  1. We get enough MCU figures in the sets. I want figures we aren't likely to see in the sets (preferably characters that haven't had figs at all)
  2. This video shows a technique for indoor restoration (in this case old computers but I suspect the yellowed LEGO might be the same)
  3. Yeah the single arrow is for sale, the double arrow isn't.
  4. What printed sign pieces have been for sale?
  5. If the rumors are true and we get Marvel CMFs, that would be the perfect time to include lesser-seen Marvel characters (including X-Men or Fantastic Four) similar to how the DC CMF contained lesser-seen characters (or variants) and still seemed to have sold quite well from my observation.
  6. I think its clear from the newer better pictures that the tram is unfortunately still Bright Light Orange...
  7. Its just interesting that they have gone to "not for sale" rather than just "out of stock"
  8. Ok yeah that makes sense now.
  9. Many years ago TLG produced a Creator set called the "Cool Cruiser". At some point after they had shipped a few container loads of the set to Australia it was discovered that the set was highly unstable and prone to fall apart when picked up. TLG then went back and re-designed the set and re-issued it. But rather than ship all the sets that were in Australia back to the factory to be repackaged, LEGO dumped all the parts and gave parts to LEGO clubs. I have a large tub full of assorted "cool cruiser" parts, If they have a bunch of Osprey's that got made but aren't going to be sold/shipped they could do the same (unpack them, recycle the box and instructions and stuff via whatever is appropriate and dump all the parts randomly and give them to LEGO clubs alongside the other random parts they seem to give out to LEGO clubs) At the very least one good option for unsold battery boxes (either those pulled from unsold Osprey sets or those made and assembled but not actually put into sets yet) could be to make a new accessory pack similar to how they already sell the Technic hub via set 88012. That would allow them to get a return on the investment in the tooling they made for that battery box.
  10. I have just about finished my wish list for parts (which I will then narrow down into an actual order) and while looking up some things I notice that the 1 x 1 round plate in dark blue (TLG earth blue) as used in the new Iron Man and Sith mosaics is showing up as "no results" (which usually means "its licensed and not for sale at all"). Interesting that a part as basic as the 1 x 1 round plate in earth blue would be totally unavailable for sale (not just "out of stock" or something). Thankfully I own the only set previously to include the 1 x 1 round plate in earth blue (the Scorpion Palace) so I dont need any myself for my goal of collecting every known color of 1 x 1 round plate) All of the other colors in both Sith and Iron Man are showing up as purchaseable (although the sand blue and dark orange are out of stock right now which sucks since I wanted a few of each color for my collection) Just intersting that for some reason a part that basic is apparently not to be sold on B&P at all.
  11. I thought there was no more Fox and that it was all part of Disney now with the Fox name disappearing (and Marvel Studios taking over all the Marvel content). Or has Disney decided to keep what used to be the 20th Century Fox film studio (and all the Marvel stuff Fox had the rights to) totally separate from Marvel Studios and their other film production (and if so I wonder why they haven't just given all the Marvel stuff Fox had over to Marvel Studios which would make more sense, let the creative people who have been so successful with the MCU make whatever X-Men films are comming next and make the X-Men just another part of the Marvel film catalog at the same level as the MCU films in the same way as Pixar films like Cars and Disney films like Frozen are both treated equally by the guys at the top of the whole thing)
  12. I would like to see a passenger train with more of a flat front (and different interior) similar to what you might see on the New York Subway or the London Underground.
  13. Has anyone here ordered any of the Mario parts and if so, what did you order and how did you decide what to order? (its got so many cool parts but at the same time given that I am not building any Mario MOCs and dont plan to get into the Mario theme or buy the starter kit, when would I ever use parts like the Pipe and Koopa Shell and enemy feet?)
  14. I dont know what it was like elsewhere but the few X-Men sets we have gotten over the years have been nearly impossible to find here in Australia. If that's true elsewhere (and they didn't see wide release and stuff compared to the Avengers stuff) that would explain the poor sales.
  15. Friends already got a hot dog van (which is dead simple to make work in a City context) and City got a Donut Shop last year, lets see something different, something we haven't seen before :)
  16. I want to see some more retail stores in LEGO City. How about a hardware store? (perhaps with a handyman who builds and fixes things) Or more variety of fast food/food trucks. How about a taco/Mexican truck? Or a place doing chicken wings? Or a Chinese restaurant? Or a Barbecue joint? Or even a Fish & Chip shop or seafood restaurant? How about a butcher or bakery? Or maybe more medical facilities? I dont think we have seen a LEGO optometrist before, that would be neat to see (all those glasses-wearing minifigs have to get their glasses from somewhere) Or what about a music shop? (they have enough instruments these days to pull it off plus they could make something new for it like a violin) Or a nursery full of plants (imagine how many copies they would sell to people looking for plans to bulk up their layouts with :)
  17. Anyone know if the white cow horn from Barracuda Bay is available and what part number to use?
  18. I wish LEGO would make a set with that giant underwater dinosaur (the one you see in the movies eating a great white shark in a single gulp). That would be awesome to see and I am surprised we haven't gotten one given how cool they look.
  19. I want to see LEGO do a police crime lab or crime scene set. They can find a way to do it without needing to touch subjects that are a problem such as violence or murder or drugs. You could have a black SUV (if TV has taught me anything, its that crime scene guys drive around in big black SUVs) and maybe a guy with dark sunglasses on.
  20. I seriously doubt the parts exclusive to the Osprey will shop up on Bricks & Pieces (at least not unless they end up in another set that is).
  21. Don't forget some of the weirder NES add-ons. Power Glove anyone? Or if you want to combine 2 recent sets into one, you could always buy the Piano ideas set and use it as a base to replicate another weird NES accessory, the Miracle Piano Teaching System (which was basically a music keyboard that plugged into a bunch of systems including the NES and then software to teach you how to play keyboard/piano).
  22. It will be interesting to see what happens to produced-but-not-delivered Osprey sets (or more specifically to the parts inside them). And to the parts exclusive to the Osprey that got made but didn't end up in bags/boxes yet at the time of the decision to cancel the set (especially the battery box)
  23. Just a heads up that most of the special parts from the new mosaic art sets are available from B&P including the giant brick separator, the 16x16 back piece and the special hanger piece. Although the 16x16 element costs nearly $10 here in Australia so it wont be cheap if you were thinking of buying just the backing parts and building your own mosaic (may as well just buy the entire mosaic art set at that point). All of the 1x1 round parts are listed as for sale (although some are out of stock). Only the 2x4 printed tiles are not showing up at all.
  24. What parts are listed by that website but not by Brickset?
  25. The City Passenger train nose piece in bright-light-orange.
