  1. Reveal for DS would have to come out before the end of the month as that's when the October calendar is due for release. There would be very little maybe about it. If there is no reveal before or when calendar hits, then we can assume the DS' release is delayed (which wouldn't surprise me in the least.
  2. They usually do. I'm sure they have some stretch of creative licence. Even though I don't have the minifigure yet, I'm going to say that Gasmask Batman isn't accurate to any comic or movie iteration. Given the blue and black scheme of his batcopter, Batman should have had his Hazbat suit from the Amazo Virus story arch.
  3. Yup. Unused scripts were provided and the idea that Cave Johnson downloaded himself into a core was canon from Valve's creative team.
  4. The portal level was easily my favourite. Loved the hidden testing chambers and silly tone was really well done. Apparently Valve did contribute creatively to the portal experience for dimensions.
  5. And Force Awakens. Yet, we've had two Ten Numb figures before I single Nien Numb. Although, I'm glad we are getting a generic ground crew personnel figure and new updated Lando. Lando really doesn't get enough love in LEGO.
  6. Here's hoping for comic variants. The Batrick Day suit would be nice to finish my Darkest Knight Batsuit plus Bat by Gaslight suit in the trailer.
  7. I'm hoping for a ROTJ grey squadron Y-Wing personally since the last A-Wing didn't retire that long ago. Plus that last OT iteration was a very solid build... Can't see them drastically improving on its design.
  8. Agreed. Possessed Kevin would be better. You could still have the ghost magnetic contraption as his gadget.
  9. Yup, clearly modelled after his Empire and ROTJ hair (although the picture shared for ROTJ is wind-swept at that moment) but the new mould looks good and definitely suits him MUCH better.
  10. I believe it is the Mayor, Marion Grange. My first instinct was Sarah Essen (Barbara's step mother) but I believe it is supposed to be the Mayor.
  11. I find LEGO games are not dependent on the source material to be particularly enjoyable. I never deemed myself a POTC fan, for instance, but I enjoyed the LEGO game. While I did not find the movie very good, I definitely will be buying the GB2016 story pack. I'm just having a hard time figuring out who would be in the other GB pack... Rowan isnt very interesting, even by villain standards... Kevin? ... Least then you could play normal Kevin and possessed Kevin... Slimer is a no, for obvious reasons.
  12. I'm on this side. Not sure what the thrill is other than the unknown. It's probably $20 US due to the bigfig and that cart doesn't look like anything to drool over without seeing the finished product.
  13. Haha. Dang that was good.
  14. No, it looks like the torso piece is new and extends a bit down over his hips to simulate an actual vest. I'd suggest looking at the picture on a phone and zooming in as far as you can.
  15. Did any one notice that Jokers torso seems to sit over his hip pieces. Might just be a trick of light or very well designed torso-hip painting.
  16. Don't see how a bike is more exciting. Yes, sure it could fly but thats not a very unique gimmick. I'm very curious what the Phone Home does!
  17. I like the Joker and Batman one a lot. Definite purchase. The tail piece for Superman's spit-curl is nice. Nothing wrong with them but they are maybes in my book.
  18. Wow! That is amazing! Not sure how anyone can offer negative critiques. Your rubber band solution is very innovative and creative.
  19. That would be one heck of a side plot that I hope becomes substantiated! But I wouldn't be surprised if the movie only purely showcased DC comics...maybe an original LEGO movie character cameo or two.
  20. What are you asking? Are you asking how non-DC fun packs sold in relation to male-character only fun packs? How is this in relation to 2017 DC lego? If I could report you for spam, I would, cause clearly this is what that is. But the mobile version inhibits me.
  21. I would be surprised if it wasn't the Batplane showcased in the trailer as its own set or as part of a whole (like they did with BvS batmobile.
  22. Loved your review. And loved the set for the unique female heads and design. Was planning on buying this set regardless of my thoughts on the movie. Great design work to whoever made it at LEGO!
  23. And I would wager you are correct. Yes, it is a DC comics property but it is also a LEGO property and LEGO Movie spinoff. Marketing-wise, it will be it's own theme.
  24. Think they've done everything but torsos at this point. I haven't collected other themes like Ninjago where transparent parts have become more common but seems LEGO usually experiments outside licensed themes before implementing them across the board.
