I was curious about the color change too. It still sounds like Red is getting a small vehicle, though. But, if Billy is getting fired already...that's going to drive me overcthe edge!

On the preliminary Chi Temple, where they show the cannon, is that a new sword mold clipped to the wall? It looks different.

Take a step back. The video for 10224 was better than this one. I don't think he was attacking her ability to speak English, the video just doesn't seem to have opts usual pizzazz. You make quite a few assumptions here.

REVIEW : 8075 Neptune Carrier
Vindicare replied to daoudbazaar's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes. Definitely a set worth getting. The end result is a cool sub. Haven't built it in a while, so I can't comment on the build. But, it was one set I kept built and on display since I bought it when it originally came out. -
This is great! Although for a more appropriate scale, I'd say it was Chibi. I like that it has all the charm of the full size Bag End.

MicroFig Asajj Ventress and MicroFig Scale Trident
Vindicare replied to Rook's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Trident is awesome, but that Ventress is...odd. The big head with pratcically non existent body is definitely creepy. -
Excellent! Another Blog Interview. I always enjoy reading these.

Ok...once again, do you have numbers to back up you saying they failed? Who's to say that isn't how LEGO does things? Introduce new Action themes each year. If you have the sales figures for the last few years Action themes, I'd like to see, because I loved and bought them all.

Genius!

Once again you've done it! Just like the X-Wing, you took the details everyone knows from the TIE and put it into a Gundam. That face is terrifying! It has the same menacing feel that Vader does. The wait was well worth it. Great 'Epic Battle' photo, too!

Awesome! Now, let's see 10218, 10224 & 10232 in real brick with 10230!
-
You've done it again! How about adding 10218 Pet Shop to your list? Then that'll be an up to date mini modularation.

Ah ha, that could be the answer. It's been a while since I've seen Thor, but looking at Google, it does look a lot like that. I suppose I have my answer then.

There's been plenty of one and dones lately. Alien Conquest and Pharaohs Quest to name a few. Monster Fighters seems to be in the same boat as well. Kingdoms had a wave and a half you could say. I have no numbers on any of these themes that were so short lived, but it seems to be the norm for Action themes of recent years.

I'd like to know how you're going to sort printed pieces. Whenever I look at drawers and such for sorting, printed pieces always throws me for a loop and stops me. Theres so many printed pieces that are set specific, that it makes it hard to sort.

Ooh! I can't wait. Even if it is 10232, that's fine. I want the Designer Video! We can get a much better look at the set.

Everything associated with minifigs accessories are oversized. Look at skateboards and food. Turkey legs are the size of their heads, as are most foods. They have to make them larger(I'm assuming) that way kids will be able to easily grasp them and put them in the figs hand and not lose them. I can't stand the size of accessories...but have learned to deal with it.

Great new shots General, Plissken & Nemo! I love the snowy shot with all the Fellowship, General. Plissken, that Riddles in the Dark is awesome, love the angle of the shot. And Nemo, that Frodo hot highlighting the Ring completely draws your attention to the Ring. It has me saying, " My Precioussssss"

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
Vindicare replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow! That castle is fantastic! You are just blowing everyone else who've made a medieval diorama out of the water. I don't even know what to say on these updates anymore. I can't manage to pick up my jaw on the floor. -
After watching The Avengers a few days ago, I can't help but wonder about the awful(inaccuracies terms) scepter they gave Loki. I'm wondering that maybe the fault of it lies in the concept art that was given to the TLG designers? We know they get some info before it was public knowledge, and maybe this scepter we have in the sets we have now is the one they originally were going with... Sorry for the bit of digging here, just had me curious. Thought maybe someone had more insight.

Capt. Nemo, that Iron Man shot is awesome! Nice job.

I think the nunchuks in 79104 Shellraiser Street Chase to be just fine and a lot closer to a real set of 'chuks than the one in 79100 Kraang Lab Escape.
-
Now THAT would be awesome! I loved Voltron as a kid, I could see each lion being a set and combining.
-
I don't get why they have two style of nunchuks. The one in 79104 Shellraiser Street Chase are better than the brown tube ones.
