I have sails from the reissue Black Seas Barracuda, the green wing pieces from the green dragon creator set, sail from the orient expedition chinese junk set, tent from the Indy camp set and the roof from the Shanghai Chase. These have been kept in a closed plastic container along with some other regular parts. They are clean and flat. How can I keep these sails and cloth bits in good condition so they last as long as the rest of my LEGO?

Its only just been released, I am sure it will be more widely available from all sorts of sources in the near future.

If the HALO license is real, LEGO needs to take the guy who designed the Mutt Williams bike in Indiana Jones and let them design the Light Cycles. EDIT: That should have read "TRON license" not "HALO license"

I just got hold of a 2x2 clear tile and want to build a photocopier (for my car dealer). Has anyone built one before and does anyone have any design tips to make one look realistic?

I have so far been able to build every set in the impulse size in the bag (including the manta ray, Atlantis diver and Traveler) Now I just need to wait for the Pig Farmer plus both Kingdoms impulses to be released :)

Where do you see information about "build a minifig". The only thing I can see that refers to building is the TRU link which is to build a bunny with a picture of the bunny (and says limit 1 per customer) -
Nice police helicopter, I may have to pinch some of the ideas for my own such craft when I finally get around to building one :)

If anyone wants the Atlantis diver impulse, the Atlantis bad guy impulse or the traveler impulse, I spotted (and bought) all 3 in the Toyworld store in Armadale. Same store also had Ben 10. Price for the impulses was 4.99 each. No sign of the pig farmer impulse (I dont think its available anywhere in the world yet) -

Is the Power Miners jail set out yet or is it comming later? -
My guess is that they are supposed to remove the licenced parts (more specifically the figs and fig accessories as those seem to be the main parts that are considered "licenced") from the bags but occasionally a part slips through.

Nice MOC, reminds me a lot of Lord Of The Rings (the old cripple guy reminds me of Gandalf)

LEGO used so many tractors since kids associate tractors with farming. 4x4s and pickup trucks, not so much.
-
Nice review, I think this is one of the best of series one and I cant wait to get my hands on one.
-
You need a Combine Harvester to go with that tractor :)

Anyone know of a release date for Price Of Persia and/or which stores will be stocking it? -
Review: Amazing Armory (Hazel) Guitar Set
jonwil replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Those guitars look great, I wish I could order a set but I cant use PayPal. Lets hope those guys can get an Australian reseller sometime soon :) -
Me, I hope they dont end the line before they make some sheep. Then I can LUGBULK order some and build some MOCs of my uncles sheep station :)

I saw a sign in a DJs yesterday that clearly said LEGO on it. Didn't actually see any LEGO that looked like it was on discount (no Fire Brigades either) -
Some Classic Space sets had stickers IIRC (the Beta-1 Command Base had a flag with planet logo stickers for one and I think there may have been classic space astronauts with stickers at once point) I think the "space diver" started out life (alongside a few other sets from various themes) as a promo set, hence the wierd number and late release. As for Ice Planet 2002 as a theme, I think its the BEST space theme ever. The Deep Freeze Defender was the largest space set I had as a kid. And I was recently able to obtain the last parts I needed to be Ice Planet Complete (including the large ice baseplate and the orange corner panels) Thanks for the links to those Ice Planet MOCs, the use of those corner panels as sails on the boat has given me the perfect idea if I ever build my planned "Black Star Barracuda" (as I have a pair of those panels in trans-dark-blue and some hulls in brown. Pitty the hulls never came in black)

The farmer impulse looks like a good way to get pigs if you don't want the entire pig farm and tractor set.

My vote goes to the 10194 Emerald Night, best train set ever. And its the best source of Dark Green to date (I can imagine how much effort must have gone into convincing the "powers that be" to allow the molding of all those parts in Dark Green that weren't otherwise being molded in the color) Plus the train wheels (the wheels are also comming in the Toy Story train but you only get the flanged drivers in that set and not the blind drivers)
-
My guess is that they will be exclusive to MYER for a period of time and then available everywhere else later. Similar to how the pirate sets were exclusive to Target for a while and then appeared in other stores later.

Looks nice, I wish I could afford the Grand Emporium :( Much better piece selection than the Fire Brigade IMO.

Annoyed missing part
jonwil replied to Dennis's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Go to LEGO Customer Service and they have an option where you can request replacement pieces for the pieces that are missing. You will need to know the number from the inventory page in the instruction manual matching to the parts that are missing. -
The likely reason they do this for track (and the road-plates) is because it allows them to have one less product. Given that LEGO (for all kinds of business reasons) has limits on the number of active products they can have (and the number of new products they can release each year) combining the straight and curved track frees up a SKU for a set in Star Wars or some other theme.
