  1. Nice military vehicle. The steering looks nice. The ammo chain is awesome also. The wheels look a bit small though IMHO.
  2. Personally I want some more Hogwarts stuff, but I think there are a lot more places that should be done also (Number 4 Pivet Drive, Grimmaund Place, the Ministry of Magic, etc). It would be really cool (Though LEGO won't do it of course) if they made sets of various rooms (And hallways and stairs and such) and built them in the style of the modular buildings (Rooms can be put together in different combinations using technic pins) with a bit of the outside of the castle on each room, so a person could buy all the sets and make a largeish Hogwarts.
  3. Welcome back Skipper. If you hurt your back to the point where you couldn't easily sit down though, how did you keep working with LEGO?
  4. Awesome tower 'LL'. I like the rockwork a lot, especially right around the base of the tower. The white stuff on the ground supposed to be snow? I love that burnt looking tree, nice use of (I think, I can't quite see for sure) droid arms.
  5. I'm guessing it's an error in the code for LDD. You might try reinstalling to fix any possible download errors or to get bug fixes. Did you just get LDD or just recently update it?
  6. Same here, great design, great parts... Not so great price though. I'll probably stick to Bricklink for dark red, it's not worth 200 dollars.
  7. Awesome jeep Brickdoctor. I love the steering feature (Though it would be cooler if there was some way to make it work with the steering wheel at this scale). I think it might need some more tiling on the back, that part looks a bit rough.
  8. I had that kit too. I think I had it on a pillar of transclear parts until the wing broke off again and I threw it out a window into a rubbish bin... (And thus began my still continuing quest to rid myself of all the useless, broken, dysfunctional, crappy junk I've accumulated...)
  9. Very nice helicopter 'JustinYum'. I like the angled wings with all the guns on them (Though it kinda bugs me that there is the dark grey there, looks a bit out of place to have so much in one spot). Nice colouring (In most spots, the 2 2x2 yellow tiles on each wing look a bit much, but oh well...), though the propellers do need a bit of yellow on them I think (Perhaps 1x1 yellow tile on the end of each part of the propeller?). Also would have looked cooler I think if there was one of the ADU stickers on it somewhere (Not a big fan of stickers myself, but it seems like most military craft have stuff painted on them saying where they are from and such, and ADU is essentially a military, so...). I like the slightly angled cockpit section also.
  10. I was installing LEGO Universe a while back and when my CD drive is on, it heats up my computer REALLY bad, so I made a little stand underneath it. Fortunately nothing melted . A few months ago I also tried to make an M&M dispenser, but I gave up after I realized I needed too many of the parts for a project (I ended up giving up on that project too though, so meh)...
  11. Cool burned/ruined building. The cannon does seem a bit off, perhaps the barrel should be bigger? Also kinda feel sorry for the redcoats, there are 4(?) British there and I don't see any dead Americans. Interesting American flag design also, though I think the blue section should be shorter.
  12. Right now I use MOCpages and upload duplicates of everything on Flickr, but I don't think I'm going to be using MOCpages anymore because I find it is often too slow, crashes too much, often has problems with displaying images, it takes forever to put images into groups, I prefer the Flickr user interface, and MOCpages really just sometimes seems like 90% of the people on there must be 3 years old (Bad spelling/grammar, inability to post any comments more constructive or interesting than "Nice <Insert whatever the picture is> dude", and comments such as "Cool. Come check out my stuff!"). Also on Flickr you can upload non-LEGO stuff, which I use sometimes. And so far I've never experienced any problem on Flickr other than a it of slowness on rare occasion.
  13. Cool restaurant 'Matn'. Nice slightly angled windows in the front. Nice interior also. Nice use of the old style hinges for the black keys on the piano. What part is used for the TV upstairs?
