Bionicle/CCBS pieces back on Bricks and Pieces
DuckBricks replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Action Figures
It might actually not be specifically CCBS related - they have Ninjago parts from 2012-2015, Chima headgear and armor, Nexo Knights components, and even printed elements from long-discontinued Star Wars sets like the Ewok Village. Seems to me like they are more just cleaning out stocks of older parts agnostic of theme. I was able to place an order with customer support, if you're willing to try that out -- They even gave me over half the parts I ordered for free due to the trouble of the site being down. -
Just a heads up for those of you who use Bricks and Pieces - a lot of parts from Gen2 are available to buy in bulk, including Onua 2015’s large chest, the Mask of Creation and several other masks, as well as a variety of shells, limbs, and whatnot. Even Kopaka’s swords and the piston piece is there! This might not last forever - every time I tried to place an order and pay, the site crashed, and the only way I was able to submit my order was through contacting customer service, who ended up giving me the boatload of CCBS parts I ordered to me for free for the hassle, since it was apparently a mistake that they were uploaded. As of now, they are still on there, and this site (https://nostalgic-wilson-b2026b.netlify.com/) can help you see all of what’s available (just go to categories, and Bionicle/CCBS) This is the link for specifically Bionicle/CCBS parts: https://nostalgic-wilson-b2026b.netlify.com/categories/bionicle_hero_factory_and_constraction Hope this helps!

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
DuckBricks replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
One of my bricks and pieces orders just came in, and one really strange thing is I noticed a lot of the parts had a lot of visible dust on them. It was nothing I couldn’t wash off, but I had the impression they’ve been sitting in a warehouse for years. I mostly ordered parts from 2015-2017 that were seemingly accidentally added to the site, but the most dusty ones were some that last appeared in 2012 sets (like a trans purple Ninjago snake, for example). Just really interesting seeing how this whole system operates... -

If this means unique figures (previous Movie Maker sets have had them), I’m all for this. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
DuckBricks replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Customer service was able to help me place my order, but I just got my receipt and I was not charged for any part before 2018/2019, aka none of the Bionicle CCBS parts, Nexo, or older Ninjago stuff that showed up as in stock. I’m guessing my order will arrive without those, which is disappointing as that’s the only reason I placed it. Was anyone else able to actually get any parts from 2015,16,17 etc? edit: ok, LEGO customer service is the best “When I was going through your list there were a lot of parts that weren't supposed to be up on the Bricks & Pieces site for sale. That might be why you were running into so many issues! I added them into the order free of charge just this once for that confusion and frustration, there were only two that we no longer have: 6096490 and 6115685. For those two you might want to check out some fan sites!” -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
DuckBricks replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Got as far as adding all my items to the cart, checking out on shop at home, but consistently fails every time I hit “place order.” I’ve tried PayPal, as well as two different credit cards, all of which I know work fine on s@h normally. Welp, guess that’s about an hour’s worth of selecting parts and drooling over discontinued parts made available wasted. Guess it was too good to be true... has anyone else had any success whatsoever at this recently? edit: wow, this site really blows - I added a $1.24 keychain that was on sale just to see if adding a “normal” item would make a difference, and now my subtotal is $0.00 and there are two “Place Order” buttons with individual accept terms and conditions checkboxes, neither of which do anything at this point... -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
DuckBricks replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I wouldn’t take the set’s inclusion of figures to mean anything - I’m sure that it Akita is still with Lloyd when he finds the mech, the only reason she’s not in the set is because LEGO wanted to keep the figure exclusive to one set.- 4,591 replies

I feel like they’d show it was Zane if it was really him though. If all the characters think it’s him, there’s no point hiding it if it’s actually him - that, plus the eyebrows on the set Ice Emperor being identical to Zane’s plus the strangely low battery of the mech makes me smell some sort of twist coming up...- 4,591 replies

Loving this Never-Realm storyline and the amount of mysteries surrounding the Ice Samurai, the prisoner, the origin of all this, and the wolves — this second half has really gripped me much more than the fire chapter, and I’m so excited for what’s to come. Also am getting some heavy Game of Thrones vibes with the battle against the warriors and their approach to the fortified village, which is cool- 4,591 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
DuckBricks replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very curious how the gaps were fixed in the Falcon; that simple fix alone bumped my excitement for the set much higher than before. Mandalorian set is a good sign LEGO is willing to give us substantial stuff for Disney+ series, but the rest are not too too exciting... -

I’d love that size of a set for Falcon and WS - 3-4 figures seems perfect for the two titular heroes plus Zemo. -

I think those are the Garmadon outfits, the assets reused from the Ninjago DVD “making of” special with fake actors and costumes etc- 4,591 replies

I guess that makes sense - still a shame if it only applies to Hidden Side sets. If anything, it could be even better if it applied to all sets so people who otherwise wouldn’t get Hidden Side would be exposed to the theme, rather than just the audience that already set out to buy them.
-
Hoping this applies to all sets and not just Hidden Side - I purchased the whole wave on launch day and would hate to have this promo after all the sets have been out for a month. Very odd how this wasn’t just an August 1 promo to coincide with the release of the sets...

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
DuckBricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Thanos face for the mech seems very promising - it doesn’t look overly stylized or in a completely different aesthetic than normal heads, which is great! -
Yeah, unfortunate as it is, if the line is truly cancelled but still is living on in some way, it’s probably going to be Brickheadz. That’s really the only way that dead themes or old licenses can make any sort of comeback, now that Dimensions is gone...

At $10, they’re likely something along the lines of the Nexo Knights Battle suits (https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Nexo-Knights/subtheme-Battle-Suits), but the increased part count is exciting and I’m expecting some new molds or new sort of gimmick for these sets - very interested to see how it turns out. -

He’s referencing the Avatar Pod versions of the characters, which we currently know nothing about. I doubt it, as the face for Jay seems like a unique elemental one that would appear in such a set and the relatively mundane clothing doesn’t seem to lend itself to that at all.
-
Yeah, I’d kill for a Ninjago TV show CMF down the line, but I don’t know when/if that could ever happen. There’s enough material to cover several CMFs, and large gaps in not just side characters but main ninja outfits as well (casual, pink Zane, golden digiverse, space suits, future suits, etc)...
-
The expressions don’t seem to fit and it would probably be green, not blue, which lends itself more to an elemental aspect as we’ve seen in previous spinner and impulse buy related sets, but I’d love this variant at some point down the line.

So, what are Leaf, IP-2 and Zebra?
DuckBricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah, I've got to agree here - as much as I'd like to see a new constraction theme, the previous lineup was cancelled as the sets did so badly that they didn't even bother releasing sets that were completed enough to be included in retail catalogs. The 14 set lineup and set numbers picking up where Bionicle G2 left off is promising though, albeit not very conclusive proof whatsoever. -

DuckBricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Really, really hoping for another constraction theme in any way, shape, or form. Since Star Wars CCBS was discontinued I've been sorely missing constraction from LEGO's lineup as a whole (Bionicle is what really got me into Lego in the first place) and with Faber teasing Bionicle G3, this seems like a good time to launch a new lineup. I'm only hoping that if this rumor ends up being true and it's NOT a Bionicle reboot but something different, there won't be too much backlash with all the Bionicle teasing. All I want is for constraction to sell well in general, no matter what form it takes.
