yeah, the trade-off works here because it fits in nicely -
[Factions Ep. 7 - Cat. B][K10 - Cal-Seti - CS] Med-Bay

I'm guessing you ran out of time or underestimated your bricks :) The floor does look nice. Interested to know what your plan was for the rest -
Such a great build in your first year out of the dark ages. There are some parts that stand out as a bit simple, like some of the larger chunks of rock-work and the vegetation, but the detailed shots do a lot to show how much detail you packed into this build. I think the rest could be cleaned up by a few more parts and another week of build, because you're showing a lot of proficiency in adding those details elsewhere. Photography is awesome as usual, though some shots certainly work better with the computer screen in the back than others.

Fantastic texturing throughout. An interior would be awesome, as DB said. The antenna has some npu that makes it a nice little cluster. -
[Factions Ep. 7 - Cat B][O10 - Ambria - TT] “Dank farrik”

There are two great builds here. I think they would have tied together much better with some thicker sections of the upper crust (?), maybe with the spider crawling around the underside. Great use of color and nice speeder. -
Thanks y'all. I'll try to add some WIP and unedited shots to IG. Mike, the beams were a pain in the megablocks, good luck. I think I did over edited a lot of this and should have planned my lighting options ahead of time. Would have been nice to balance out the cluttered areas of the build with the wide open stuff.

Nice SNOT work and splash of colors. I think you could use some more consistency in your rock-work, which can be really difficult with this large of a build, but you've got some rough transitions, mix of curves and regular slopes, and a lot of variation in the style/texture. The walkways are great, but the transition to the wall could be smoother and it'd be great if those gaps were filled in or just leave them straight up. I would also study some of Blake Foster's greebling to try to get a more polished look

[Factions Ep. 7 - Cat B] [O7 - Mandalore - CE] For Mandalore...

I think balancing out your colors a bit could help with the cluttered feel to this. The gold is just out there by itself and could be "grounded" more into the wall. Finishing out that upper level would definitely help, as well. Using a single color on the micro stuff might keep it as a distinct background/forced-perspective element. -

I really like the way you used the hot air balloon sections. The overall color and feel of the build is great, too. The steam is a little distracting and could probably use some more texture. Vehicles look awesome, maybe a little small on the ITT and a little large on the bikes, but really well placed in the scene. -

That floor turned out great. I bet that window was a pain to edit so many times -

*Your entry has earned 7 XP* I was ushered across the hellscape of Mustafar to a Clone Wars era outpost. Inside, expecting to find Sith artifacts, I instead saw the Mustafarians' greatest treasure: trees. I hadn't thought much about the scraggly twigs outside their home, but they were apparently crucial to a new world they were building on Mustafar. I had come across Vader cultist or otherwise fanatics before on Coruscant and Naboo, and knew they weren't the same breed as the Sith cultists seeking to reestablish the Empire. With the help of the Mustafarian locals, they seemed to be starting something beautiful on Mustafar, and it really just sucks that it's just a dead end with no bounties to collect. Screw this place...

*Your entry has earned 6 XP* Starting in the direction taken by the scout, I soon came upon a peculiar hideout in the rocks. The only thing that distinguished it from the other surrounding lava tunnels was distinct carvings above the entrance. I was quickly challenged and aggressively encouraged to explain my intrusion. It seems I happened upon a quite unusual couple. The taller, a Mustafarian priest. The shorter, a Vader cultist, on a pilgrimage turned mission to the bizarre world. With the planet's recent unusual cooling, they had been able to settle down in an ancient Mustafarian tunnel and they had the audacity to start growing trees on the lava planet. With difficulty, when I explained that the Empire was seeking ancient power on Mustafar, the priest seemed to know exactly where to take me...

*Your entry has earned 7 XP* Transmissions from Garel were relayed in Mustafar. Tracking the signal led me to a mining outpost in regions formally controlled by the Black Sun. This particular one was still up and running, with a steady flow of droids coming in and out for repairs. There was a two person bunk. One "employee" would work on the droids there, while another scouted the fields. My landing didn't go unnoticed and the scout apparently let out as soon as I was spotted. The Ugnaught left behind told me what he could, but the scout apparently scrubbed whatever data was left. The only thing left to do from here is start chatting up the locals. This should be fun...

*Your entry has earned 12 XP* It helps to know the right people. This time it paid for the fuel, too. The Guardians' network on Garel was holding an Imp NCO, who was already prepped and giving away the store. I guess enough of his buddies had been picked off on this little mission of theres and he wanted out. It seemed I was on the heels of something big. After taking this one into custody, and collecting the bounty, I was headed to the next location they seemed to be communicating with. Just need to get there before somebody else does...

*Your entry has earned 12 XP* If Sith cultist Imps were sniffing around ancient temples, I knew where I could get some more intel. The Temple Guardians, or this current iteration, arose during the Liberation of Lothal. When mysteries of the planet were revealed, locals knew they had to keep a vigilant watch to keep that power out of the hands of the Empire. As a private investigator for the New Republic and Confederacy, with some successes gathering up Sith cultist, I was able to get myself a meeting. Apparently the Imps had been busy searching the steppes of Lothal, but the Guardians had stayed on top of them. Symbology from the Guardians pointed to Holocrons - an ancient Sith and Jedi method for storing data, but also capable of unnatural powers in the right, or wrong, hands. The Guardians did save a prisoner for further interrogation...

