Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
That could work. Yeah, we are getting a bit off-topic. I blame Monday! I'm not too sure as to what has been happening but my concepts are slowly drifting into place each day. Also who, what, and where are the Drow? -
Thanks! I have only one light so I had to make do with it. And note that the background is actually a shelf.

Oh, okay! I assumed you just used the entire figure! I am actually kind of anxious and excited to see what you can make using the head part... -

Yup, I'm not really busy today so I'm kind of on a posting frenzy! And thanks! I also know it's not too awesome but it's a start. I also agree, there should be a stickied topic dedicated to new MOC builders and useful parts for certain builds and such. It definitely helped me but I'll try to get some orders placed by the end of this month for more parts and minifigs. Though, I should take a look around for other people's signature figure and soldiers so I can try to replicate them. -

Tenacious D is a pretty good band and the movie was awesome! But the Panda Guy minifig doesn't even whisper warrior. Perhaps you can somewhat customize him to be like a battle-hardened Panda-man-brute? -

That is what I'm going for [hopefully]! But in a non traditional Elf way, to say the least. I just like the Uruk Hai parts because the torso and legs could easily be used for a Leather Armor type of feel and the heads are interesting, menacing, and have nice coloring. -

Thanks! They can get quite expensive so I was thinking of making a special type of Elf. Not the traditional human-like Elf but something more... "menacing". I really like the Uruk Hai minifigs and wanted to use that. Something like The Elder Scrolls with different Elves. I love that idea but I can only pull that off with a Post-Apocalyptic style mostly using guns and ruined modern-day gear and such. -
Thank you! In a way, yes. It's interesting to make it focus more on the tomb itself and what's close a bit more blurry though. I'll have to do it the other way around with another MOC.

I just got this idea for my concept for my character and tribe and stuff. Perhaps instead of Orcs, maybe a type of Elf? Maybe called "Deep Elves for short"? -
Wow, they actually look really good!

Awesome buildings with fantastic details! I also love the brick work on them too, it makes them stand out a lot more! -
Very beautiful cars but I'd have to save the Ford Falcon is my favorite since the Mad Max movies are my favorite movies of all time! I love the Dodge Charger as well but it needs a paint job. Overall, these cars are awesome and I love them!

It looks good but you should try using the joints from certain Mixel sets so it's more articulate. Also, clever usage for the Battle Axes on the shoulders.

That's an awesome set!

I like the use of the slops for the front and the flick missiles as guns! I wish there were some other parts because I'm curious as to see what the back looks like.
