These are really neat. The mama deer could use a makeover, in my opinion. I thought it was a donkey.

Another great, comical review Mr. O'P! Pictures are top notch, as usual. This was one of the MF sets on my shopping list, along with the Castle and Graveyard sets. But, the double VIP points with the group buy tempted me to no end. So, I gave in and bought, I was going to buy the MF team anyways.

Oh, I thought it was nerd talk(Geonosian or some such). I've looked over this again and looked for something more to say. I've already gave my opinions on the beasts, but the Acklay certainly is bigger than I thought it was. The model is so simple, yet clearly it's not. I mean, it's just a rock wall. You made it so much more by giving it all the different shapes and sizes. The stalactites of different size add to it. That balcony is just amazing with the pieces you used. Your piece usage is always top notch and it really shows here. With the few colors used you gave it so much texture by using the slope pieces and cylinder pieces. Adding the dark strip in-between the light broke it up nicely. The use of tiles on part of the ground, which I took for a shadow, is brilliant. How was that?

About $3K+ a TC-14. Most expensive set was 10195 at $250.

That's not a real big bummer. A War Machine fig would be nice. No. No. And no. it's hard enough as is getting the sets I want in a year, I couldn't handle two more waves of DC/Marvel in-between the other releases.

I'm going with 3A. This is an ambitious project that I'm looking forward to seeing.

And it's a good thing he has the robotic arm so he could actually hold it.

It's not just PotC that aren't up to par with the movie. There's that in every theme. Avengers have a big thread going on about it. LotR has one going on. Nothing ever is 100% to the source material. PotC was a great theme with great sets and figs.

First off all, that clone with the bow is just hilarious! You sir, are very skilled. The photos are brilliant, as is the subject matter. The builds are awesome. The first one with Anakin looking out the window...it really feels like I'm there. Actually, the whole set makes you feel like you're in the room(s). The walls in the Jedi Temple are great, I stared at the first pictures forever just admiring the finer details. Clever way to make the chairs the Jedi sit on, about as accurate as you can get.

That's a good argument against Weathertop. But, at least the make more sense in a spaceship than in a tower ruin. In 9448 Samurai Mech they have a firing cannon that works quite well.

Yeah, that's going to be your best bet. Unless you can find 10194 Emerald Night for a not too much price. That's a great train.

They suggested raising the bar for licensed projects, not Cuusoo in general. I think people just need to think and use common sense before clicking submit. Of course, theres always the chance that the creator of this project is a new AFOL and may not be aware of the Hasbro issue. But, then theres the 10K supporters, of which I'm sure some, a lot really, were AFOLs. I didn't vote for this and I mentioned in the comments(along with others) that this wouldn't get approved despite it being a good project.

That is the plan, anyways.

Actually, Tiin in the JSF set has a CW face. So, Palpys Arrest is technically exclusive. Aren't all the Jedi minus Ani and Kit exclusive?

I'll bet a big part of those votes came from kids. I read some of the comments, you can just tell. I read more than once, "this is the best project ever/on cuusoo/ever." which, obviously, is hardly the case. It's a neat idea and all, I'd buy a clone bucket without question, but any AFOL knew this wouldn't pass.

I was wondering what's up with so many manuals in one set? Take 5887 for example, there's one book for the little jeep. One for the little helicopter. Then, just the one for the whole HQ(which was nice). Why not at least, put both vehicles in one. Or, better yet, just put them all on one book.

This won't happen. Factory/DesignByMe no longer exists. Plus, only Market Street was under the Factory banner. All the others aren't.
