I know this has been asked a million times(and will get merged), but I searched and found a few solutions. One says bowl of bleach, leave in a week or so. Another in the same thread said lukewarm soapy water. I thought I remember Oxiclean. Now, do I have to soak pieces in a bowl or can I use a toothbrush to clean them without taking the set apart? I'm having issues with light bley pieces in my Modulars, and of course, white.

Well, after my large purchase today and according to Brickset, I have 1354 minifigs now.

It's 30242 Republic Frigate polybag with $75(US).

With numbered bags I like to separate all the like pieces into their own little sections. With unnumbered bags, I just go the bag puke route. It seems with big sets that aren't numbered, they divide the pieces up pretty good so there isn't much searching.

I went with your last option when I bought Turtles sets. You get all 4 Turtles, 2 main villains, Shredder, a Kraang and 3 Foot. Great assortment.

This was/is me when it comes to TRU and markups. I don't know how much extra money I've spent at that store. Yet, I find myself going back time and time again.

On a somewhat related note to this comment. On the tv show Shark Tank, this exact thing happened to a woman and her product. She had something like 70% of her business swiped from these bootleggers. The manufacturer was even behind it all.

Very impressive. I like the MOC buildings you have there too. Although the scale is off, I like the use of those Shell exclusive e Ferraris.you certainly have a lot packed into a little space. I also like that your roads are too cluttered with vehicles and has a lot of people going about. Gives you much more to look at, seeing all the little scenes playing out.

Looking at the photos, it does look rather sticker heavy. 70705 Bug Obliterator has a lot too.

Can't say I'm familiar with the gun(PS3 for the win:grin:). The gun looks pretty awesome though.

Legends of Chima - Which faction are you?

I voted Wolves. Because real wolves are awesome and the Chima wolves have kick a** vehicles. -
Very cool! Being an enormous HP fan, I always enjoy the MOCs. This is spot on to how the story started. I love everything about it, the archway, the bridge, base & tree. Everything is well built and looks great. Fantastic work.

Great scene! I remember it well. I love your parking meters. The faces for the Turtles are perfect for the scene. The building facade is well done too and has some nice details. Good luck in the contest.

I hope they just move the series to XD...not to iTunes/DVD. I don't want to have to buy something I saw for free. -
What if you had a machine that could make any LEGO piece, set, or mini
Vindicare replied to ToastyLlama's topic in Community
I'd make clones. Lots and lots of clones. Plain white, 501st, 212th. Whenever LEGO releases more clone variants, I'd buy one set and then produce more of my own to save money buying multiples. Then I'd make a proper Viszla helmet, Bo Katan(assuming we don't see her in the next year(not likely now unfortunately)) and a few dozen Mandos, a few more 9525 Pre Viszlas Mandalorian Speeder and that carrier ship from CW that has the troop holder that drops down and has all the Mandos in it(a la MTT). Oh, and definitely more straight street baseplates. I hate having all the extra four way intersections... Or I'd make a lot of black tiles of various sizes to make brick built streets. 2x4 dark bley tiles for sidewalks. -
I still want to see this Vader with an assortment of hats on. I'm just imagining a dapper Darth in a top hat.

Well, since you say that, I'd scrape together a few more bucks and buy both 10937 Arkham Asylum Breakout & 76001 The Bat vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase. I have the latter set and while the vehicles are small, they're both well built and great looking. Of course the figs are excellent. I've seen 10937 on display at the LEGO store and it really is a cool set. Plus, we probably won't ever see the prong jumper Joker again.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

It will certainly be interesting to see what/if Disney does to the LEGO license. They've den a lot of changes/holds thus far(I was SO looking forward to Detours). But, I assume the relationship is pretty solid, what with all the Disney licensed themes over the years. They even have a LEGO store in one of their parks. -
They'll most likely be $4.99 at TRU, although that was for 30212 Mirkwood Elf, so unlicensed may be cheaper. I think I've seen others for $3.49.

Looks like you've been taking pointers from ACPin. I like what I see so far, hurry up and show the rest.

You can navigate it from the website. I did it once before for pieces I lost from 10184 Town Plan. I don't remember exactly, but I thnk you gotta go to the shop section, then at the bottom there's a clickable "replacement(or missing) parts". There you choose replacement parts, enter the set number, a list of the parts will show up. Find the part, put in the number of pieces you want and a$ total should come up once you finish up.

All the guys look quite nervous that she's gonna break it. The guy on the right side of the photo(the background one) looks like he's about to pounce on her due to fear of her messing something up.