*Your entry has earned 6 XP* Rumors first came out of former associates on Yavin IV that brazen Imperial Remnants had been in the area searching for something. When I went to investigate, I found that the trail abruptly ended with a Wookiee work party, camped out on the upper reaches of one of the temples. These Wookiees apparently could sniff out an Imp and had done their part in dispatching the villainous intruders. The corpse didn't leave many clues, but one of the Imps did have a distinctive tattoo with Sith runes. The Wookies were gracious enough to save that, nicely stretched and tanned. I knew where to go next...

*Your entry has earned 40 XP* Coruscant - Lower Levels - Lift 654 - outside Kwazi's Chop Shop... High value targets from an Imperial Remnant have been spotted under the glow of an oversized pink krill by an enterprising elixir peddler. Zaz Sikari, a veteran Clawdite bounty hunter, with plenty of debt to pay, has already intercepted their taxi... Most residents won't think twice about a speeder dropping through the lift, except to get out of the way. But this taxi won't be coming back up. With the Imp's getaway out of the way, the Nemoidian buyers move in. This particular target had been around for a while. At the beginning of the Empire, he was an enforcer on Cato Nemoidia. Rumors persisted that he still kept Nemoidian artifacts and other unsavory trophies, and that it was in search of new, highly volatile artifacts that lured him into the deeps of Coruscant. This particular buyer was insistent on confronting the target himself. His drop team was merely there to secure the field. He would stay behind, to pay for the act that he insisted must be done. It wasn't long before the New Republic made their way down the lift.

The Confederacy of Free Systems has discovered Pyerce's forces on S10.

The search for Moff Pyerce and his Imperial Remnant is on! After his failed blockade and defeat, Moff Pyerce's forces have scattered across the galaxy, but their whereabouts are no coincidence of war. Rumors abound that Moff Pyerce is in search of secret Holocrons hidden throughout the galaxy to harness their energy for his own evil designs. Each faction has enough knowledge of these Holocrons to know that they are dangerous, and has vowed stop Pyerce's forces and maybe even find a Holocron for their own glory. Start a galaxy-wide search with your Faction. But beware; other Factions are hunting too. Contest Specifics: Explore the galaxy to find the Holocrons first! To find out the location of a Holocron... Your faction must earn 25IP in the Holocron's Sector with your Category A and/or B entries, AND Your faction must have earned more IP than any other single Faction for that Sector with your Category A and/or B entries. Holocrons already known by individual Factions are safe from Pyerce, and therefore cannot be discovered in this Episode unless you get 25IP on the Holocron's specific planet. Additionally, 6 new, undiscovered, Holocrons are being added to the map but there may be twice as many still on the map, waiting to be discovered. IP may only be earned on systems where your Faction has access. Consult your Faction Leaders to help you determine where your Faction can earn IP. Your Faction gets to decide where Moff Pyerce's forces are hiding and where double points can be earned! During the first week of the Episode, your Faction Leader can chose one Sector where all Factions can earn double XP. The chosen Sector must be conspicuously posted in the comments below. Your Faction will not be allowed to post Category B entries in that Sector, but other Factions may. These Sectors will be where Pyerce's forces are hiding/searching, so be sure to include them in your build. Moff Pyerce should not be included in your build, because it would be kind of dumb if he were on 5 different systems at once. All factions will be able to earn double points in the Sectors chosen by the Faction Leaders. Category A - Build a habitat (14x12 build with suggested sizing requirements found here, max height 16 studs if not using the template) showing your forces searching for Moff Pyerce and his forces. This must feature a dwelling and should be unique to the terrain and culture of the planet it is on. NO limit on number of entries, but detail is very important. Dwellings onboard ships discouraged. Shops and businesses okay as long as they are small and detailed with some local flavor. We want you to show the character of the people and planet you choose. Category B - Show your search party in action. Size limit: minimum 32x32x32. You should include a drop team of at least 5 original minifigures (not necessarily original characters, but original minifigure designs) searching for Moff Pyerce's forces. Builds should be unique to the terrain and culture of the planet it is on. Limit ONE entry per builder. The Rules: Entries should be set during the Factions Era, roughly 7 ABY. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Factions subforum, the title prefixed by [Factions Ep. 7- Category][Build Sector - Build Planet - Faction]. For example, “[Factions Ep. 7 - Cat A][I7 - Kril'Dor - CS] Strike Team”. Each person is only allowed 1 entry in Category B. Unlimited entries in Category A. All entries must be entered using this form: Link to Submittal Form All rules in the Core Rules topic apply unless otherwise stated in this explanation or the rules above. Each Category has size restrictions. Follow the Contest Specifics, above. The Episode will run from November 1 to January 4, 2021. As long as it is still January 4th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified from the episode and will not be eligible to receive points or XP. Entries will be judged according to the following rules: Your build can earn up to 50 points. The amount of points you earn is also the amount of XP your character earns. This episode/contest is open to all players of Factions, even if they joined EB or signed up for the game after the episode has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to the start date of this episode. You can use creations for this contest in other forums or contests, but it should not have been displayed before the start date for this contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO or with Lego Digital Designer. No third-party molds may be used except for minfigure accessories (if you must...). If you are using Lego Digital Designer, please remember you can only use existing colors and pieces. Also be aware that the judges will watching to make sure your LDD model could hold itself up in real-life. Post pictures no larger than 1024x768, as specified in the EB Member Guidelines. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on ANY picture. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited,. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. The Prizes: You will receive XP equal to the number of points you are awarded from the judges. Your faction may receive the location of a Holocron based on the Contest Specifics, above. Physical Prizes for top three entries: We'll pick the two highest overall (probably from Cat B) and the highest from the other category (probably Cat A). A tie will be resolved by a coin toss.

I submitted them separately. The link at the top goes to the prison pit only one.
