LEGOLAND Billund Discussion & Photos
jacob_uno replied to jacob_uno's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It also depends on what week days you arriving. I've just ordered Sunday-Monday in a Friends room at Legoland Hotel with two days in the park. 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant. 2000 Danish kroner. -

A small Danish tv channel has made a 12 episode behind the scenes show at Legoland Resort Billund. The shows are in Danish, but even if you don't understand it, you get nice look at the park. http://www.tvsyd.dk/legoland?categoryid=588&video_id=65379&page_num=2&autoplay=1

1987 Castle Comic Book: The Robber Baron
jacob_uno replied to jamesster's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
@TalonCard The two artist I've mailed with simply can't remember any more than I've written here. It was after all some years ago! But as a fun fact, I can tell that Frank Madsen who did Jim Spaceborn had a long discussion with LEGO about the possibility of the minifigures in the comic. It ended, as we all know, with the minifigs being able do things they can't do in real life. -
1987 Castle Comic Book: The Robber Baron

I've contacted Per Sanderhage who wrote the Castle Kids stories. He said there were two Castle Kids books published and one more that never came out. He also wrote Pirate stories that were drawn by a Spanish guy named Vano. He said the reason LEGO dropped making comics was because of poor sale compared to bricks! -

I've met Frank Madsen on several occasions and he's drawn a Jim & Keko drawing to me plus a Jim drawing in my Jim Spaceborn comic. I've also met Freddy Milton who does his own comics as well as Donald Duck for Disney. I never knew he made LEGO comics! -
That is so great! I want to make one right away!

Technic for teh win! I've been looking for a book like this! It would fit nicely under a LEGO packed Christmas tree. Thanks for the review.

I want to paint the box in a LEGO style, but don't know what to paint. I could be something that uses the square form of the box.

I Got myself some Super Heroes, Monster Fighters, City and Duplo sets. Only thing that was sold out was the big Friends sets.

I think Dansk Supermarked will live. I find it hard to believe that it should be a problem.

It appears the offer is on their website as well.
