Hello my thick-hide hairy friends of the North, how's everyone doing today? Any news as to when Challenge III may begin? Or any news in that fact?

I wish you guys wouldn't bring it up! I want to use those Flamethrowers super bad but perhaps it could be used as maybe a prototype design that fails horribly when used, like explodes or something? Maybe it shoots magic or something? I'm spit-balling ideas right now as I'm typing this but I would have loved to have used the idea as there being only a select few in GoH due to the outlandish idea, complicated design and mechanics, and the resources it takes to use it. Maybe it can be a combination of both realistic and fantasy in the sense it can only use the breath of a Dragon and that would be super hard to get because of how dangerous it would be to get that. Again, they're ideas and if there is no way to get around it, I'll just completely scrap the idea. And the minifigs shown in the picture will not be the Zar-Ifrikt, in case you guys are wondering, they will be Orc minifigs.

Very cool build and I love the fact you added a dead Clone trooper in that one picture, cool idea.

Very nice build, it came out awesome. I also like how you added the blue and red on the "kiosk" to represent it's Kaliphlin-made.

For the cricket bat, the best way I can think of is buy it from a BrickArms reseller for $1.

Damn, now that is one beautiful tower. I'm not sure how to put it in words because I'm just so amazed by how it looks. And I do love the fact you went beyond the call of duty and added, I'm assuming an LED light, for the fire effect at the top. That's the cherry on the cake for me, good job Gideon! :thumbup:

I hate you so much right now, Jakorin, because I'm jealous on how nice it looks! The well looks really cool, especially with the roof of it, and I'm glad that you didn't make Kaliphlin look like a barren wasteland because a lot of people tend to think that.

Where I live, the school system is different so I went to school a bit older than most districts and I did get in trouble, past three years in a row, for causing fights both years in Middle School and my Freshman year but I'd rather not gloat about it because it's off-topic and I'd rather not get into my personal life. I also need to fix my age, I put the wrong year and I can't believe I never caught that. Add that to the embarrassment list. Anyways, I did get my BrickWarriors' stuff today and I love the accessories, they look awesome and they look like they'll fit in well with my Orcs. On the other hand, I guess I didn't pay for the BrickLink things so I just payed for them now so they should come next week. What can I say, I forgot to check my email. Also, I feel like I should ask, that Avalonian Task for Historica Settlements is open to all GoH members, right? Once my orders arrive, I will also participate in that, if I can.

I'd look at some Nocturnus builds and make a judgment from that. But I definitely recommend lots black and dark colors for Nocturnus builds.

November 15th? I'll gladly help out out for the prologue builds, as long as they are reasonable so I will definitely help out as best I can. I may be busy with High School a lot but I can try to make some time for a some builds before the end date. I'll PM you my WIP's since it seems to be easier for me.

Alright, I'll take down my entry because it sucks and I won't post another one.

I like that idea, I may use that. Similar to soul gems is what I think you're trying to hint at? Well I have plenty of gem pieces I could use for it so I can do that. But I feel like there should be a con to it, maybe the crystal decays over a certain amount of time?

Ouch, that hurts. This was just a very quick entry which only took 10 minutes and as the contest says, two entries are allowed. I can go with a different approach featuring familiar faces but I don't want this to end up as a popularity contest. If anyone wants to donate a picture the most recognizable person from each guild I could use, I'd gladly do that but don't say I'm not taking this seriously because if I were, the outcome of it could have been a whole lot worse. But with my second entry, I will try to have a better entry. As for an actual background, I have no clue how I'd find one suitable for all four guilds since the environments are all different. I can keep looking for a better one. And the reason it has the black specs everywhere is because my favorite style is using the ink blotched technique. I also don't have Photoshop like lots of people, I use Paint.NET and I would use GIMP but I downloaded that not that long ago so I'm still trying to get used to it since I've been using Paint.NET for about five years now.

Nice vignette but I don't understand why the Stormtrooper is wearing that gray armor.

Nice little build and nice dialogue. I agree that it could look a bit like a farm though.

I might give this a go. I'm not sure how I'd get pictures of minifigs and a good background but I can try a few methods I guess.
