  1. Final Fantasy: Advent Children. Wow. Just, wow. The detail, I can't imagine how much effort it took to make. I've never played the games myself but I feel the movie explained everything you need to know, it had it's own story and wrapped it up in the end, so you needn't have to have already played the games. ~Peace
  2. I'm here for ya buddy! Wow, interesting revelations indeed! Sheckles, Dragonators father. Cyborgs not part of the swarm. All our beloved team mates turned to emotionally dull cyborgs. Ian Ded clearly the best, liveliest and most lovable and easy-to-relate-to member. Hmm hmm hmmmm. I have to say I am not looking forward to the finale though. Not at all. Okay, I really really am looking forward to it, I just wish it wasn't the end. If it doesn't finish with something like "The End! ... <Or is it?>" with Dragonator's charred arm bursting out of his grave all dramatic like with the promise of future continuation, I will be disappointed. But hey, at least Interactive Supervillain will be there to comfort me. [P.S. Where's that Supervillian with the robot arm, blue jumpsuit and handsome, toussled hair, who goes by the alias 'Evil Ded'? ] Good to see Interactive Apocalypse is still alive and well, great to hear from ya! ~Peace
  3. Keep this up and I'll have to start making some Call of Duty 5 MOCs. More awesome weapons, can't wait for their release! ~Peace
  4. Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I feel inspired to make a troll and Dwarf pod now... ~Peace
  5. I know what you're talking about. I've been busy with school and other things like that, with little time for Lego at all. I was recently inspired to build again by a competition on FBTB, which was fun and gave me a few ideas for future MOCs too. Maybe if you were to enter some competitions it might get you back into the spirit? ~Peace
  6. Thanks guys. It may be noteworthy that I used parts from only TLC's skeleton things; the boat from 7029, 2 carriages from 7092's, and the skeleton tower (7039). Completely forgot about the barricades from 7091, they could have been useful. Anyway, it was more fun and challenging to limit parts, even though I had the majority of pieces left over. And Batbrick, I've been away because I've been quite busy of late, and I'm really just popping back in. Still got lots of stuff to do... ~Peace
  7. Thanks guys. I actually didn't think of them as hands but rather just detail when I was building it, but that's a good idea. Those are neat creations. However I opted for a minifig as I think it would have been easier to fit that a brick-built pilot. I uploaded a pic with the cockpit opened to show him. ~Peace
  8. Something I put together on my day off for the contest over at FBTB. Grabbed all the Skellie sets I have, deconstructed them, and started building. Picture is link. I've got the photo box set up, now I just need to sort the lighting. All feedback appreciated. ~Peace
  9. I came across Eurobricks when looking for the 'new' 2007 Castle line. I saw it was a friendly place and decided to join. ~Peace
  10. Ah, interesting topic, ricecracker! Let's see... Ah, the ever observant iamded. It's interesting to see my first impressions of the '07 Castle line now in 2009. Whining about my lack of money and the extreme set limitations of New Zealand... ~Peace
  11. Wow, this is an awesome MOC! Great turret design, great platform, you've even got the two types of wall in there. And of course, the sludge of death, which you have also done exceedingly well. This is a fantastic MOC indeed, oo7! ~Peace
  12. Great pics, Apache! As if I needed more inspiration to buy this. Well, actually, seeing as this is close to 300 NZD online, the inspiration helped. I'll have to wait 'till next year to get this, but it'll be considerably cheaper then. Hopefully. ~Peace
  13. Wow, that's amazing . So detail-ey. Absolutelay amazing. Fantastic job. ~Peace
  14. Hi, yeah, that link doesn't work. Which is a shame, because I'm interested in taking a look at the site. Lego and 40K are two of my hobbies too, despite the fact that I don't own any 40K figures, but rather the games... ~Peace
  15. Aw crap, I got so far into naming all the creatures (including the Djander Bird, Boulder Crab, Thorny Granyl Reptile and Trondosaur) and then when I went to add another name the text was gone, and no amount of Ctrl-Z or Ctrl-Y would bring it back. And there was no 'back' or 'forward' in pages. Anyway, great new chapter, Batbrick! That is one sweet wall. Vicious thing, that is. I voted to go around and bring more troops with you. Perhaps the strangest combination, but I reckon better safe than sorry. Of course, another part want me to call in reinforcements and go through Swarm territory, but I don't want all Sondra's troops getting carved up while you barely escape alive - or worse. Looking forward to the decision, keep it up!
  16. Al these people saying, "Thank God I have Avatar sets I can enter," and, "Oh no I can't enter because I don't have any Avatar sets". It's ridiculous. Next competition/raffle thing should be based around something Lego hasn't made anything of. Sorry, I just found their excuses slightly annoying... ~Peace
  17. Woo! Finally Avatar and Lego are getting more attention! Great competition. As for all those complaining they don't own any Avatar sets, I don't see that as an excuse. Be creative, isn't that the point in Lego? I'll be sure to try enter this one on time! ~Peace
  18. Nothing better than a happy little story to start off the day! Thanks for the laugh! (And awesome MOCs!) ~Peace
  19. Very nice! But... it just cut short! I need to read more! ~Peace
  20. Very nice Hinckley. I love how the brown + frown work together so well in this, just as in the brewery. The roof is neat too, with that handy, er, handle. Quite clever. I do love cosy interiors, and this one is very nice indeed, with everything the crew needs. Cool lathe too, now they just need a welder. Great job again, looking forward to seeing more additions to Hinckleytown, Bazooville, Moonlight, TIP(?), whatever it is... ~Peace
  21. My mistake, I meant when I first saw it online, I should have clarified that. Sorry. ~Peace
  22. Great review, svelte_corps! This was to me the most interesting of the construction sets in the '09 line-up. It makes for a great little scene on it's own, and I'm sure will fit in well with any Lego city (even if the streets are already crowded with the hundreds of construction vehicles collected over the years... ). The petunias are an interesting addition, but I can't see them staying on the windowsill when the building's being hoisted into the air, instead just plummeting to the ground (oh no, not again). And if it's more of an after-construction detail, then why not add a separate interior to be installed as well? Really I think that's the only way to improve the set, add some details for the interior and stick them in a container that fits in the back of the cargo truck. Okay, maybe I'm asking too much. Anyway, it's a neat set, with a perfect review to share it with us. Thanks again svelte_corps. ~Peace
  23. It's an interesting idea, and it certainly seems to fit well, but it still seems a bit boxey to me. ~Peace
  24. I'm thinking that bad guy's helmet could make for some cool Warhammer 40K Ork helmets... Space Police III ON! ~Peace
  25. Slow down, take a breath. You should know that titles are indeed very serious business. If not for titles, people might assume that I'm some sort of Pirate monkey, or Space monkey, or not even a monkey at all. They might even assume I don't eat cheese. If not for titles, people may not know DJ Force is the Thread Killer. If not for titles, people would be clueless to the fact Adam gets annoying after a while, or Hinckley's not a witch. Titles can teach, titles can tell stories, and titles can even warn people of the dangers of fooling around. So, good sir, think of this next time you think nobody takes titles seriously. Titles - serious business. ~Peace
