    Modal Masks (http://modaltmasks.deviantart.com) does a really good job at this, and they'll do custom masks. I highly recommend them if you want a more "professional" designer.

    At least the Ninjago 2017 is accurate, as all but confirmed by Tommy Andreasen, who acknowledged the existence of Dragon Wrought and asked how we fans are aware of the Vermillion. Since they came from the same place, I assume this is legit...

    Personally, I'm hoping for $15 - $25, because we can get cooler sets with more interesting builds and functions at that pricepoint. I doubt they'll be $10, because that price point was used for small, accompanying CCBS models like the creatures and Protectors.

    Pretty excited for this! Glad constraction has found a new outlet in Nexo Knights. And yeah - when I bought that magazine, I had a sneaking suspicion that CCBS sets were to come. Glad it's been pseudo-confirmed!

    Good ideas, but the movie is in a separate canon than the TV show. So as much as I want obscure TV minifigures, it won't happen. :(

    Really impressed by the caliber of this show, especially compared to other previous Lego Star Wars offerings. Each episode is better than the previous one, and I'm looking forward to seeing episode 13.

    Apparently there will be a new short focusing around the Ninjago movie before the Storks movie in September. This may be our first look at the movie, so I'm looking forward to it! New Lego Short 'The Master' to Debut Before 'Storks'

    I have about 20-25 spare G2 heads (gifted from a Lego employee after the building event in stores ended), but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on a metal one... I'll definitely order a black one for the Makuta combi model, but still on the fence about metal.

    I'm also trying to decide which to purchase... According to the comments, the creator said "Both of them fit onto the G2 heads. I just made a small change to them in order to make one bigger than the other, the clips remained the same size though. The reason one is bigger than the other is because the mask seen in the Makuta contest video is designed to fit well on the model and be bigger than all the other masks." Based on this quote, I'd assume the villager sized one is best to scale with the MoCr and the MoCo, but the titan one is (obviously) for those building the titan Makuta. Since I'm both building the titan and want it to scale with the others, I'm wondering if anyone can share any pics of either one on the built titan or next to the other two Great Masks so I can judge... Thanks!

    Great idea, but I just checked his Twitter again and he stated it is "sort of" Kai's dragon... Maybe a mix between Kai and his father, making a... super... fire... dragon...?

    All he said was "It's complicated." He also said we will be seeing another dragon fusion in HoT but "much cooler." This may be what he's referring to - a combination dragon like Nya and Jay's, but this time between Kai and perhaps Nya...

    This may be semi off-topic, but I'm currently visiting Rome and a local toy store just gave me the retailer's catalogue for Summer sets because the one for next year is coming September 1. Just an FYI - around the beginning of September is when were will probably start to see leaks. Unfortunately, I'm not staying until then (he was willing to let me phototgraph each page as I'm so fascinated by the design process of sets, even already released ones) and mentioned he'd do the same for next year's catalogue if I was still in the area, which I won't be. However, leaks will probably start appearing then. Edit : just realized this answers your question...

    I was here, and even contacted him. Let's just say he strung us along with fake set descriptions based on real set names, and even emailed members fake, blurred photoshopped pics. At the very end, like a true fake leaker, he insulted the fanbase, ridiculing us for believing him and was promptly banned. Now, I'm cautiously going to believe Whisperer, but won't get all my hopes up.

    I didn't notice much about the animation until you mentioned it, but now I'm looking again, the scenery and lighting could use some work, especially compared to one of my favorite Ninjago scenes - the Bounty flying into the sunset in Kingdom Come. I'm also not really a fan of how their names appear on the screen - the names cover their faces sometimes it just feels a tad sloppy. However, there is new music - after Cole jumps off the dirt ramp the new version of the Weekend Whip starts playing - which is why the Fold re-uploaded it on their channel. I'm cautiously optimistic about the special (especially the length) but the animation could be a bit better...

    You've got to be kidding me. This is the Winter Toy Shop all over again. I try to collect all the UCS sets. I even bought AoH telling myself that it's so bad because all the work is going into the new, awesome Death Star. And then I see this. I really, really have no motivation to buy this. Its really annoying as there will be a gap in my near-complete UCS lineup, but I really cannot bring myself to buy this. I'll Bricklink the figs only if they don't show up in other sets in a few years. What has happened to UCS this year....? Hoping for better offerings next year.
