves hutt. Aladdin Mulan StarTours shuttle etc you get the idea. Also why havent we seen the obvious? Simpsons. They are yellow, perfect for classic Minifig coloring.
  7. I realised something yesterday. I got the Battle of Endor set cause my Fiancee wanted the ewoks. After looking at the older style ones, boy what a difference. Then it donned on me that TLG created a brand new mold and utilized a new tampo process just to make three different colored ewok heads. If they are willing to go to such lengths, we might have a chance at Cantina band. Other than magnets, I dont think the Ewoks are used in anything else right?
  8. Thanks for the kind words. Luckily I always have my Surefire Milspec Kroma in my car plus a few more surefires in my pack. I used the Kroma for the blue highlights and my Surefire helmet light for the red highlights. It adds a bit more drama to some of the fun scenes.
  9. Holy crap!!! This is awesome. Just like star tours!!!
  10. Sorry for the crappy shots. I dont have my light tent and lights here in NY, in my new apt. Gotta bring them over next trip. But I had a lot of fun with my Death Star set. What a wonderful smell you've discovered, Princess!!! I tried to mimic the shot when the MF leaves the DS. Picture quality is real crappy, sorry. "Ben?" Obligatory jump the gap shot. Use your hate and anger!! Whoops, chopped of your hand, wait you have a robot hand too?!!!! "Father help me"!!!!
  11. Thanks guys for the R2 third leg. It was driving me CRAZY!!! I took a spare axel pin and cut it short. now my R2 has a cheese slope 3rd leg yay!!!!
  12. Wait really? Monkey Feathers!!! I watched a clip on you tube by it wasn't Luke. It was the other Xwing pilot that failed to destroy the Death Star. His targeting scope came from the pilot's right side. Now I need to really rewatch New Hope.
  13. It is the ATAT helmet and new snow speeder body.
  14. Is there anything to do at Lego at Enfield, CT? probably not right? since S&H and customer service is there.
  15. I think for ROTJ 30 Year anniversary they could follow 2010 set releases. For ESB we had: Snowtrooper and Rebel Trooper battle packs Wampa Cave Slave 1 ATAT So in terms of ROTJ I envision: Cantina Band "Battle Pack" and maybe Ewoks Battle pack (But it all honesty I dont really see this happeneing as it is not very marketable for kids) For a Wampa cave like set they could do a Rancor Pit set. Jedi luke with robes fights the rancor and you build a large portculis/door to crush the rancor. Throw in a giant lego bone for the Rancor to chew on. Slave 1 sized set possible endor set. With ghost Jedi!!!!! yeah like that will ever happen. ATAT sized set would be Jabba's Palace. Modular so you can add Rancor pit. (one could hope) Add the various minifigs you want. Jabba, Boush Leia, new Solo Carbnonite, etc. OOh and a Midi Super Star Destroyer
  16. I dont think that will work. The bottom of R2 is female. and there is nothing on a cheese slope other than a female square hole.
  17. How do I get a cheese slope to stay on the bottom of R2-D2? Like in this diaorama? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=35649 Other than just placing directly under R2 and putting R2 ontop.
  18. By all means, copy away!!! However I must warn you guys, the fit is really tight. When closing the cockpit, the bottom edge of the cockpit can knock the scope out of alignment. So I remove the side panel and reposition the scope with a lego spear.
  19. Thanks. Having the scope rotate up and slide back was my intention from the beginning.
  20. Nothing fancy here. I recently picked up the 6212 X-Wing at my local TRU, partially hoping for a chrome Vader but no luck. Well after completing the build I was a little dissapointed in the lack of the targeting scope thingy that Obi Wan tells Luke to not use. So I tweaked the model a bit and played with limited elements. The toughest part is squeezing everything under the cockpit. C&C welcome. oh yeah, before anyone mentions it, yes I made a mistake and put the scope on the wrong side. I flipped the image in photoshop. I have since corrected in the build but didnt want to reshoot the pics.
  21. http://brickexpo.us/ I will be headed in the wrong direction but just posting it up for US fans.
  22. would you mind posting the ISBN number from the back of the book?
  23. I like the Deathstar gunner.
  24. Out of curiosity do you consider the Lego keychains as a separate minifig? For example, my Stormtrooper has the Lego logo printed on the back. Quite different from other released stormtroopers.
  25. Yeah the only true way to see sets is something that has large dollar signs behind it. Although I think Disney missed the mark with Prince of Persia. Toy Story and potentially Pirates of the Carribean are great licenses. I hope Prince of Persia doesnt cause Disney to second guess themselves and not try for Tron Legos.
