  1. Interesting! Well I did love Firefly, so I'll jump on Cowboy Bebop and ad Outlaw Star to the list. Wolfs Rain sounds interesting, on the list it goes. I should have known to go straight to Peppy for advise about anime.
  2. For you people getting into Team Fortress 2, try contacting our resident Scary Madmin, Shadows. He's the king of TF2, or so I hear. (Just take a look at that back-pack...)
  3. Cheers Peppy, I'll add it to the list. I finished up Samurai Champloo and saw the first episode of Cowboy Bebop. Looks to be interesting, the basic theme reminds me a tad of Firefly (being space cowboys and all). I really enjoyed Samurai Champloo. I very much liked the characters of Mugen and Jin, although I may be biased with Mugen since I'm a huge fan of Steve Blum. It was a good series and I'm glad to have discovered it.
  4. Oh, come on man. I don't want to over-hype it, but trust me when I say it doesn't disappoint. Give it a watch already. Alright, thanks, I'll take your word for that. I've definitely heard of Fullmetal Alchemist before, and Brotherhood has been mentioned to me previously, so I'll add it to the list. I've also heard mention of Code Geass and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Has anyone here seen them and can tell me if it's worth watching, and where I should start with each series?
  5. My favourite band Hurt are releasing a new album very soon. I'm super excited about it, and have been listening to one of the new tracks they shared. The video's pretty interesting as well.
  6. And so, after 2 years, Red Moon has reached it's bloody conclusion! Congratulations, you magnificently scummy bastards. It's been an interesting game Hinck. Thanks for sticking with it all the way through and bringing it to the end. You did damn fine job. Great job on figuring it all out too, Tammo. Kudos. And again, congrats on the win CM, Draggy, Siegfried, Rufus, Foog and Fangy. Y'all deserve it. I'll have more to say later no doubt, but that's enough for now.
  7. Wh... what the hell did I just read? Look, never mind. I was one of the fans who was disappointed by the ending of Mass Effect 3. Not just because it wasn't the ending I expected or was hoping for, but because the ending just... didn't make sense at all to me. Everything you had worked for throughout the entire trilogy, just thrown away thanks to the aftermath of the end-game events. I am thankful that the fan response regarding the ending was so intense that it actually succeeded in prompting a modification of the ending. For those unaware, Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is Bioware's response to the fans frenzy, which will add extended scenes and more closure to the endings. It doesn't change the endings, which is fair enough, but it will hopefully elaborate on the more 'wtf' points they left us with and provide answers. Oh, and it will be free. There's also Mass Effect 3: Resurgence, a free (Again, free. Really. The last thing I was expecting from EA... ) multiplayer DLC pack that adds 3 new weapons, 2 new maps, and 6 entirely new character classes including Batarian and Geth characters. A pre-release image was leaked a while back, which turns out to have been true after all. Look forward to playing that in 2 days as it releases on the 10th of this month.
  8. I finally managed to see the first 2 episodes of The Legend of Korra in 720p, and they were glorious! I am so excited for this series. I'm overjoyed that they managed to retain that quality and sense of awesomeness from the original Avatar series, I was worried that The Legend of Korra wouldn't live up to it, but it entirely did. I have high expectations for this series. I'm also beginning to get into this whole crazy thing called 'anime'... Yes, I got a few anime series from some friends and have been giving them a watch. I'm starting with Samurai Champloo, with Cowboy Bebop and Death Note lined up for after. I'm also quite interested in the Hellsing Ultimate series, but after watching the 'abridged' versions I think I'd be disappointed. I highly recommend anime fans give them a watch, there's only 2 episodes at 10 and 15 minutes each, and they're damn hilarious. Hey, I'll even for ya.
  9. Shields! Shields... Hmmm. I don't suppose any of the knobs have some distinction between them? Perhaps, 4 knobs of type A, 4 knobs of type B, perchance? In the mean time I'll continue to randomly figure this thing out. I'd like to try the two following combinations:
  10. It's not too late to chip in my two cents, is it? I had fun this game. I thought my role was... interesting, to say the least. Starting off as a neutral with my only goal to stay alive, I figured it would be a pretty easy ride through. Then zakura contacts me claiming his life is tied to mine or something... things got interesting pretty quickly. The conclusion was nicely done too, well done badboy. Congratulations to the winners too, well played. And of course, my character role:
  11. I'd like to stick all the yellow and red shields on the left side, and all the white and red shields on the right side. Worth a shot, right?
  12. I understand your suspicion, but surely you recall the Monk/voice mentioning the amount of blood covered studs represents the puddle number? One stud is puddle 1, 2 studs is puddle 2, etcetera. It makes things easier on us, and if the voice had to provide an explanation it would probably be because the blood is drying up or something. Anyway, moving on. Fred, I appreciate your bringing together of the clues like that. Your omission of Sheldon's clue could have been plain oversight, or it could be you trying to manipulate us. Hm.
