Pretty solid bank, except the gaping holes in the sides of the building.

Wow! For your first MOC this is great. I love the mech with the escape pod head. The way you built the craft, with the spike pieces, and the pose, it looks very menacing. Great combo of the white/gold, too. Great job and I look forward to your next creation.

This is excellent! The color combo is great. The sleekness of this ship screams "SWOOSH". This is just an all around great ship, and I have no complaints.

You're really excited for these aren't you?! Exclamation points for everyone! That finalized Ironman is pretty great looking. I figured as much, but I was keeping my fingers crossed about him. Now, LEGO, how about that Spidey set?

What you should make a petition for is to tell all the schmucks paying these stupid prices for it to stop. You'd probably have better chance of that happening then the reissue. What it all comes down to is, "ya snooze, ya lose". While I do have all the Modulars, there's plenty I missed out on while in my Dark Days, but I'm not going to email LEGO asking for a rerelease, just going to suck it up. If having the Cafe Corner reissued meant no new Modular, which is would, I definitely don't want to see it. Plus, while I don't collect LEGO for dollar amounts, it's nice to know I have a set like the Cafe Corner, that warrants such a price and the oh so lovely envy in new AFOLs.

While I'm sure they're pretty much the same scale, those cars are custom made.

After reading this thread, I'm so glad I don't collect LEGO for the pieces/MOCs, otherwise I'd be crazy just like the rest of you . Trying to pack all those pieces in so intricately so I can fit just one more piece in there.

Ooh! That would be an awesome color combo. Someone else mentioned the new olive green color. For the City-esque sets I'm guessing LEGO is going to keep with baseplates so they can meld with the street plates they sell. --------------------------------------------- Why all the hate for the color choice of the Town Hall? It's a great color and looks a lot better than what the pictures are saying.

Ooh! I'm glad you posted this. I saw this over on The Brothers Brick, and I was hoping you'd post it here. I love this house, the 'brick' brick walls. The roof is great. I love the cracked roads. Oh heck! I love everything. Great job on this.

It wasn't shown, but once again on the Big Bang Theory Sheldon mentioned "Star Wars LEGOs". I'm wondering when/if he'll mention and/or showcase the Superheroes line, it's right up his alley.

The Architecture series is a good place to look. The SSD came our recently, so you have awhile there. The other two, I'm guessing, aren't going to be around much longer. I'm surprised the Death Star is still available, to be honest. The Tower Bridge should be around a bit longer.

I'm jealous! I was hoping the local store I went to last week had those fences...I need more for my houses.

That is impressive! Great job with the addition there. There's been some awesome MODs of bigger modulars lately, but I think this takes the cake. Now to see this in a town setting.

Without a doubt. The Mini Modulars just came out last month, so you should have plenty of time there. The Town plan is much better than the construction site as well.

First off, welcome back! Your plan for buying the Modulars sounds like a good game plan. You worn regret buying them, they're awesome.

Maybe that's my problem. On a side note, I love your MOCs. Edit: hooray for post count 1932! Edit, part deux: I'm happy, frustrated, exhausted and finger pain. I bag built Mini FB. I think I chose the wrong one to do, so many 1x1s stacked on each other. I feel accomplished though, and a better AFOL for it.
