Thanks for that. I hope it's a hardback I get then.

I have preordered a copy but believe it is softcoverd. I have since seen advertised a hardbacked version so may need to get that one instead or as well.

30'odd years ago when I was a kid playing Lego you could buy a sticker book with instructions. It showed how to make things for the stickers to be used on. I remember a school blackboard and tables, shops, cafe, pizza place, a garage stuff like that. Some of the stickers are still on my old Lego. I remember enjoying those.

Big W will have the mine set for $89. That's a great price fit that set. Under US RRP. -
Looking forward to the new large sets. They seem to be the first to sell out at the shops. Most of the smaller ones are still on the shelf. But Olivia's house, the cafe and vet sold out quick. Now the horse sets sold out quick.

Try David Jones for a price match. I read Today in store that they will Price match other retailers and their online stores. So if you could get It from TRU online then DJs will match it. -

Amazon already sold out on Batman Visual Guide?
BrettBrick replied to Faefrost's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I have had preorders cancelled previously. The stuff ends up in stock and selling. If it has been on preorder for a while, about 3 months. So try again is my option. Or better try somewhere else. -

The monster fighters Zombie set is at BigW for $58, it is the exclusive set so the price is good, S@H have it listed for $69.95. The Castle was $128, Hearse $44, Smallest set was under $15, something like $14.64. No shelf prices had to scan them to get the prices. -

I spoke to a LEGO rep yesterday in Target and she assured me they would be in store in September but warned me there isn't much stock. Did you happen to get a catalogue? I know what is coming but just want one. -

Shopforme has monster fighter preorder sets at 30% off. There is the bulk sets plus hearse, train and castle. -
I imported the latest sets from Germany and my daughter recieved them for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. We have built a few of the new sets and they are great, nice detail and plenty for her to play with. The older sets are a litle better as there is wider vaiety in their content. There could be some boys in the mix as that is how society is. She would like to see a coule of shops, like retail stores and a grocery store too and a big swimming pool All the little hair clips, lipstick etc that come in the little bag are the parts that add to the detail of the sets and she loves them. Hope this series stays around for a few years like Belville, but is updated more reguarly,

If there were a "like" button on this forum I'd be using it for this quote. -

I called Lego Australia and some one actually answered the phone. That in itself is worth mentioning. I asked about the 2012 2H catalogue and apparently they will goto stores first then be mailed out to Lego club members which I feel is the wrong way around. I then asked about monster fighters and was told in stores from August. I have contacted shopforme and they expect mid August. -

From tomorrow until Sunday, 25% off toys at TRU using a coupon printed out from an email if you have signed up for their emails. Wish Monster Fighters were out, can't think of anything to get from them. -

It must of been part of the toy sale. -
After watching a couple of episodes today, I believe that it is not a train but a bus with many carriages that is then taken by the snakes and they bite the bus and it changes into the snake bus multi carriage thing. That would be a great set.

Well I stand corrected. I still feel this thread should be for Aussie available good pricing. Not just local sale content. Half the deals in the "other countries thread don't work for Australia. Kamrt in Australia are clearing out some old city stock too. -

Kmart, target are US companies so might aswell put them in that category as well. If they sell with delivery in Australia with a .com.au website they should be in this thread I feel. Personally I think any sales available to Australians should be in this thread. That way you and I don't have to look at any other sales threads its all in one place. But having the other countries thread I guess does work. BigW had a new delivery of alien sets. Tripod $20. Helicopter $40. -
Fantastic. An XB and L34. I gotta give them a try. Also love the 60's and 70's F1 cars. Would like to see the elf tyrell in blue and yellow P34.
