  1. Well. Genies. That's certainly not something I was expecting to see today. Or ever, really. I suppose that lends credence to great-great-grandfather Lloyd's visions though. Lynching each other doesn't seem like much of a plan, but in this situation I suppose that's just how it's going to be. I do agree that Yasu's pre-emptive defence as we were all gathering is suspicious, but maybe she's just a paranoid narcoleptic. Still, not the smartest thing to do - drawing suspicion on yourself before we even had a reason to be suspicious of anyone.
  2. I'm not insulting anyone, just pointing some things out.
  3. Well, now I really want that to happen. Yeah, so the latest MLP episode was pretty awesome. I quite enjoyed it. The next one's a Fluttershy one you say? Well I look forward to that. We've already had a Rainbow Dash one, so I can't hope for another of those any time soon... But that's fine, it's all awesome. I feel guilty writing only about MLP, but now Adventure Time's done for the season and all the other shows I watch are live action, I've got nothing else to talk about.
  4. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Hanako is the families acupuncturist, but rather the (extended) family's acupuncturist, or the families' acupuncturist if you would prefer. Possessive nouns are a favourite of mine. Speaking of Hanako's total balance, does (s)he also have a total balance when it comes to gender? I can see she looks relatively female, but you can never be sure...
  5. Abandon all social life, ye who enter Skyrim...
  6. 1) Ooh, hey, what's this here? 2) I'm not going anywhere. I'll be here. 3) I know you can get damn near anything from those crazy vending machines.
  7. Malukah's back with the complementary song to her previous 'Age of Aggression' cover. It's the Stormcloak variant, Age of Oppression! Some neat variation to this one, drums and what-not.
  8. Yes! That was amazing. I've been playing a lot of Mass Effect, so my first reaction was "Is that Captain Anderson? My god, it is!" (Keith David plays Captain Anderson in Mass Effect, for those that didn't piece that together. ) So that was awesome. Some neat new characters introduced in that episode, and some more of Rebecca Sugar's wonderful song-writing showing.
  9. The Steam Workshop integration is bringing this game back for me. I've got a half dozen mods installed already, just graphical tweaks and minor fixes, but it's so much nicer. And coupled with the HD Textures DLC, things are looking a lot better.
  10. Happy belated birthday! Oh, you meant the other Imperial? Well... it's still cake.
  11. Anyone catch the new episode? It aired early for a brief moment on itunes, which people snapped up and shared around. Quite a good on, I thought.
  12. In case anyone here hasn't heard, Valve (the guys behind Half-Life, Portal, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2 etc.) made a mod for Skyrim. It adds the Space Core from Portal 2, which will crash to the ground upon installation of the mod, allowing you to pick it up and carry around with you as it lets off various quips about space. And with the right know-how and help from the Space Core you can get your very own Dovahcore helmet, which is pretty neat.
  13. That's the spirit! Happy birthday guys, glad to hear y'all had a good one.
  14. I did rather enjoy the latest episode more than others. Could be that it was centered on my favourite character, could be that Rainbow Dash looks adorable in a ninja outfit. Either way, it was awesome.
  15. I adapted it! I can share the same opinion as a top youtube commenter, can't I? It's true though, hah. Too Soon is my favourite Hey Ocean song thus far.
  16. Well, yes. That was the point of it haha. Adapting any one Tintin comic doesn't make for enough material for a movie, so they based it on multiple comics. You're both right. The film was based on three of the original comics: The Crab with the Golden Claws (1941), The Secret of the Unicorn (1943), and Red Rackham's Treasure (1944). Anywho, the last movie I saw was the 2009 sci-fi Moon. It has a neat story, I enjoyed it. Quite different to what I normally watch, but it was good.
  17. May I ask how you go from the texture map image (like this) to those on character model views you've got there?
  18. Been obsessing about Adventure Time recently, although the obsession is drawing to a halt now. I've watched a lot of cast and creator interviews, and re-watched a ton of episodes though. Even had a go at drawin' up some of the characters. Love that show. Pendleton Ward is such a chill guy.
  19. I feel kind of bad for them, they've gone from 'that band, Hey Ocean' to 'that band that Rainbow Dash/Applejack sings for'. But hey, all press is good press, and the Brony culture will have only brought them more listeners and popularity, so that's good. That, and 'Some Chords' are my favourite songs from the album '4x4=12'. Interestingly enough, Raise Your Weapon was one of the first songs I heard from deadmau5. I'd only listened to 'Ghosts N Stuff' and it's various mixes, and decided to give some other deadmau5 stuff a listen, which happened to start with Raise Your Weapon. And at the time, I didn't even like it. The vocals got too high for my liking, but now it's one of my favourites. And what am I listening to? Take On Me by A-Ha! I woke up with it stuck in my head, and it's still there. I had no idea where it came from and why on Earth it was stuck in my head until a friend reminded me of it's appearance in the final episode of Chuck I saw recently. You can see Jeffster's full, relatively spoiler free performance of it here.
  20. Happy Birthday KimT! Hope it's a good one.
  21. Would the mysteries presented to us now be related to those times that seem so long ago? I'd have thought we'd only need the more recent information presented to us, like those flashbacks from the weird monk chap. I was thinking the blood puddles are from the people presented to us in that flashback, the previous group that explored this place, and the fabric samples would relate to them. I should check my memory to see if that fits...
  22. Challenge Be- oh huh? How long has it been? Did I doze off? What's going on... I had the idea to wash away the puddles of blood, but I figure they mark important locations where the previous group died or something, so perhaps it's best we leave them. Glad to see we got those bricks down from the leaves though.
  23. Challenge Begin. I noticed no one tried turning or twisting the nobs yesterday. On the wall, that is. I think I'll give that a try. Like safe-cracking!
  24. Listenin' to some Hey Ocean!