  14. Nice MOC 'Hammelgeie'. I love the use of the 1x1 round plates for the suckers on the tentacles coming up, and the ship in general. The big hole in the ship looks perfect, especially with the various bits of debris strewn throughout the nearby water. The water itself looks nice also, such as the foamy look from the white and light blue areas near where stuff is falling in and tentacles coming out. Any plans to remake the ship separate from this (Intact)?
  15. So, you really just have a big pile somewhere of opened up bags? (What exactly is the reason behind this? No one would buy an opened bag, LEGO won't take them back, most likely you can't use them for anything (Depending on how the bag is opened), and I doubt there is a collectors market for them?)
  16. Well for the Taj Mahal, it is one of the biggest sets ever released. Perhaps the extra weight of all the parts made it more difficult to accuratly check the parts inside for some reason? Or perhaps they reasoned that since there were so many parts it would be harder to find the particular parts needed, so they included a bunch of extras of some parts so you wouldn't spend half an hour looking for one part if you didn't sort the parts before building (With big sets this can be quite a problem, I once spent 45 minutes looking for a single plate when working on the Tower Brige)
  17. Oh well, since this is already bumped... For the studs on top of the windscreen, you could use A Tile, Modified 2 x 3 with 2 Clips, and either move the windscreen forward 1 stud, or just have it stick over a bit. It's not out in light bley, but it was in blue this year. For the studs on the printed part, if you lowered it by 1 plate you could put a tile over it and remove the studs, or lower by 2 plates and move forward 1 stud and have cheese slopes on it. Of course, either would mess up the front section... I also think the engine fin woullook nicer if you had an inverted slope on the back to continue the general curve there, the reversing looks... odd... Otherwise, great fighter. I like the landing gears a lot.
  18. That's good I guess... Now they just need to shorten the booklets, and find a way to make ABS without petroleum... (I worry about the day the world runs out of petroleum, what happens to LEGO? It's only 100 something years away...)
  19. Flat side up unless they need to be the other way for some reason. Because minifig hands aren't used for official separate parts. Tireless wheels are used sometimes (Cannons in pirate sets) and now turntables are used in sets as just the bottom (And possibly just the top, I don't remember). So until hands/arms/armless torsos/legs/legless torsos are used in official sets, that stuff will all be pre-assembled. Also the hands are smaller than just about every other part (Except 1x1 studs and a few other tiny parts, and thus a greater choking hazard than many other parts.
  20. Nice steampunk stuff. Interesting walking functions on the last one. The skyhorse is definitely my favorite though. Is there an interior or just motors and such? I like the decorative bits on the front also. Interesting design of the side propellers, I happen to be using a similar idea for an airship also (Perhaps one day I'll finish it, its been sitting on a table for like 3 weeks...)
  21. If its a lot, I sell them at the yearly garage sale. If its just a part, I normally put it on a park bench or something for a kid to find. Badly damaged ones are thrown away.
  22. I've probably had about 15 experiences with customer service (Combo of breaking a lot of ball joints and being VERY unlucky with missing parts). Every time except once they sent the parts I needed, and the other time it was just a few small parts that I had about 500 of so it didn't really matter much anyway. Did you try sending it again? Sometimes they have problems where the message just gets lost or the website isn't working right and isn't sent or something like that, so they may not have even gotten it.
  23. I noticed about a month ago (But it may have started before, since I don't look at user profiles that often) that when veiwing user profiles, the Special Tags don't display properly. Rather, it displays the URL to view the pictures, but not the images themselves. Other images, such as the user's image and images of their friends. I checked to make sure the images still exist (By copying and pasting the URL), and they all do. Over the last month I also checked this on 3 computers (2 running Windows Vista, 1 running XP) and on both Firefox and Internet Explorer 8. I also tried restarting the computers, hard refreshing, logging in and out, and about 10 other things. The problem persisted no matter what I did. Below is a screenshot showing the problem.

    Ah I guess that's it.
  25. Yep. Right up there with saying what you can and can't do with your phone.
