Knowing MYER they wont price match because A.Its a blanket %off sale and not a discount on the specific item and B.Target doesn't have the item in question in stock. I haven't seen any store that will price match unless the the store with the lower price actually has it in stock. Of course, if Target DOES have it in stock (which I doubt because they dont want to sell S4 figs at 20% off when they have shelves overflowing with S3 figs no-one wants :) I will just go there and buy it :)

Lets hope that means I can go to MYER Perth in the next few days and pick some up during 20% off...

Is it just me or is the Artists Palette REALLY loose when held in the hand of the minifig? In fact, I suspect the looseness of the piece is why it went missing somewhere between buying the fig and getting it home (meaning I now need to buy another artist if I want a palette)

Bricklink cites the Coffee Cup as first appearing in 1979 so I doubt there is anything earlier. Also worth cataloging would be all sets to feature soda/soft drink machines and all sets to feature water coolers. For the water coolers, both of the last 2 police stations had one IIRC. The most recent airport had a soda machine IIRC.

The new 7498 Police Station has a coffee machine in it, as does the new 7288 Police Command Truck. The 3812 Airport has one. As does the 7208 Fire Station and the 7945 Fire Station. The new 4644 Marina looks to have one too. Thats just from going through some of the recent City sets.

Went out today. DJs Perth CBD had 20% off but no stock of note. MYER Perth CBD had nothing interesting. Nothing of note at Target in Fremantle or K-Mart in Kardinia either. BUT... Toyworld in Fremantle had the Fire Brigade modular at 200 bucks (down from the usual 300 bucks) and they had quite a few of them. The REALLY BIG news though is that they ALSO had most of a box of S4 minifigs on the counter with a price tag of 4.95 each. I am now the proud owner of a Punk Rocker, a Mad Scientist, a Hazmat Guy and an Artist. So if you want Minifigs series 4, give your local Toyworld store a buzz.

What do you mean new Atlantis sets? The new Atlantis sets (Atlantis Temple etc) have been out for months now.

It wouldn't surprise me if the big retailers (Target etc) are holding off on releasing Series 4 minifigures for a while because of the large amount of Series 3 still out there in the stores. Last thing a big retailer wants to do is to release something new when the previous item is still widely available.

Went to Joondalup today. The shelves at K-Mart were bare, very little stock at all. Both Big W and Target had all 4 City space sets (rover, van, shuttle and launch pad) plus the new technic sets like the red sports car and the yellow backhoe loader. Not a whole lot at TRU although if you want one of the TRU trucks, now is a good time to grab one (Joondalup had a few in stock as well as a couple of modular fire stations plus the fire combo pack with the most recent City fire station) Also plenty of S3 figs out and about if you still need any. Currently waiting for Series 4 figs plus the K-Mart exclusive City bank robbery set.

Anyone here know when and where Series 4 minifigs are supposed to hit?

Now I have even more excuse to go shopping tomorrow (the new KFC Double Down and the fact that I need a new pillow being the other excuses :)

If you wait for Series 5 minifigures, you can get the red boxing gloves to use for Balrog

Some interesting parts there (like the brown and blue ice-cream scoops, the red ray gun, the torso on the Glove World guy and the Crabby Patty formula printed tile).

For those in Perth wanting City Space, MYER in the CBD now has both the space shuttle and the big rocket launch set. Target in the CBD has the sattelite launch van. No sign of the moon buggy anywhere in Perth yet.

Having just watched "Food Inc", I am tending to lean towards the wheat logo representing one of the giant vertically integrated agricultural firms that are becoming the norm in this world :)

A part I would like to see is a 1 x 1 x 2 corner panel (that matches with the 1 x 2 x 2 panels) and a 1 x 1 x 3 corner panel (that matches with the 1 x 2 x 3 and 1 x 4 x 3 panels) I want to see it in clear, in trans-light-blue and in trans-black If it hasn't already been mentioned, I also want to see a 1 x 1 tile in clear (it exists but is almost impossible to get) and a 1 x 1 tile in the new trans-orange. And I want the long whip antennas in trans-yellow (the Blacktron 1 color)

There is also a tree in the Creator log cabin set

No sign of anything new at Carousel, plenty of S3 figs around though. So far the only City Space set I have seen is the sattelite launch van. Oh and if anyone in Perth wants an Imperial Flagship, I saw one on the shelf at MYER Carousel (no idea of the price though)

Based on the pictures, the dancer with the boom box appears to have the same hair (same color) as the S2 pop star. Looking at the pictures, I really like the gangster (for the instrument case and suit torso), the lumberjack (for the axe, baseball cap and torso), the student (for the printed tile, mortarboard, gown and torso) and snowboarder (for the snowboard and torso). The torso on the zookeeper, the hair on the Egyptian queen and the clown pie are also great.

Portal of Atlantis is a good set for parts and worth it at that price.

Do you mean Series 3 or Series 4 (because Series 4 is not available yet)
