  1. I wish LEGO would bring back the "starter sets". Those were great ways to bulk up the minifig collection (e.g. some of the new torso and etc from whatever line of sets the "starter set" went with) on the cheap. Or maybe LEGO has evidence that "kids dont like those sets anymore"...
  2. Thanks for that script, its really useful.
  3. I would love a classic 80s black Lamborghini Contach (whatever model it is you see at the start of Cannonball Run would be epic) More Lamborghini supercars in general would be good, especially a single-car pack at a cheaper price point than the current double-car pack. McLaren F1 definitely. A Chevy El-Camino or similar GM pickup truck (car-derived) will probably never happen but would be awesome to see. Definitely a Tesla of any sort (although somehow I doubt that would happen either) Classic jag (d-type or e-type or something)
  4. Does anyone know the right part number for the 1 x 1 round white rice print tile from the CNY dinner and if its available (or if its been available before)?
  5. Unless its Duplo, any Lion King product would be "shut up and take my money" no question. As would any other sets with interesting new animal molds (Jungle Book, Tarzan etc)
  6. They wouldn't have greenlit Sesame Street unless they had all the licensing in place. Whether Sesame Street or Pirate Bay shows up first will likely depend on how many recolors (i.e. parts in colors that don't exist right now or existed previously but aren't in production and need a new production run) and prints need to be made for each set. EDIT: I forget that Sesame Street may take longer to design due to the need to get approval from the IP holder for the finished design so maybe Pirate Bay will show up first. The International Space Station is definitely the next one to come out though.
  7. I just finished building the Steamboat Willie and whilst the paddle wheels turn just fine when I move the vehicle along the smokestacks don't move properly. I have triple checked the steps where you build the base of the smokestacks and the bits that hold those bases in place and I dont see anything I could have done wrong. Anyone got any ideas?
  8. Looks like I should get that order in soon before all the good bits are snapped up by everyone :)
  9. Have the trophy pieces in new colors (from the CNY set) actually been available for sale or have they been "out of stock" since they showed up?
  10. I will check my B&P order carefully and if I see any price increases I will be sure to complain to LEGO :)
  11. I think what Tusserte is saying is that the price you see in B&P (and when you check out of B&P) is different to the price you see when you actually complete the order (and that you see under "order summary") and that you should check your order to make sure they haven't overcharged you.
  12. There is a rumor going around that the last Arctic line was supposed to get another set (that was never released). Said rumor also suggested that the set was going to include some sort of whale.
  13. I will be sure to check any order I place and if anything has gone up in price I will complain.
  14. Safari/Zoo would be great. (more animals is never a bad thing) And if deep sea returns as the explore sub theme for this year (as has been rumored) there is every chance we could get that whale that was supposed to be in the Arctic sets but got canceled.
  15. Now its all showing up as available :) Even the new motorbike faring (both colors) is for sale. And a few I never would have expected like the arcade cabinets from Ninjago and the non-printed story book parts from Disney Princess. Even the 2 x 2 music note tile from the Ariel set is available (the one where the notes play the start of the Disney theme song) Now all I need is for my funds to recover after the Bricklink order I placed yesterday (which I probably wouldn't have placed if B&P had all the parts in stock then that they do now including the 1 x 2 grille tile in tan that was the #1 reason for making the order) and the new graphics card I bought recently and I can do a B&P order full of good stuff. Although I gotta make sure I don't buy any parts that are in sets that I intend to buy (unless having more of that part than comes in the set is desirable)
  16. A cricket player in the CMF would absolutely make sense given how many people on this planet (even kids) like the sport and I am surprised we haven't gotten one yet.
  17. I am still waiting for things like the white "dog poop", the white banana, the teal wheel arch, the bright purple electric guitar, the 1 x 3 x 3 window in tan, the sand green fishing hat and a bunch of new (and definitely not licensed) figure parts. (including stuff from City sets) Anyone want to predict (based on previous years) how likely it is that the parts from the new Ninjago sets (like the game controller sword hilts or some of the new headgear) will become available on Bricks & Pieces?
  18. A few new-for-2020 pieces seem to be appearing on B&P now including the cake topper pieces from the Friends baking contest and what seems to be all the new-for-2020 parts from that Technic app-controlled car. None of the really good stuff seems to be available yet though.
  19. BrickLink is a much better place to look for it :)
  20. POTC is different and LEGO's rules only apply to alcohol in a modern context (so alcohol in settings like Pirates or Castle or Western are OK) Bender is a lot more associated with alcohol (and other things LEGO doesn't like such as gambling and smoking and sex and bad language) than any of the Simpsons characters they made. I am not saying its impossible that LEGO will make the Futurama set, I am just saying that if I was LEGO I would choose other projects that have less risk of controversy or complaints (especially given the limited number of Ideas sets they green-light and the projects available for them to pick that are less controversial)
  21. I still don't get why people think a show where one of the main characters literally has to drink alcohol to survive is appropriate for LEGO...
  22. The International Space Station is the next Ideas set to be released. After that, we have 3 that have been greenlit but not released (Pirate Bay, Piano, Sesame Street) and we have no way to know which one is next. Its entirely possible The Pirate Bay wont show up until the second half of the year if the other 2 get released first.
  23. Duck Tales sets would be cool and with the new cartoon, there is definitely scope for it. Vehicles are an option as well (like whatever plane Launchpad flies or the luxury vehicle Scrooge uses to get around)
  24. Bear in mind that we ARE getting a Soccer Stadium d2c this year based on the leaks out there.
  25. In terms of the plumbers stuff we did get https://brickset.com/sets/60073-1/Service-Truck And we also got the Flying Flusher in the LEGO Movie line (perfectly usable in a City setting IMO)
