  1. Nice job getting the feel of war-torn terrain with the stripped trees and such. And that road looks muddy! Well done.
  2. Wonderful little vig! And I second Kai's comment on the use of the paintbrush as a candle.
  3. Regardless, where are those helmets from? And the torsos are stickers?
  4. I understood the typo, no worries. I still wanted to add some more detail to the walls, but I was happy with the double arch doorway.
  5. Thanks. I had a lot of fun with that! Yeah, baby! The walls were a problem, as I didn't really have the time to do the level of detail I'd like, and I also hadn't thought about how tall those pikes are! Eslandola has the most feared pikemen in the Brick Seas!
  6. Gotta show those Eslandian tercios some love. Yep. I've never seen a longer pike design in proper Legos that I like. BrickWarriors.
  7. On Punto Sur, an Eslandian officer oversees the latest recruits getting their weapons at the armory. A small build to recruit a company of troops.
  8. No worries. You raised valid issues (and you weren't the first ).
  9. Love it! Pirate hideouts don't get added to the public MRCA list, lest their location be divulged. Just list the name and correct zone in the mrca form, and be able to provide the password. So you're already able to use it for this turn. Edit: Ah, I see you were talking about the new drop down menus. I believe that is being taken care of.
  10. Although the IC implications are pretty fun (friction with Oleon is almost a certainty), there are some serious OOC consequences that should be addressed; Without solid rules, all RPGs devolve into bickering child's play. This was brought up in the Court and has been discussed there. I don't think this will wind up being as big a deal in this instance as it sounds like, but we are aware of the ramifications and have a plan. For now we are letting this play out in real time through the KPA, so enjoy the storytelling elements of this and don't worry.
  11. ooh, I like this a lot! Not identical to many of the Corrish builds we see, but definitely fits with them. It shows the differences among locations across the Empire. Good texture in the building front, and I really like those pentagonal shields for the roof. Nice color usage in the foliage. I like the stone columns on either end. And the use of the letter tiles to create curtains behind the windows is brilliant! Well done!
  12. A wonderful build. Very dynamic! I love what is possible with the articulated horses. Great battle scene! I particularly like the smashed cannon. And the base for the vig is very cool! ... But, I can't help but think that Duque Pedro Alejandro Blazquez de Motamoros is trying to steal the thunder of Maurice of Greene, Prince of Brickwall, whom we already know was the hero of the battle of Puerto Desafio (earlier known by the name of the prior Mardiereian city on that site, La Puebloto). But never fear! Maurice would have been a royalist today if he had lived!
  13. Nope, you don't have to do anything for them.
  14. Very cool! Indeed. Looking forward to more! That's what I like about them. Sometimes we get so focused on building "realistic" MOCs that we forget to build stuff that is fun! Well done.
  15. True, it does seem a bit complicated at first blush, but it really isn't. If you decide to give it a go at some point, check out this thread: and figure out what faction appeals to you. Then, post your minifig with backstory in the main Intro thread, announce the faction you want to join, and you'll have plenty of faction members who will help you navigate the game mechanics. Typically posting a small ship and a small land-based build of some sort will set you up to start doing everything in the game.
  16. Your data entry for the tMRCA income looks like it got off by a line somewhere. I have no income but the line above me has 1540, which sounds about right for me. FYI. Thanks for all the work you put into doing this!
  17. Very nice! If you ever head over to the Brethren of the Brick Seas forum, you might be interested in a run of hypothetical CMF series we did along a similar vein: BoBS CMF - Series 1BoBS CMF - Series 2BoBS CMF - Series 3BoBS CMF - Series 4BoBS CMF - Series 5BoBS CMF - Series 6BoBS CMF - Series 7BoBS CMF - Series 8 BoBS CMF - Series 9
  18. The sign-up deadline for the next Trade MRCA is July 19, midnight, anywhere in the world. ---------------- To sign-up for the Trade MRCA, read the rules here and then sign-up via this form. For a ship to take part in the MRCA, it must be licensed. You can license your ship under the new ship rules via this form. If there are any issues (typo, wrong number of points or other issues) with this process, PM @Bregir. Note that the MRCA signup form still doesn’t have raids added yet, so if you’re interested in conducting a raid this turn, PM @Capt Wolf. If you’re just going to be trading, you can go ahead and fill out the forms normally. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT MAP ZONE INFORMATION: - Note that zone 34 connects to zone 36 - Explorers have confirmed that the open sea south of zone 35 is navigable. As such, zone 62 (unmarked on map) is available for travel in the MRCA. Zone 62 connects to zones 33, 35, 37, and 38. Cartographers are working to get the maps updated as soon as possible. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In addition to the information above, consult the following two maps for trade zone numbers before submitting any forms. First, the continental coast and the seas closest to northern Halos: IMPORTANT: Note that if you click on the above map to go to one you can zoom in on, there is an error on the linked map (zones 10 and 11 are mislabeled). Use the map visible above for proper zone labels. Note that the settlement marked on the above map as Dragonstone now goes by the name of Aurelia. Second, here is the map for the New Haven Sea, which has a growing number of settlements: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And here are the trade values as of February 8, 622. When filling out your MRCA form, please make sure you spell the ports exactly as they appear below. The following islands can also be chosen as destinations. They have no trade value, so you won't earn any DBs sailing to them, but they're better than sinking. If sailing to one of these islands, use the name listed here: Also, the pirate hideouts of Barracuda Bay in zone 27 and Dragon Lair in zone 13 can be visited by black flag ships of any faction and remain hidden in the subsequent KPA ship report. But this is for pirates only. Ships not flying the black visiting these hideouts will likely be captured by Captain Redbeard or The Dragon! Additionally, just a quick reminder that a couple of players had results from the last MRCA that required builds before those ships could sail again.
  19. I'm sure it'll be good. I love the IRL inspiration!
  20. That's looking great! Is there a IRL inspiration for it? Also, good to see you're alive.
  21. Cool figs. And a scary unit to meet in battle! Where are those horses from?
  22. Yeah, tough MRCA for the MAESTRO convoys! The story write-up is in error, as the Princesse Margot was captured in the battle. It should say that the Dark Purple Rain towed in the Kingfish. For some reason I got some of the ships confused as I wrote that story.
  23. Alas, I'm selling off un-MOC'd ships...
  24. Who do I talk to about selling these ships?
  25. Results sorted by owner Part 1 (Altonia through Lotus): Part 2 (MAESTRO through Weelond):
