  1. It's where I have always looked to see what animals I don't have. But EBAY is where i bought two lots of the good Dinosaurs. I saved over $50.00 over bricklink prices!
  2. Thanks for the heads up on the Pleasanton store! I've been to the Santa Clara store and I'm going to check out the San Mateo store too. I'll cross Pleasanton off of my list.
  3. Usally made of paper, sometimes wood and I've also seen a metal one once. There was the "Christmas Box" but that has expired. What I believe is being talked about here is you can buy a whole shipping box of a single piece that the LEGO store recieves.
  4. I have also heard from 2 different LEGO stores that the Town Hall is next to retire. They both said, and this is an almost exact quote: "It's not that they haven't been selling well, just not as well as expected and the Grand Emporium is STILL doing really well." And because of this and the fact that I already had the Grand Emporium, I bought the Town Hall about a month and a half ago. And now because of the double VIP points I've also bought the Pet Shop. Also with TLG phasing out Monster Fighters, I bought the Haunted House at the same time. (Who knows when that will retire, but I wasn't going to take the chance) Now I only have two Modulars left to buy (next weekend, more double VIP points! ) Once I have all of the current Modulars, I'm going to double up on a couple of them to make them bigger, but if anyone of them retires before I can do that AT LEAST I have one of each already.
  5. The Kmart i have been going to has a drying up clearance section too. I guess I might have just stumbled upon it at the right time. Also this Kmart has NO Lone Ranger OR Movie sets. But they do have almost all of the Hobbit sets.
  6. Look in the clearance isle. Also I found the Creator House on the top shelf in the LEGO isle even though it was clearance.
  7. New Pirate ship, maybe a new pirate line... I WILL BUY THEM ALL !!!!
  8. At full price I didn't even look twice at the pirate ship, but for $63.00 (at 30% clearance) I bought it so I could use it to build a real pirate ship. Now with it at 50% off If I see another one I buy it
  9. LOTR Pirate Ship and The Goblin King Battle for 30% off already clearance prices and now LOTR Battle At The Black Gate for 50% already clearance prices!!! Find your nearest Kmart NOW!!!
  10. Kmart upped the percent off to 50%
  11. It's true. I just got the Creator Family House for $31.50 and Lord Of The Rings Battle At The Black Gate for $27.00 I'm pretty happy! Time to find some more Kmarts!
  12. Going back this weekend for more double point goodness!!
  13. So it went from 30% to 50%? Looks like I'm hitting up the Mart tomorrow morning
  14. Just from the last two posts I'm kicking myself for not taking a couple minutes to build 3 of them...
  15. So last time I was at the LEGO store I noticed the build a Minifig display. 3 for $9.99. I just glanced for a second (was on another mission, PAB) but it looked like you can make some interesting Minifigs. I might have to take the time next time I go. For a little over $3.00 per Minifig, it doesn't seem too bad a way to go. Has anyone here built any cool Minifigs this way?
  16. I LOVE how this turned out! I'm going to be doing the same with my GE, But I'm going to add another floor. Did you use all of the pieces from the second GE, or did you have some leftovers?
  17. Oh, yes, we NEED more pictures!
  18. The PAB wall I went to today didn't look like that
  19. It looks REALLY good this big!
  20. What are you asking per minifig?
  21. Today, double VIP points, The Monster Fighters Haunted House, The Pet Shop and a PAB large cup
  22. My local Kmart has The Hobbit Goblin King Battle, TLOTR Pirate Ship and City Fire Station for $63.00 each. Plus assorted smaller sets on clearance too.
  23. Thanks for the link! I look at sets, as most of you most likely do, as 1: it's awesome on its own and 2: I can't live without those parts! But the funny thing about this set is that it doesn't fall under either of those. But It does seem like an ok place to start for modding or MOCing. And for $63.00, I'll probabley kick myself later for NOT getting it. Plus garage doors!
  24. So, there are no reviews for it on here, but my town needs a Fire Station. To me, it's not that great, but it's looks like a decent place to start. They are on clearance at my local Kmart for $63.00 So I guess I'm just asking why shouldn't I buy it?