  13. I find it interesting that the person accusing the alleged demons is actually using the clues that we've been so very much encouraged to used, wheras the demons are trying to casually brush off the accusations without actually helping in any way. Do any of these alleged demons have any other alternative solution then? It's clear this is our last few hours here unless we stop Vacuus, and I don't see any of the accused going for that. Right now we need to find that sword and take down the head demon, who is apparently Fred, in order to stop the big bad. This is our last chance to win this, people. I suppose, looking at the odds of things, if we... 'took care' of Fred and nothing happened, we'd know Chris is a nut, but if Fred is the original demon, then surely something would happen and perhaps his converts could be freed... I for one am willing to hear Chris out, and I think our first priority is finding that shiny demon-slaying sword. Challenge Begin.
  14. If I may interject, I found a strand of dark orange hair in the first puddle last night, as well as dark brown fabric in the fifth puddle. I was curious about this 'throwing gems in the water' thing, but I'm inclined to believe it now. See, yesterday when I suggested we all dunk our gems under the water (an idea no one else seemed to want to follow...), I myself dunked my gem under and it was revealed to me that it was red. I advise any non-demon doubters of this gem+water=colour reveal trick to try it for themselves and see.
  15. Um... I'm gonna go out on a limb here... I'd like to take my gem and dunk it under the water. I... can I do that? Do I have a gem? Why don't we all do this and find the demons and win the game? It's not gonna be that simple is it... Welll, might as well Challenge: Begin then.
  16. So... how do we deal with this then, once we know for sure he's the demon? Hold him down and stab him with the shark's teeth? Maybe the time to fight that was hinted at by the voice in the 'rules' is coming up. I'll hold my shark's tooth tightly. Also, did I have a pointy rib bone from Red Moon 1 or something? Protect me, bones!
  17. Yesterday you wouldn't have received a second clue even if you were supposed to, because the people's choice votes were cancelled out because 'someone couldn't be trusted', right? So the challenge winners votes were counted, but the other tallied votes were dismissed because of the trust issues. At least, that's what I gathered from it. Still have no idea what would have happened if the votes went through. It would be nice to know if they'd stack or not, but I suppose the only way to know is to try it, and I'd rather not risk losing a clue by having a double-winner in the vote tally.
  18. Tony, you're making me jealous... Let's us non-challenge-winners vote for people that the challenge winners do not vote for. If the challenge winners vote for the same people as the rest of us, then there's less people getting clues, therefore there's less clues. Yesterday the challenge winners voted for Diana, Fred and Chris to recieve clues, and then - after tallying the votes - we all voted for those same people to receive clues. I'm not sure if they would have received two clues each, and if they wouldn't have then that would be three potential clues gone. Perhaps I can clarify that with the smart-megablocks and charming voice,? If someone is voted for by both the challenge winners and the rest of the crowd, would they receive two clues? Nice to see your here, Penny. Er, I don't suppose you could share with us your clue you received in Chapter 4? I think I'll vote for my husband Tony (Bob_) to receive a clue. He's not incriminated by any blood puddles, and it will be good to bring a new person in to the clue circle.
  19. That makes sense. To add to that, the monk said anyone would die if they bled that much. We know the blood is from people in this room, and I imagine they wouldn't need that blood if they have demon in their veins... I've been taking note of the people nominated to receive clues. I can list the people from each chapter if requested, but for now I'll just list the people and how many clues they have. One clue - Samantha (Rufus, Diesel (Draggy) and Penny (Peppy). Two clues - Sigourney (Sieggy) and Chris (Tammo). Three clues - Fred (Murdock) and Diana (Foog). I'm not entirely sure about Chris though, as on Day 3 it's not clear if it was him or Tony that recieved a clue...
  20. Space ships and rockets, my oh my. I admit, I didn't understand what the clue was saying before, but now I'm finally clicking. How worrying that one of those three could be a traitor. By now, Diana and Fred have each received three clues, and Chris has received two. It will be a pain trying to figure out any misinformation any potential demons have fed us...
  21. Puddle one had tan and sand green fabric in it? Well Richard, it seems you're the only one here wearing sand green - and hey, there's the tan too. Maybe stay away from the area of puddle #1, eh? Oooh, more clues. So now we know puddle 4 has dark tan fabric in it. I'm confused by your first clue though, as it doesn't specifically state the exact blood puddle the fabric was found in. If you looked in the right side of the room, then it could either be in puddle 2 or puddle 4. But- wait. If you got the clue in chapter 2, and the blood didn't appear until chapter 4, then it would have been in puddle 2, yes? Which means we're doubly sure that puddle 2 has brown fabric in it, since both your and Fred's clues stated so. Of course, if the clue said you found the fabric on the general right side of the room, then it could very well have been in the area that puddle 4 would appear in, right? Which means puddle 4 would have dark tan and brown fabric, pointing to... no one! Well I guess that rules that out then.
