  9. This is among the best towers I have ever seen.
  10. Rhandel of the university of petraea, ancient documents department had arranged to meet a grizzled old sailor at a seedy dock side tavern, for this sailor had in his possession a document telling of a secret passage leading into the strong room of one of the principle towns on the inland sea. when the sailor eventually turned up (much to Rhandels relief) a deal was eventually struck (involving no small amount of haggling and a good deal of gold). Little did the hagglers know that they were being watched by one who's motives were a lot more sinister, for the passage ended in the towns strong room, where all it's gold was kept. When Rhandel eventually left the tavern with his precious load, a cloaked figure detached itself from the darkness by the taverns window and began to follow him.
  11. Believe it or not the background I used was white and taken in what I thought to be a well lit area (just outside the back door)so yes i am still having trouble with lighting, and I have also decided to go without the roof.
  12. The final Version of the tower on the inland sea which I have been working on, the latest addition to it is the battlements (thank you Gabe for the suggestion), and the reduction of the roof due to the increased size of the battlements. This is also the first moc I have made that has a (short) story to go along with it. Archaeologist Professor Durnovian is searching for the legendary remains of one of the first settlers on the inland sea, the settlers lord Vanderfel from long before the 4 guilds where established. Vanderfels resting place and most importantly the island lords legendary great sword, the location of the sword was lost when the islands were overun by Orcs and most of the islands records were lost. Little did he know that the legendary lord lay only a few studs away under one of the many towers built to give warning of the numerous attacks by the pirates that plagued that part of Historica.
  13. Sorry about the poor lighting, I lost my good lamp.
  14. I know I need more lighting because I managed to lose my lamp (just after I got back from camping) so yes I need to replace it.

  17. Who knows maybe this is the beginning of farming in Kaliphlin.
  18. Nice but i'm not sure it fits into GoH.
  19. One of the first fortifications to be built on the inland sea. I rebuilt my fort adding in the tan 1x2 bricks to brake up the wall a bit thus avoiding big gray wall syndrome. I also wanted to try out this roof design.
  20. I was about to start sorting Heroica pieces and had the idea of using the microfigs for skittles, and it worked better than I had hoped.
  21. I would like to claim the following credit, Curved tower, wall technique. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=99054
