  1. Clay's jet looks interesting... I'd want to see actual pictures before I judge it completely... Can't find Jestro though. Where is everyone seeing this?
  2. It's off-topic, but quite a few things - not sure if you're familiar with Bionicle Gen1, but he revealed exactly how Matoran are made, stated that love cannot exist in the universe and any depictions of romance are non-canon, revealed the exact names of characters who previously held only titles, etc. Don't get me wrong, I still really appreciate him and everything he's done, but the super-claraification of every nitty gritty detail in the whole universe limited creative fan expansion.
  3. Yeah, Tommy's great! Regarding the age thing, he was really, really hesitant to confirm any details regarding time passing or age at all in Ninjago - I think he prefers to keep things a bit vague, which I actually really like - he doesn't go into needless detail and spoil some of the mystery like Greg Farshety did. Also TLNM means The Lego Ninjago Movie.
  4. Shame that "Jousting Beiber," "Brickney Spears," "The Blok," and "Shia LaBlade," seem to be one-off characters in the show, because I'd love minifigures of them, even just as book exclusives or polybags... The chances of this happening are really slim, though, because of the obvious celebrity parallels... Purple sounds great for next year's villains! Looking forward to it...
  5. Looking forward to seeing those drawings on Reddit ;) Can you describe "Red Medusa's" leg build a bit more, please? There were a few Chima Construction blades - are they the ones Eris and Razar used, the ones Cragger and Worriz used, or the (really awesome) axe pieces in the EU/Asia/Africa exclusives? Do the small blades resemble sais? Knives? Swords? And are they all the same element but cast in different colors? Thanks!
  6. Oh, wow! That sounds great then. Images seem a lot more finalized than usual - I would think that the canoe would be brown, but olive green is great. Fits in with 2015's FFotDB olive highlights too.
  7. Descriptions sound great! Looking forward to this line. I wonder if the olive green boats are just placeholders, because they appeared in that color in City and Chima...
  8. Snakes... Again? Huh... I mean, I guess if they try something new or a new twist, that would be nice. I always imagined the new enemies to have powers over time travel or something like that, so maybe these snake items are special headdresses that allow them to do so? I like the use of the series 16 rogue hood, though.
  9. Just saw the picture - it looks great. Love the new logo and the Minifigs. The Vermillion look really odd (in a good way) and they do not resemble the Stone Army at all, something I was really worried about. I wish Kai's dad had his outfit as seen in Spellbound, but maybe it's a placeholder. The blacked out figure is obviously their mother, and I'm excited to see it!
  10. Just saw it - it wasn't big on plot, but was great for comedy - without going into too many details, it introduces "Jousting Beiber," "Brickney Spears," "The Blok," and yes, you heard it, "Shia LaBlade," a team of rival knights who supposedly conquered Jestro's army and seized the book of envy. A tournament is held, which is pretty much the whole episode. It certainly got quite a lot of laughs from me, even though not much really happened...
  11. Seems like episode 4 is out... Haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but I will soon and post some thoughts...
  12. Airship? YES!
  13. Leaks on Taobao, the Chinese version of ebay.
  14. Agreed. Plus, a blacksmith shop Dragon hybrid sounds just like what "Dragon Wrought."
  15. I think it's more or a separate adventure than directly related - sure, it tells you how they obtained the new vehicles, but that can be adequately explained in just one line...
  16. Thanks for the review! Mine is shipping to me now... Excited to read it!
  17. Noticed that none of the suits showing hair were included (Rebooted had the wrong hood) and they seemed to have no knowledge of book-exclusive minifigures, except for Lloyd Elemental, and arguably that was just a reskin and not meant to be based off the book version (Even though they're the same anyway).
  18. Ninjago spinners were actually very successful... Speedorz, not so much. Not sure about Ultimates...
  19. Thanks, but I've already checked. No stores in my state have him, and one store in a neighbor state carries one, but I wouldn't want to take a road trip just for that...
  20. Man, that sand at the end was looking really, really good. Reminds me of the sand in Disney's short "Piper," which is a really good thing.
  21. Appreciate this! I like how the mods use parts that are pretty common, so if they improve the structure, that's great. Thanks for sharing! I just need to acquire Tahu now (he's sold out EVERYWHERE) but I'm seriously considering Bricklinking him - he's just the last set I need as I don't want to take apart my current sets. I did find a sweet deal on Destroyer, Agil, and Onua (all 50% off sale price) because of crushed boxes though...
  22. There are the two leaked Hands of Time images showing these, which is why I'm assuming these are the real deal for 2017... Where's the first image from?
  23. Really? I actually love the black! Makes them look more like ninjas and less like Power Rangers There's also an interesting tidbit - These suits may be called "Fusion suits," and there's a small blurb about them: " Control more than time…control your destiny. Fuse your training, friendship and wisdom to achieve the Fusion Level!" I'm taking this with a grain of salt, considering it called the Zukin outfits "Spellbound suits," but there may be some hints in here...
  24. Man, these suits are good! They seem to match up with the leaked screenshots and I'm loving them even more. Where did NinjaJayNuva find these? Edit: They're from the Wu-Cru section of Ninjago.com. Nya and Lloyd are there too.
