I do. Edited...

You have misunderstood the treaty. The quiver was to remain in the OL temple in Kings Port. This is really the kind of things that should have been handled in the peace treaty and in the court.
-
It was discussed in the Court.

Other than needing to present Sillitholina as the separate towns of North Sillitholina (OL) and South Sillitholina (COT), looks good! Also, I would ask that the small island off the coast of Tanari (see earlier map) be presented on this new map. It may be important later.

[BTV2 - OL] The Death of COL Delange
Capt Wolf replied to CapOnBOBS's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
An appropriate subject, well told and well illustrated. As mentioned earlier, the last two photos are very effective. Cheers for Delange and Beauchamp! -
A beautiful little vessel. Good design, decoration, and rigging. What's not to like?!

Easy mistake to make. No worries. But send @Ayrlego a PM about it, as he pretty much handles the troop stuff by hand.

Nice build, and an interesting topic for troop raising. I like it! The expression on the instructor is perfect! FYI, according to the account sheet, Charlatan Bay is a City, not a Large City, which means its troop raising limit per turn is 60, not 90.

When last we saw Captain Jack Merker and his first mate, Kate, they had been captured by the Lotii. After months in captivity, forced to work in a textile mill in Oryant on El Oleonda, Jack finally found their chance to escape. In the harbor was a strange little vessel. It appeared to originally be a Carnovian cutter or small supply ship of some sort that the Lotii captured during their war. But the Lotii had replaced its spar and square sail with something from one of their junks, and added ornamentations all around, including a ballista on the fo'c'stle and lanterns on the stern. And it must have been repainted by two men working from opposite ends, as when the color schemes met in the middle, they did not match! It was an orphan of a ship tied up to the dock, and no one would miss it or pay it any mind. At least that's what Jack was counting on. For disguises, Kate was able to appropriate some native clothing, and Jack replaced his usual tricorn hat with a hat set aside by a native worker. When the guard was distracted, Jack and Kate slipped away, down to the dock, untied the strange craft, and shoved off. Kate armed the ballista... ... and Jack manned the tiller ... ... as they sailed out of the port. Jack figured they would hug the coast and sail northwest, and then head across the open sea for Spudkirk. Could he and Kate avoid Lotus patrols and convoys? He had his doubts, but the strange little ship (which he and Kate had taken to calling Scorpion due to its figurehead) proved quite nimble. Maybe this would work out. ----- This is what happens on a rainy Saturday afternoon when I'm fiddling with boat pieces. This is a Frankenstein's monster of a boat, an unrealistic cross between the cutter from the Imperial Trading Post and the "Emperor's Ship," an old Adventurers set. But as I was fiddling with the mismatched pieces, I realized I had the vehicle (so to speak ) to get Jack and Kate back into BoBS. So please excuse my brief story and lack of any other substantial builds to flesh out the tale. They'll probably be recaptured in the MRCA, as is Jack's usual luck, but I prefer to resume this tale with a leap of faith rather than a done deed. And hopefully this is just what I need to start in on some MOCs to flesh out their tale going forward. All C&C welcome.

With the war over, domestic concerns can return to cargo and trade instead of raising and transporting troops. And so another small island hopper is launched to ply the trade lanes of the Sea of Storms. Following in the wake of the Lark and the Sparrow is the Finch: The captain looks back at the port of Weelond receding on the horizon as he sets sail on the maiden voyage of his new ship. Nothing fancy here, just a build of another class 1 ship, a MOD of the cutter from the Imperial Trading Post set. This was a quick build to fill a rainy Saturday afternoon when other plans were cancelled. The sails did not turn out quite how I wanted, and rigging was problematic, so some of it has been added digitally. But this still makes for quite a playable little ship. All C&C welcome.

Another fun approach to an administrative build! The interior build is very nice, and the dockside photography is very well done!

José's Inn - Ye Olde BoBS Drinking Hole
Capt Wolf replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Yep, me too. Martin the Martian's helmet might make for an interesting Eslandola guard unit. -
I love that you made the whole company. It really is quite a sight. Good figure posing, and your usual terrain looks good as always. And my hovercraft base has been ordered!
-
Excellent MOC. It really has a sense of motion! And the flying dirt just adds to that. Good job with the landscaping, too. I like the irregular edge of the ground within the black frame.

This captures the spirit of expanding ship level limits perfectly! Bravo! And we all know it will more than 5 minutes, or even 30.

Oldis looked at Count Navarro and nodded. "The Archduke consents to the terms," stated the count. @KotZ @Bregir

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II

HI Cap. Thanks for calling the show. Trade companies do not get any advantage in the MRCA. Their benefits are limited to property yields. -
[SR - FB1] Sugarcane Plantation
Capt Wolf replied to TomSkippy's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I missed this last week. I love it! Fantastic use of the palm leaves! Good job with the varied base. The olive color works well here. Good little windmill. Details all around! Good job showing interiors and the processing. Wonderful all around! -
I love this! Great detail, both architecturally and with minifgs, the scene, etc. It inspires me to get my bricks out!

I think the design of this fort is awesome! I believe this is the first Japanese castle style build we've seen in BoBS, and you've done a splendid job. I really like the unconnected/rotated slopes used in the lower walls. And the trees are beautiful. A unique build. Fantastic!

"Much more blood will be spilled if we do not reach a peace, and with the combined forces of Terraversa and Corrington, plus the Eslandolan mercenaries, outnumbering Oleon and royalist forces by almost 2-to-1, Oleon could easily lose more than Sillitholina or Tarlor. But maybe there is an answer in another of your concerns: the geographic gap between Nola Mar and Pilnton. I will not speak for L'Olius or his Corrish allies, but would you and they consider a trade of Pilnton for Sillitholina ? L'Olius would get Pilnton, Tarlor, and Westface, consolidating around the great plantations and the southern coast; the royalists would get Nola Mar and Sillitholina on the north coast. With this, the royalist settlements would not be divided by the interior and would be better able to support each other." @KotZ @Bregir

On the road to Pamu [Collab - part 1]
Capt Wolf replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I also failed to comment on this when posted. Great all-around build, and that roof technique is fantastic! I will likely use that technique sometime in the future. -
Count Navarro whispered a comment to Archduke Oldis. Oldis appeared to dismiss him, but the count continued in a somewhat agitated state. Finally, Oldis relented. "If the proposed border between Tanari and Pilnton could be moved southeastward to a midpoint between the two settlements, Count Navarro would be pleased." Oldis shot a glance at the count. "Some of his holdings are on Lake Zius." "Other than that, Mr. Montoya's proposal is acceptable to us."
