Oh mein Gott. This is amazing! The overall look of this diorama is just awesome, with the fantastic building, the neat little bridge and pathway, the quaint river and the humble farm. The crocodile/dragon head designs on the roof corners are a unique and ingenious touch, as are the small windows on the roof. I love the side door leading down to the little pier, that is really cool, and the wall said door is attached to is nicely detailed, those 1x2 bricks look great, and there's some neat architectural design going on. The stained glass window at the rear of the building is magnificent, the colour really livens it up. On to the landscaping. The SNOT water is as always looking great, fits in wonderfully. The cliffs are all done very well, I'll have to learn how to do that without making it too monotonous or too haphazard. The ground itself is never dull, the flowers and stones and dirt and larger foliage are all nicely layed out. I love the small tree to the right of the main entrance, and trees made with the grass/flower stalks. The pathway looks very neat and natural with spots of grey and black speckled throughout it. The little area of the farm we see is also very cool, those BrickForge animals fit in nicely. I better wrap up now, there's only so many complimentary words I can reuse before I start drawling away... I can say this was well worth the wait. It's good to see that 1x2 brick pattern looks good, I'm planning on using that when I redesign King's Castle Siege to modular building quality. So, my final opinion, definately a stunning creation, two thumbs up. Also, I really like that tree stump... ~Peace

I may have had this problem, I'll have to check. I remember the same thing happening to some flags to, with the wavy design being reversed. Maybe it's something like that. ~Peace

Heheh, that's awesome. Makes me feel a twinge guilty having a box of minifig parts. ~Peace

Congratulations TheBrickster and WhiteFang!

Congratulations to the both of you! 2 very well deserved positions to two great members of Eurobricks! ~Peace -
Wow, sounds like a challenge! 2 months to sort all those bricks. I wish you all the best, and good luck! ~Peace

I voted for Vampire. Having recently read the issue of Dr. McNinja with Dracula in, and having loved Lego's official version of a vampire, it was just the most reasonable choice. ~Peace

FORCE UNLEASHED... decal please!
iamded replied to alexrider7's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
He said he lost it, not received a broken one or didn't receive one at all. Ordering a new one from replacement parts would be stealing, unless you can buy parts like that now. On topic, er, sorry, I can't really help you there. Sorry! ~Peace EDIT: Also, this will probably be moved to the Minifig Customisation Network, where it will likely get more attention. Asking is this thread could help too. -
Ah, finally managed to get my hands on a controller with this game running in the X-box 360! A truly magnificent game, living right up to my expectations. I love those lightning-saber combos, lots of fun. I never did get to throw my lightsaber through several trees and into a Wookie though. The finishing move combos are neat, much easier than in God of War, thank goodness, and always with a fantastic display of force powers. I still remember studying the interior of that AT-ST after I sliced it in half. The black lightsaber is an interesting idea, I still don't get how it works though. I like the addition of the unstable and compressed sabers, but I think damage bonuses or something unique to the different types (other than looks) could be neat. ~Peace

Oh look, I didn't even notice that! Bonus points! ~Peace

Hmm, tough decision, but ultimately I went for 4 as to me it feels the most 'ruiney'. All crumbly and collapsed. The first entry would have gotten my vote, but it didn't look to ruined for me, more like the entry to some ruins or something. Number 6 is also very cool, it makes me want to see the rest of the dino. ~Peace

Well, that's fantastic. Such an improvement on the previous version. It's amazing what you can learn on Eurobricks, without it I wouldn't be using SNOT or any of those other clever techniques. A great MOC of a tragic scene. ~Peace

I agree, a link would be good for those who haven't seen it. ~Peace

That is some sweet art there. Fits in great with the Lego style and the Star Wars art. I'd love to see more! ~Peace

I reckon a great set would be the fight between Vader's Apprentice and the Felucian Rancor. That way we would have a Rancor design, and could release other sets with it in. ~Peace

The duel between Qui-Gon, Obi Wan and Darth Maul. Ah, so very very cool. ~Peace

New BrickArms Prototypes
iamded replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I love that bazooka and rocket round. The RPG is great and all, but it's just not a bazooka. I sure hope Will puts this into production. The grenade launcher is another new favourite of mine, the removable chamber is a great touch. Fantastic new prototypes indeed, kudos to Will, and to the enigma that is badger for bringing us the news! ~Peace -
Oh really? What makes you say that? I've been using Firefox for years and haven't encountered a single error. Well, actually, now it's 3.0.3, but that's hardly a difference. On topic, this is very strange. Does it only do this in Lego S@H? Have you tried the product pages like castle.lego.com or batman.lego.com? Sorry I can't be of much help. My only suggestion would be to make sure your browser is up to date, but that's already been said. ~Peace

Good choices. Sons of Plunder is my current favourite song. However, having come back from a 5 day holiday with very little Disturbed with me on my 512 mp3 player which ran out of battery thus preventing me from listening to my music, I am now listening to Inside the Fire, of course by Disturbed. I need my fix. Then I'll probably slip back into Ten Thousand Fists, as that's my favourite Disturbed album right now, then I might listen to some Tool, as there's this one part in Sons of Plunder that sounds a lot like Tool, and always makes me wan to listen to the song Schism for some reason. Another great band I've been listening to (that was the cause of the lack of Disturbed on my mp3, as the majority of their first album was taking up all the space) is Hurt. Now that's good listening. I only have their album Vol. 1, but I expect to get Vol. 2 in the near future. Seriously, I suggest you listen to Rapture at least, and if you like it, go from there. is a bit crazy/creepy, but it has the edited version of the song (which I think was unnecessary as there's no profanity or anything...)~Peace

How can you not love Welcome to the Jungle? Really though, I personally prefer G'n'R, as I actually have heard their songs. Maybe if I get listening to Velvet Revolver my opinions will sway, but G'n'R is a great band. ~Peace

Very cool, Grevious! Their version of The Riddler is certainly original, but I do love the question mark design on it. They all look fantastic. ~Peace

Oh, wow! Those are awesome! I am definately picking up an M21 Sniper or two next order. That SPAS-esque Combat Shotgun looks fantastic, I'll get at least two of those Zombie Defence Packs. Of course that Combat Knife is also irresistible, so I'll have to pick up that Covert Weapons Pack. I love that black M1 Garand, gives it a more modern look. Couple of questions; Will the Combat Shotgun and/or Combat Knife be sold separately? Do you at Brickarms worry that the M21 will make the older Sniper obsolete? Hey, wait a minute, where'd the other sniper go? Has it been withdrawn from production? Is this why the Combat Shotgun isn't sold separately, because it might make the original shotgun obsolete? Sorry about all the questions, but I figured you were the guy to answer them, and others may be wondering the same thing. ~Peace

Now you just need to sort them into pieces. Really though, great job. That must have taken a lot of time. Last I sorted my bricks, it took just under a week of non-stop sorting. Your collection however looks to be at least 4 times bigger than mine. So how long did it all take? ~Peace

A moment of silence for iamded who has just died of happiness at this news and these pictures and all of this awesomeness... Don't worry, I'm not really dead. ~Peace
