  1. That is great. Its like a partner in crime. You Sir, are lucky.
  2. Saw a few lately. Madagascar 3-loved it! The usual suspects were just as funny as usual(King Julien and the penguins ), neat story, 3D is great. That's My Boy-crude, rude, gross and hilarious. Best part apart it, if you're a kid of the 90's, Vanilla Ice. I loved that they referenced his lyrics in there a few times. See it. Word to your motha'.
  3. You make some really good suggestions for minifigs. I'd like to see a fat bellied minifigs.
  4. It turns out my set has the same issue. After doing the flashlight test. I didn't even notice a difference in the bricks either. I wouldn't let it stop you from buying the set...just don't build with a flashlight and you'll be fine.
  5. I've seen these on eBay before, but not the R2-D2. That's cool! It's even motion activated?
  6. Me neither. Let's hope it's not TOO expensive.
  7. I'm sorry, but this comment made me chuckle a bit. Just because you think a set is bad doesn't mean it doesn't deserve special treatment... I remember a lot of people liking the set, probably just as many dislikes.
  8. With the list you have, I'd really get both 10211 Grand Emporium and 10225 R2-D2. I really can't decide on the two, they're both such great sets. But, if I had to choose one, I suppose I'd go with 10211 just because it's going first.
  9. I think this is an isolated issue. I built 9466 last week and it looked fine. I checked after reading that brickset article, and it felt fine. I have yet to do the flashlight test, but I will. I was pretty disappointed at reading the comments. Blaming China. One person even dare say it was a "sneaky move" by TLG. Come on.
  10. That. Is. Awesome. Wow, that thing is huge! It looks very official. I really like the build, it looks very swooshable and sturdy. The nose/cockpit area looks cool. Do those different colored missiles mean anything?
  11. I built it recently, while the car is certainly strange and squat, the bulk of the set is pretty cool. The lightning rod on top, to the laser beam below, it has an almost steampunk look to it. That whole tower is cool and the light brick really adds a lot. I recommend getting it.
  12. That is awesome! Another great model MOOD. I would NOT hesitate to buy this if I saw it on the shelf. I'm a fan.
  13. What's this savings that you speak of?
  14. I've heard that before, "buy 2, one to open and one to keep." I'll direct this to Artifex(and generally, of course) since you mentioned it there. What's your reasoning for buying one to keep MISB? Do you plan on selling years down the road? Saving for your kids? Just because?
  15. I just watched the video over at tbb and saw this display, and wow! That is a great job guys. All the little islands and that huge fort. And of course, the sea monster, amazing!
  16. I see theres been some name changes among some staff... Is this another elaborate joke to throw off our society? Or a deceptive coincidence?
  17. Good review. I too got this set, when buying 10225 R2-D2. I haven't opened it yet, however. It's quite a cool little set and plane.
  18. Chicka-chicka-yeah. Nice prizes Ricecr...er, McLovin.
  19. Wow, what a great assortment of cars, my favorite being the scaled down 10220, complete with interior. The movie cars are great, too.
  20. I really like how this fits with other Modulars. Simple, yet really creative. Great building, hihly detailed nterior. Love this brick built bikes. That owner isn't very safety orientated, doing a burnout like that. Great job and good luck!
  21. Even better, someone needs to MOC a Rat Fink into it.
  22. Due out in August. I haven't read anywhere of it's exclusivity...
  23. Very nice! Even a motorized carriage, old school monorail tracks, definite for that.
  24. I hope not. I haven't got it yet.
