Does anyone hear an echo?

Those are both very good MOCs. I like them. Lego needs to make a balding hairpiece(although I don't know how they'd attach it. unless they made it like Mauls new horn piece).

Well, maybe you should've sent the pink barding in with a note saying that you'd like this remedied. Oh wait, but then you wouldn't have 2 for the price of one. How are they supposed to know they had sent you ome pinker than the last, without something to go off of...

That's not a bad idea. It may not be as "flashy" as the actual chrome brick may be(I don't know, because I don't own any chrome bricks). But, the saber hilts seem to hold up well. I know someone mentioned that as a gripe about the chrome bricks and how'd they would chip/scratched up and thus become dechromed(not a word, but it works ). EDIT: is the chrome print the same as the gold of the minifigs keychain/town plan bricks? If so, mine have held up well over the years, so maybe they have a more durable solution that they put over the bricks...

I saw 3815 Heroic Heroes at TRU last week here in the States(California).

My family is looking at moving and I'm hoping for the same thing. Were looking for a 3 bedroom house as well, that way I can have a Lego room. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Wow, I certainly deserve that face, fallen. I reread that post I made, and I don't know why I typed that, nor what I was saying, sorry. What I was trying to say, is why people assume she's going to be in that Lego set(assuming they're making it, unlikely)when in the movie, when she was in that ship, she was never in that outfit. I guess I could've just said that, huh? I'm gonna read my post again and see if I can figure out what the hell I said there.

But what I(and the good doctor)said is that the speculation of that starship becoming a Lego set just because we're getting Amidala is unwarranted because when she was in that starship, she was never in that garb. Edit: because I didn't know what I even typed before.(thanks fallen )

Sorry for the double post(assuming nobody posts before I submit this). I'm on an iPad and I can't scroll down and my window fills up fast. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't ever remember her in that gown on that ship? She was impersonating her servant when she went with Qui-Gon and Obi Wan to Tatoonie(right?) when they ended up meeting Anakin...then back to Naboo. My memory is a bit fuzzy, haven't seen it lately.

Yeah, but there's now 27 pages, with I'd bet about 25 of these pages worth of posts have been, "I wish for..." "I want this..." "I hope we get...". Those clearly aren't rumors. The only rumors I've read are the BPs, this "collectible concept", and that juicy tidbit from Cap't Kirk. Can we please keep the hopes and dreams in the "Future Star Wars sets" thread...

Where'd the OP go? Why did he interest us all with his supposed huge collection, then disappear... I'd really like to see his collection, not really to prove that he actually has them, but just to see that many Lego, I'm excited if there were pictures.

Wow, that's pretty neat. I like how it folds open like that, very clever. Kind of like a dollhouse(they fold up like that, don't they?). Very cool design, especially for a second MOC.

When I say replacement I didn't mean like a direct replacement as you(Flitwick) said about SP to AC. I meant replacement as in Lego themes in general. An example of my thoughts would be, say Lego has "10" themes currently in production. In this list are Pharaohs Quest and Atlantis. They scratch out the aforementioned themes and replace them in the list with DC and Marvel. Does that make sense? Hopefully it does.

HP in 3D and IMAX(for those who don't know, IMAX is an insanely huge screen). It was CRAZY good. It was, however rather expensive, tickets were $19 per person(!). But the experience is bar non and so worth it. If you have an IMAX in your vicinity; like a 2 hour or so drive, I highly recommend seeing an IMAX movie, it's unreal.

A bit of a random post... Anyone think(or know)if these themes will take the place of Atlantis and/or Pharaohs Quest? I haven't seen any news on either theme for late '11 or any '12 releases...

I'm with you on the lizardmen front. The picture sure looks like a lizard(or perhaps snake). I don't think it's a dragon, though. It just doesn't have that dragon look, to me. If it is, in fact lizardmen, I may have to delve more into this theme.

They must not be, or I'm just really unlucky. I got every set minus the Ewok Attack and no poster...

I don't even know if they could be called rumors. I think he's just going off the Amidala fig. As many well known members have said, that starship is highly unlikely to be reproduced in Lego, because of the chrome. Not sure about the BPs either. Whether that's a true rumor or just speculation on what will be in them. After reading the comments, it doesn't seem likely, because(I can't remember who) said that the BPs are taking on a new look and have both factions in them, he even added that he has seen pics.

That definitely would free up some space, and true some do sell them. I always thought that was just from people who buy Lego just for resale purposes. Even if one is a MOCer, you'd think they'd still get the itch to build the intended model. And, of course there always is technology.

Yeah, I don't think it's because they're worried about resale. That's an interesting thought, Pep, about the intended age demographic. I'm sure cost plays a part in it. I remember in the old days those rocky castle window pieces we have to stick were printed.

I could be wrong, but I believe he has 1800 in total. The 1228 he refers to is his number of sets without duplicates.

This is a great layout! It's so busy yet not cluttered. I love the integration of the different themes. I saw at least 6 different ones, well done. You made them fit in so well it seems like they belong in the City theme.
