  1. Yeah! Let's hope they work that out before release. Captains shield better be a printed piece. I can't wait for these to come out. Although I'll probably pass on DC line, although I said the same thing about Alien Conquest and Pharaohs Quest(which I have all of now), so who's to say. I'll be getting Marvel, I love me some Marvel! Why so much hate for The Hulk? He is bigger than normal people, so why would they make him a minifigure, that'd be pretty lame. It's like he's inbetween transformation. I think he looks perfect with that mold, just as he should be.
  2. I never understood why people list available items for higher than S@H, doesn't make sense to me. Some prices for even retired sets are crazy. I agree that they should be more than retail, but the markup on some is insane. I only thing I'd "Buy It Now" option are individual figs.
  3. Wait, you emailed Lego and asked them a question 3 different times, and they had the audacity to give you the information you asked about? How dare they! Who do they think they are answering your questions!? I, for one love their customer service and am so relieved to call them and get someone on the other line instead of a machine(as mentioned before). Was it not you who was happy about receiving the free horses a few months ago? If so, I really am confused.
  4. I don't even know where to begin. It's nice to finally see an overall shot of this. With all your teaser pics over the last few weeks, it's like I already knew what was coming, but seeing this now just blows my mind. It's really incredible to see what people can do with LEGO these days. Much like AC, mayday artist is clearly up there as best large scale MOCers. This is just amazing and as usual your attention to detail is so above par.
  5. Ooh, that's a tough one. Amy preference on theme? Collect both? While I don't yet have the hillside house, I think it's a great model(speaking of the main one). But, the downside, although not an attraction to the Creator line, is the minifigure. Temple of Atlantis is a great addition to the Atlantis line, and a good end to the current story(which worries me about the continuation of the line). The crab minifigure is by far the best of theme. Is this a question of which one, period, or which one first?
  6. Judging by your post, you're not aware that a new MF has juat come out, so unless you're particular to the MF that you mention, you'll definitely have time to get the MF. GE is a really good set, seeing as you collect Town you won't be let down with it. I'd say you still have a good chunk of time before the GE goes into retirement, the Fire Brigade goes next, right? Then GE...
  7. A bit of a spoiler alert, although if you read the books, it's really not, but either way for this who haven't seen the movie, turn back now I don't see why the inclusion of Sprout in this set after seeing the movie today(AWESOME, by the way). She had no part in the movie, or battle for that matter. She was only briefly in the movie.
  8. I'd have to lean towards this as well, overall better set. It is one of(if not the only)set in the line that comes with the shiny gold pieces. Elizabeths hair is rockin', too.
  9. After my visit to TRU, that's what I decided to do. In the end, I saved a good deal of money cause I took advantage of free shipping that ended yesterday and of course I avoided the TRU markup. I do hate waiting for the delivery though. Especially since being in California means it takes a week or better to get out here. That's why I don't mind buying from TRU, even at markup, at least I get them right then and there. But, I figure since I've waited this long and they're still not in stores, what's another week of waiting when I'm guaranteed sets.
  10. Just ordered from S@H... 7868 Mace Windus Jedi Starfighter(finally!) 7877 Naboo Starfighter 7957 Sith Nightspeeder 7959 Geonosian Starfighter 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulbas Podracers 7964 Republic Frigate 7965 Millennium Falcon This is the last of my "to buy" list. Now, it's time to recoup my money and decide on the "on the fence" purchase until the next wave.
  11. Still nothing at TRU(Northern Cali), even with both TRU.com and S@H having them.
  12. Mutley, I want at least one more Frigate myself, definitely going to get 2. Yeah, no Ewoks just yet, no infiltrator either. The order is just ones I for sure wanted.
  13. Just ordered from S@H... 7868 Mace Windus Jedi Starfighter(finally!) 7877 Naboo Starfighter 7957 Sith Nightspeeder 7959 Geonosian Starfighter 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulbas Podracers 7964 Republic Frigate 7965 Millennium Falcon Now the long wait for them to get to me, but oh happy day when they do!
  14. Anyone know exactly why TRU marks up LSW? The new wave ranges from as few as $3 to as much as $10.
  15. Isn't 10195 a UCS set? I never noticed at the time of building, but it didn't come with a plaque.
  16. Why would Slughorn come with this set? When you say it's from Prisoner of Azkaban, he wasn't even around for another 3 years...
  17. No spoiler, it's in just about all the previews. This thing is just about spot on, you really captured every inch of that scene in Lego.
  18. I'm glad to hear you're able to return it and get a new one(hopefully complete) this time. The Green Grocer is such a great set, the build, the details, the architecture is all just fantastic.
  19. Vindicare

    Dirt.

That Dirt sign is just ingenious! I love the odd uniformity(that a word? Not sure...)of it. It really does have a "Plasmos" feel to it.
  20. That's what I was getting at. Sure, there's a train, car and bus, but there's almost limitless ones in SW.
  21. The best way to tell would be to build the set to see for sure. Although, I'm sure you came to that conclusion on your own. Did you check other reviews to see if the bag count differs from one review to the other?
  22. I'm pretty sure you count just the numbered bags. So, when it says 12 bags for the first floor, that doesn't include the inner bags. While there's 12 bags, there may actually be say "16".
  23. I'm about half way to the minimum at 238(261 with duplicates). I'd like to see a picture of his attempt.
  24. Nice, good to finally hear were heating them in the States.
  25. Oh, I don't think HP, or any theme, for that matter will be bigger than SW. I was just saying it has the potential to be up there with it. There's still plenty of locales that could be recreated in Lego. While HP doesn't have ships/vehicles, they do have a lot of notable buildings that could become reality. As mentioned, Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade has many named shops that could be made. Grimmauld Place, Shell Cottage, Ministry of Magic, many places to visit.