  22. So, lemme sort this out. We've got tan fabric in the first puddle - not that much of a lead yet, Fred, Diesel, Richard and Sylvia all wear tan. Brown cloth and possibly tan fabric as well in the second puddle - not sure on that one yet. Sylvia and Fred both wear brown and tan, with Penny and Chris wearing brown. Dark blue fabric, black fabric and dark orange hair in the third puddle. Er... how does that make you feel, Sheldon? Seems a bit ominous. If these puddles are a prediction of future events, then it might be wise for you to keep well away from puddle 3. Nothing on puddle 4 that we know of. Of interest, Fred, Diana and Tony have shared all their clues publicly. Samantha has said it's not about blood or fabric or anything, which is better than nothing. I haven't heard anything from Penny, Siegourney or Diesel about their clues, but I'm sure they'll share them if they can help us...
  23. I thought your first clue said the tan fabric was in the first puddle? Yeah, you definitely said first puddle. Finding two scraps of fabric that match your clothing in separate puddles of blood doesn't really point to you. If they were in the same puddle, then sure, they might. Unless you also found a scrap of tan fabric in the second puddle, on top of the tan fabric in the first puddle?
  24. Right. So, there's a big mystery that we must solve in order to get out of here alive. Also, I remember someone important mentioning we may at some point be inclined to attack, kill or search people in our group. Remember that for when we find the demon among us, as we will have to kill him to stop him from feeding our souls to Vacuus - we don't want that. Also, we should all be prepared in case this demon decides to attack us. We're all armed with a shark's tooth or two, if that helps at all. Maybe shark's teeth are the demon's weakness... Allow me to split this little adventure up into chapters and see if I can't gather up all the clues. So Chapter 1 there was a puddle of blood, 5/14 of us participated in the challenge and Samantha (Rufus) nominated Siegourney (Siegfried), Fred (Cornelius Murdock) and Diana (Fugazi) who in turn nominated Samantha (Rufus) and Fred (CorneliusMurdock) to receive clues. Chapter 2 brings another mysterious puddle of blood. It's established that if that blood belonged to someone, they'd be very dead. Also, no-one was bleeding, so it can't have been from any of us. We found 8 knobs on the walls, and they seemed significant, but we couldn't figure out what to do with them. 8/14 of us participated in the challenge, and Siegourney (Siegfried) nominated Sheldon (Shadows), Samantha (Rufus) and Fred (Cornelius Murdock) who in turn nominated Siegourney (Siegfried) and Fred (Cornelius Murdock) to receive clues. In Chapter 3 a frog tells William secrets, there's another puddle of blood, and the rules for clue nominating change. Instead of one challenge winner nominating three people who nominate two people to get clues, not the four challenge winners nominate two people to get clues. Samantha (Rufus), Diana (Fugazi), Chris (Tamamono) and Siegourney (Siegfried) nominate Tony (Tamamono), Diana (Fugazi) and Diesel (Dragonator) to receive clues. Fred reveals his first clue – he found tan fabric in the first blood puddle. Samantha reveals that her clue apparently had nothing to do with fabric, colours, or blood. The monk reveals that puddle of blood once belonged to a person in the room... Chapter 4 - more blood. Samantha (Rufus), Diana (Fugazi), Fred (CorneliusMurdock) and Chris (Tamamono) nominate Penny (Peppermint M), Diana (Fugazi) and Siegourney (Siegfried) to receive clues. Diana reveals she found dark blue fabric in the third puddle of blood, and Chris reveals that he found black fabric in the same puddle. (Siegourney and Sheldon are the only two wearing both dark blue and black, by the way...) Cue vision of a figure holding a clear gem being stabbed, followed by figure standing in puddle of blood holding green gem. Say Samantha, your clue didn't involve gems, did it? And now we're sitting at Chapter 5. No new blood puddle! Donna (Dannylonglegs), Samantha (Rufus) and Diana (Fugazi) get to choose three lucky people to receive clues, but wait, there's more! In addition to that, everyone votes for someone to get a clue, which the top three shall get. Sure, Sylvia has mentioned some of these points, but it took me ages to form these words in my brain so I'm gonna say it all anyway! I'm going to vote: Fred Thomas (CorneliusMurdock) to receive a clue, as he was the first to share one.
  25. Yes, a sailing we did go! And look at that, more bricks spurring an onset of "Challenge Begin"s!
