  1. @Darth Bjorn I’d really like to do a micro scale wroshyr tree, but I’m not sure I’ll ever have the time.
  2. Thanks y’all

  4. *Your entry has earned 7 XP*
  5. Which ones? That’s usually where we catch formula errors, like when somebody spelled a planet wrong and the points don’t go through.
  6. Those layers are fantastic, along with the signs, and the details throughout. It'd be nice to give that tree a bit of a bend to look more realistic. Maybe more leaves too.
  7. thanks. I did take a close up shot, but just liked the wider shot better. And if it's not obvious, the fyrnock is just thrown in to fit the episode.
  8. *Your entry has earned 18 XP* Long ago Polis Massa was a remote Rebel hideout with new Loyalist arriving each rotation. One pesky stowaway caused quite a commotion on the peaceful asteroid. That, along with the invasion by Imperial forces, left the base desolate until ambitious wildcatters saw and opportunity to repurpose the base for tourists and merchants alike.
  9. Freebuild and LC scores have been posted. Sorry for the delay
  10. Going forward, I think we’re going to need the limited challenge builds to be more incorporated. It defeats the purpose if they’re thrown into an unrelated build or not even in the main build of the post.
  11. You got some interesting details in. I particularly like the texturing you did with the shield tiles. And it is impressive that you got such a large ship layout in there. I would probably sacrifice some of that space to guts to get better connections and shaping on the exterior, and even skipping some rooms so you can do something more interesting with the interior detailing. I would leave out the sand for your Brickworld display. It may just be some techniques that I don't care for personally, but I feel like it detracts from your build.
  12. Maybe. It’s meant to be a surprise and time constrained
  13. It does seem to be pretty big and the tree kind of makes me sad. You got some great greebling in there and I really like the connection to the wings. The wall is pretty nice as well. I shoot for 1m=3studs. With an E-Wing at 11.2m that would be about 34 studs. I think I counted 40 on your E-Wing. So I guess it's not as oversized as I thought, but maybe just thick? It is quite smooth and looks nice. The concept of another orange and black incom ship is cool, too.
  14. I really like the yellow and how smooth you got everything. I feel like there are some more interesting and advanced ways to do the sides and nose, but those engines are awesome.
  15. I think you need to give some credit to Jerac for this one Can you clarify any significant differences between the designs?
  16. thanks y'all. Definitely not swooshable. Those wings are quite heavy and sometimes are only connected by a few studs. If you take them off (the dbg part), it can be swooshed, but I didn't bother to make spin or finish out the bottom of the engines. I was kind of trying to suggest a lot of under water activity with the platform, since it's a whale-man world, but I also underestimated how big the fang fighter was at minifigure scale.
  17. there are some great details in that wall. I especially like the strip of clips and the skates under the yellow sticker. The pattern on the ship looks good, too; kind of dizzying
  18. *Your entry has earned 22 XP and has won the MandalMotors Corporation* While many are content to get on with their lives after the Empire, a new form of rebellion is brewing across the galaxy. Those not satisfied with the New Republics progress in subduing the remaining Imperial warlords have taken it upon themselves to strike back. Now, outlaws to both the New Republic and bitter enemies to the regrouping Imperials, these truest of freedom fighters have to rely on black market funding and resupply. The Confederacy of Free Systems has been a welcome friend to those searching for financing, safe harbor, and a shared vision of liberty. The Red Moon Squadron is one such group being secretly financed by various groups throughout the CFS. New Republic ambassadors blast the group as wanton terrorists, impeding negotiations with remaining Imperial holdouts. Those on Giju, who lived through slavery under the Empire, happily resupply the various starfighters of Red Moon Squadron.
  19. Good curve on the wings. Do you have any shots that show it more clearly as minifigure scale?
  20. I’m sure we can do another challenge to cover them with different incentives involved. You can always build them in your regular builds, of course, and I’m sure you’ll be rewarded well for a good one.
  21. I think the E-Wing can fall under the umbrella of Incom. I assumed it was Incom too. @Ross Fisher we had to be careful which planets we just gave away; several HQs are already controlled by specific factions. We also needed to limited it to a few corporations to get more competition going
  22. Fantastic job on the speeder. I really like the walls, lights, and hexagon pattern in the road, too.
