  1. Yes I had the same problem but only with one of the halves. Makes an awful squeeking sound and usually pops off if I try to open or close it.
  2. Do we know what the Midway arcade terminals in each level accomplish? There is one in the Wizard of Oz level (1st story mission), but I found all the minikits for that level, and rescued Oz, so don't know what it will accomplish using the terminal.
  3. It would be really fitting if instead of an additional adventure world, you hlcould access the Ghostbusters 2016 world by using the delorean, tardis or time train in the regular Ghostbuster world to go forward in time.
  4. No contest. This one takes the cake.
  5. Indeed. I was referring to existing characters that have not been given the official lego treatment yet. Probably should have been more clear.
  6. Agreed. Mine is the same. He is quite the purist as well. Ive seen him create new characters out of existing lego parts that left me saying "wow good job. Never would have thought of that"
  7. That was my first thought as well. I highly doubt we'd get a Grant Morrison Batpirate anyways. Either is welcome, but Cosmic Clash version seems more likely.
  8. Thats crazy, how is this $80 USD? That would be the same price as the last AoU quinjet and dinky van. This definitely has more value.
  9. I used the white and black legs from the CMF monsters mad scientist. Less to erase off. Just waiting to snag the new Galactic Empire Battlepack to give him his black kepi.
  10. Im a huge rebel squadron and imperial fan, so: Theron Nett (newest X-Wing fighter variant) R2-X2 (loved how detailed he looks) Grey Squadron Pilot Admiral Yularan (modded him with white and black legs) TFA X-Wing Pilot Snap Wexley
  11. Think it has to do with the figures as well. Poe Dameron's X-Wing had three 4-piece figures (legs, body, head and helmet) + a 2-piece BB8. Total piece count to construct figures: 14 pieces The resistance X-Wing has Lor San Tekka (4-piece figure), BB8 (2-piece figure), Poe Dameron with hair and helmet (5-piece figure plus the flametrooper (13-piece figure). Not including weapon accessories. Total pieces: 24
  12. If you dont like it, dont buy it. Criticize as necessary but dont trash the designer and attack him personally. I would hope adults would be more collected on a forum for toys.
  13. Im with you. Im definitely buying this and adding it to my battle of hoth moc scene. I would have preferred a $500 with more to it though.
  14. Well thats a fault of the show's stylization. Unfortunate as it is, hopefully grey-suit Tarkin comes in the rumoured Death Star set.
  15. Lego really should have taken the opportunity of making a generic blue xwing and put different characters in it, like two xwing pilots from the final battle and their astromechs. We would then at least be granted a slightly different build as the xwing would have to accomodate regular astromechs. Plus I am dying to build my xwing squadron. Ill use Poe's blue helmet to make another generic, but Nien Numb, Jess Pava or the other squadron leader (never made clear in the movie who was red leader and who was blue leader) would have been nice. Ill have to mod this new xwing.
  16. Well, if thats the case that Antilles is in the Hoth echo base, that would be amazing! Wondering what the final look of the set will be and if the delay had anything to do with revamping the design or character designs. Im assuming that the delay was just due to the Episode VII lego releases, but who knows.
  17. Yes, thank Gods, we didnt have to suffer the farmer in his post-convergence costume ;)
  18. Looks good! Ive been eagerly anticipating this set since it was first teased over a year ago now. I have a sizeable hoth army (and luckily none of the updates have seemed to be superceded renditions of any previous ones, so with the exceptions of updating the headgear, all three versions look decent together, particularly the newest two hoth troopers variants).
  19. Wasnt this the same guy that gave us multiple fake lists for the summer wave?
  20. Ive played through all but one of the themed lego video games since Star Wars, some multiple times. Most favourite would be a tie between Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga and Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4, since Star Wars started it all but Harry Potter took the first major step forward with a large explorable hub world. Least favourite would probably have to be the one I decided not to buy: Lego The Hobbit. Of the ones Ive played it would be Lego Pirates of the Caribbean.
  21. Glad Red Hood is New 52, but really would take any incarnation of the Red Hood. Killer Croc looks better now that I see his face. I get why they didnt go with the LB3 look. Probably wanted the head to look more minifigure like.
  22. Red Robin New 52 Carrie Kelly Robin Stephanie Brown Robin Spoiler Terry McGinnes Oracle Huntress Arsenal Alfred Pennyworth Ras al Ghul Talia al Ghul Mad Hatter Mad hatter bunny goons (haha) Firefly Greenskinned Poison ivy Bigfig Bane James Gordon Batman (a guy can dream) Booster Gold Post-Convergence Wonder Woman Commissioner Gordon Darkest Knight Batman John Stewart Guy Gardner Etc etc
  23. With the exception of Batman (of course), all those figures will be completely new additions to my collection, as I dont have any previous incarnations of Killer Croc or Scarecrow. Its not a serious gripe, and a Im sure Killer Croc will look splendid, but all bigfigs seem to be in hulk-smash mode. Certainly doesnt fit the profile of all large characters, particularly Darkseid. Red Hood and Blue Beetle! Two off the list! Does anyone know if the "Anti-Gas Batman" is a new design?
  24. I would assume so. No official reason but I wouldnt be surprised if it was related to a problem with one of the manufacturing facilities that supplies North America.
  25. Wow, amazing job. When I saw this I was blown away. Is that the regular cockpit window from the system-scale set?
