    A beautiful banner, Sandy. It's sad that it marks the end of an era...but it's been an incredible era.

"But...before the road is completely behind us, there is one last thing that needs to be said." He turned, and stood in front of Arthur."Arthur...When I first saw Immortalis...I admired him. What he preached seemed to make sense to me. The "wise," benevolent people wisely ruling over everyone else, and making "necessary" choices for "the greater good". I - I believe I was under a bit of a god complex. But it just was all my own vanity, feeding and reading into it." The Black Knight shook his head. "It's very easy to talk on about "the greater good," and loudly muse about how the "means justify the end" - but then I actually got to see it in action. I had to watch the Proggs stand there, and have to helplessly see their houses destroyed. Hundreds of creatures loosing their homes, just to slightly expedite a "greater good", that would have happened either way. And I suddenly realized just how many innocent people get caught in the crossfire of that kind of "wise rule". How many people get hurt, for no real purpose." He sighed. "So, I'm sorry, Arthur. You were right, and I was wrong." He shrugged. "Heck, I'm probably wrong about plenty of things... But I'm starting to figure them out."

    Keep in mind, it only adds +1 WP when there's an enemy demon in the area. Unless Germ's got some plans we don't know about... EDIT to my previous question(I thought I remembered something, didn't realize it was on the very previous page. ): I assume "ability" includes Enemy multipliers?

He eyed the pile thoughtfully."I wonder if those Greaves would pair well with my Netherwings...barring that, those Palms could be useful." He held up his hands. "Just statin' preferences, not playin' Dibsies." OoC: Can we auto-add the 250 gold reward to our Inventories? Does that mean that Sharpening it cuts off at 50 WP? Thank you. It's been an awesome one.

    Can Double Damage to X multipliers stack, if they're part of gear? (E.g.: Generic Bodywear(Bodywear, x2 against Beasts), Generic Helmet(Helmet, x2 against Beasts) - would that grant x4 against Beasts, or just x2?)

Do we get extra goodies, then, the Black Knight thought, since we actually finished the assigned quest about two days ago, and all of this has been free overtime. He chuckled softly to himself. He might have finally understood - and finally be trying to get rid of - his complexes, but it would be a strange day before he'd be rid of his love for good loot. Well, you have to leave something for tomorow...

    Sandy, you have always been an incredible GM, QM, and wonderfully patient and helpful person. Thank you so much for creating this game, and best wishes with whatever you do!

This is not about your wonder child's feelings. This is about saving Eubric from imminent destruction - and ultimately, deciding what is to be done so other cities don't suffer the same fate. And your child, wonderful as she may be, is not experienced enough to make that kind of seasoned judgement." Lind stared at the arrogant little dragon."You aren't in the position to "take things into consideration". You don't have that authority. This is a team. You may have the backing of one of the more experienced members, but you still have to make your own way. Get yourself elected as a party leader someday, if you want - but until that day, you do not have the kind of authority." "Again, you don't have the authority to ever-so-graciously "consider" our flat-out telling you that's not your place."He shook his head. "I'd vote for it being Karie who decides "who ends this" - but that wouldn't really be fair on her..." He shook his head again, and returned to the battle. "On it." Lind steadied his shield, and waited for the blow. OoC: If Arthur fails, Lind uses Severa Slasher against the Left Rapturewings from the Back Row. If he succeeds, he uses a Grand Potion on whoever Arthur or Karie directs him to.

    Lind shook his head."Arthur, I don't want to argue with you now, just when we're on speaking terms again, but this is a group. Not a monarchy. And your dragon is not our party leader. She doesn't get to call the shots on who kills what, when, and why. This isn't a family squabble, this is a massive event that will, in all likeliness, reverberate across all of Olegia for decades. What to do when - if - Immortalis falls - is something that we will need to decide as a group, through our combined wisdom - or whatever we have that's closest to it. Not through leaving it up to the youngest member, and "just hoping she makes the right decision"."

    Changing out of his armor, the Black Knight suddenly studied his chest wounds. "Actually, no, not the right time for this..." He turned back to the battle. Lind took up a defensive position in the Back Row.

    In the Back Row, Lind starts changing out of the Mythril Mail. EDIT: Actually, my earlier health calculations were off.

    OoC: Stormpiercer should be +3 Burning. I think Lind should be down to 7 health? (25-21=4+30, 41-34=7) "A City of First Mortals..." the Black Knight muttered, thoughtfully. The searing pain in his chest quickly caused him to snap back to the battle. "Arthur, thoughts - should I step back, and put on my Invader Armor, get a little more push in my attacks - or should I keep slicing away at his tail?"

    Stunned after the heavy battering - but pleased that his Plasma Shield had worked - Lind massaged his head from the Back Row for his first action. For his second action, he attacks Immortalis Stormpiecer with Severa Slasher from the Front Row. "This is dangerous...but if I make a single misstep, I'm going to get knocked out no matter where I'm standing." OoC: Immortalis Stormpiercer should be Burning 3.

    Whether the "figurehead" of the harassment should have been banned or not...I'm not going to speculate. I didn't see the tweets, and I haven't been able to find them.That being said, my condolences to Mrs. Jones for having to deal with someone(not the "figurehead") spoofing her name and making offensive tweets in her name. That's a horrible thing to have to go through.

    OoC: Does Immune to/Absorbs Electricity have any effect on Electrocution? And is an Electric-element attack?Lind swaps out his Skull Shield for his Plasma Shield. For his first action, (If it is not already Fragile), he attacks Immortalis Stormpiercer with Gladius from the Back Row. If Immortalis Stormpiercer is Fragile, he attacks it with Severa Slasher from the Back Row. If he has a second action(and Fragile did not apply), he repeats with Gladius from the Back Row. If it is Fragile, he attacks it with Severa Slasher from the Back Row.

    When it comes to swapping gear, are Shields treated as Weapons(doesn't cost a turn), or as Artifacts(costs a turn)?

    OoC: Sorry to keep calling out errors, but I just noticed that Lind's armor stat is still using the SP from the Invader Armor, and needs an additional +1 from his Akrone Fez. Also, he should only have 41 maximum health, not 42. Fixed: So earlier, with the higher SP, he should only have taken 10 damage, leaving him at 30/41 healthwise. Grabbing his sip from the Mead, Lind followed it with a Potion.

I'm a bit loathe to trust my personal judgement at the moment." Lind accepted the scroll eagerly. "I've been looking for one of these for a long time..."He gently ran his fingers up the edge of the paper, and tucked it carefully away. After a moment, he pulled it out, and held it towards Siercon. "Want to borrow it for the next battle? Battle mages can use scrolls, can't they?"
