If you can get to it, Morley Target had plenty in stock as of yesterday. Don't waste your time checking Big W or K-Mart, it seems like the only places to have stock so far are Toyworld and Target.

Great MOC, at that scale the purple bear looks like he would be a fit for the mascot of somewhere aimed at kids (e.g. a Toy Store mascot ala the Toys R Us giraffe or e.g. a mascot for some kind of family entertainment/dining venue ala Ronald McDonald or the Chuck E Cheese mouse)

I used the "feel the bag" trick today and got 4 for 4 (nurse, astronaut, skater, diver) Now I have a co-pilot/gunner for my new space fighter MOC :)

The recent "wind turbine transport" set seems pretty Eco-friendly to me.

This house is a MUCH better house than the Apple Tree House. I will definitely be getting one of these when they hit .au :) Only real negative in the set is the choice of hair for the female.

Hit MYER, DJs and Target in Perth CBD plus Target in Victoria Park. No sign of any TS3 or collectible minifigs at any of those. MYER perth CBD had one Endor in stock (didnt catch a price tag) MYER did have a "Toy Story" section but the TS3 sets weren't there either. I didnt carry out an exhaustive search of the Target stores for the figs but no sign in the lego aisle or in the area near the checkouts where the chocolate bars normally are. If anyone has seen the collectible figs anywhere in Perth at a cheaper price than the $4 Toyworld Midland had them for, please post here.

LEGO has done this before with the Soccer sets which came with different sets for the stands, lights etc.

Given that most pictures show the palm one, my guess is that the flower one was a preliminary design and the palm one is what will be in the bag when you get it.

The new 2 x 2 window is cool, it looks just like the 1 x 2 x 2 airplane window but with an arch top hole instead of a square hole.

Not happy that all the City stuff (fire etc) is an August release :( (lets hope someone like K-mart has them in the June toy sales, if not I may need to order some from across the pond in NZ or something like I did last year with the City Corner and Indiana Jones Cemetery set). Also, does anyone know of an actual release date or a list price for the Grand Emporium? (which is supposedly comming to David Jones). Particularly interested to know if it is likely to be sold for less than Shop @ Home is selling it for. Could it be that Target has an official date when they are supposed to start selling these (chosen by Target corporate) and stores arent supposed to have them on the shelf yet?

Yeah, Midland had 2 almost full boxes when I was there today. Not only that, the guy who helped me knew about the bar-codes before I even started looking. Sold me 2 skaters, 1 astronaut, 1 magician and 1 cowboy (which is all I can afford at this time) Whitfords (the only other store I rang before I got to Midland) said "no we dont have stock yet but we will probably be getting in some by the end of the month or so" No sign of the minifigs in the lego isles (or checkout areas) of any of the stores at Midland Gate or Morley Galaria including the TRU at Morley (or anything else new or notable for that matter) My guess is that the Pig Farm will appear at Big W in time for the mid-year Big W sale (similar to how the wind turbine transport appeared last year)

A full database of all known lego stores, broken down by city/state would be great, as would an up-to-date price comparison database so you can just plug a set into the database and see which store has it the cheapest.

Its not an actor, its clearly a martial artist with a black-belt (who would have looked better with say some nunchuks instead of the statue) Also you forgot the Mexican and the ringmaster from your list.

Is the new wall panel the same piece as is found in the pirate soldiers fort?

Great to know that the minifigures are now available. Will have to call up a few Toyworlds and see who has stock. Any tips on what I should say regarding the use of the bar-code (or feel in the bag) methods so that I dont get strange looks/questions from the Toyworld employees?

Of note from bag 6 is what seems to be a new trapdoor piece (sitting next to the minifig in the picture) as well as another use of part 47507 (Cockpit 6 x 6 x 2 Cabin Base with Technic Holes) in Dark Bley (it has to date only been seen in yellow in a 4 juniors set and in black in a Bionicle and an Alpha Team set)

Hard to tell from the pictures but if the hair on Jean is dark red, it came from the 8970 Robo Attack.
