1. LegoJoe - No quote (#22) 2. Olog - "Why pirates are so horrible..." (#16) 3. pe668 - "Colonic Cannonball" (#17) I found it quite difficult to narrow the entries down to my favourites, and even harder to narrow them down to just 3. Then deciding which order to put them in... LegoJoe's entry appealed to me for two reasons. The first is the build, each brick fits in perfectly, it's all built just so well. It looks great. The second reason is the method of cruelty, it's certainly original. I can just imagine the soldier's shock... I loved the story behind Olog's entry, a very cool and funny scene. A great build as well, I love the chimney. pe668's entry I chose because of the simple yet still detailed, colourful scene, as well as the unusual method of killing the Imperial. The minifigs are build and positioned perfectly, and the skeleton under the platform is a wonderful touch. And a special mention for 74louloute's entry (#28), which I found very original and entertaining, with some neat building techniques used. So, good luck everyone! You all did well, and I look forward to seeing you came out on top. ~Peace

CCCVI Secret Hideout -- Inn: The Empty Barrel
iamded replied to mrts's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is fantastic! I love the wall details, I'm definately using this style (with due credit of course). Heh, the secret entrance in the barrel reminds me of a level in Hitman: Blood Money, where this same concept was used. ~Peace -
There is a place in your computer where all the information such as custom settings and save games are stored. It's kept separate from the game files in case you want to keep them when you uninstall the game (hence why it asks). They should be stored in your documents, under my games, then under CallofDuty4, or something like that. ~Peace EDIT: It seems this isn't so for Call of Duty. I had the smae problem with Fallout 3, but I somehow found them. I'll keep looking for a way. It seems they should be stored here; C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\screenshots I don't have any screenshots at the moment due to my profile being wiped, so I can't verify this. Sorry.

I assume it's based on this type? Looking good so far, very nice barrel. ~Peace

Ragnarok is actually the end of the world / beginning of a new world in Norse mythology. Don't worry, I learnt that from video games too, in Age of Mythology. ~Peace

I just can not picture seeing that in person. I don't even know how chrome black exists! That's amazing. ~Peace

Ah, very cool. I love the sloping in the second floor ground, great touch. Great rubble and over-grown look, and I love all the wooden beams poking through everywhere. ~Peace

Those rock monsters... they look like they'd make great trash cans... ~Peace -
Fantastic MOC, DNL! That cross design, so simple, yet so effective! I absolutely love it. Loads of great details, an over-all fantastic MOC! ~Peace

Another great MOC, Batbrick! It took a while, but it's fantastic! First, my choices. What to do? Follow up on the clue Sheckles gave us. Dragonator's outpost could be too heavily defended or could lead to another encounter with him that we don't really need right now. And a journey to the mountain could be interesting, but you shouldn't just drop everything and leave. After all, you'd be abandoning the people that did all this to bust you out. Besides, this item could be quite valuable for you... What to do in your spare time? Your girlfriend. Wait, that didn't come out right... Or did it? : Really though you haven't seen her in ages, she did help bust you out, and it looks like that other random guy is getting awfully close to her... On to the MOC, fantastic! A great idea using a boat that's been run aground (or left aground by the lack of water... :grin). I'm not sure about the blue, but I guess there was really no choice in that matter. Great job with the whole angled thing, that takes skill and you pulled it off nicely. It keeps that great post-Apoc style with the browns, blacks and tans and those barbed wire loops fit in nicely! The weapons are all, of course, pretty bad-megablocks and mean looking, I wouldn't mind having a couple of them with me! Not sure about having all those explosives stored together in an open area though, if there's one thing I've learnt from video games, it's that if it can explode, it will explode, and everything around it will explode. :pir-skull: The catapult is a fun feature, I guarantee if Lego were to make a post-Apoc line, they'd definately condone that. So, in conclusion, this is one very sweet, very awesome, very post-Apoc MOC. Congratulations, and looking forward to the next part! Oh, and great character development/story too. ~Peace

I've only made a couple of orders, one of which contained a broken piece. But the seller sent me a replacement part free of charge and even let me keep the squished piece. I do hope your luck improves though. That's one annoying coincidence. ~Peace

I can't wait to see what that Troll Mountain Fortress will look like. The Troll witch will be a sweet addition to the Troll army. Hmm, that sad minifig face in the 6241 Loot Island Pirates set would make for a good prisoner's face. Ooh, can't wait! ~Peace

Once again, thank you for this wonderful review! This looks like one sweet set. I must say I'm not a big fan of the base plate, but the set comes with some great parts, and again, the minifigs are fantastic. Printed pieces galore as well, that I love. Thanks again! ~Peace
