LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

I like that some of the new sets come with minifig stands, as well as a larger one for the best figs. So far it looks like Leia, Shock Trooper and the Duros Rebel have the special stand -

I am also an owner of 7666 and 7749 but i will not be getting this set. I think it looks odd, with the tan and dark tan ground, and the turret is a big step back -
Selling my Death Star 10188. I didnt have much space for it and wanted to buy new sets so i sold it . Hopefully the new one will be more of a playset display like 10188 as opposed to something like 10143. I'm not letting it slip past me this time

I'm loving your builds! They look amazing and could totally be a lego set - are you planning on building them?

I can barely get away from the hype here in aus. All over Sydney there are posters, ads, displays everywhere you look. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the highest grossing films of all time -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
WarSquirrel replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The 2016 wave will be coming between January - February next year although some of the sets have already been released in some countries! -
Neat review! I just wish that the Stormtroopers weren't battle scarred but other than that it looks like a great set. The shock trooper looks amazing and I'll be picking up multiples for that and an imperial crew is always welcome to fill up the Star Destroyer

Nice! The shield generator looks great!

After taking a break from lego for a few months to build a PC I came back for TFA. I recently bought 75099 Rey's Speeder and have 75103 First Order Transporter on the way - I can't wait

The dark and washed out colours seem to be very apparent in the SDCC trailer - It is literally black And very very very dark grey. Batman is in the shadows so much that all you see is a black silhouette and white eyes.

DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
WarSquirrel replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in LEGO Licensed
I would recommend getting Brainiac Attack, I have it and I must say that it is an amazing build. The figures are great! If you could get another set, Green Lantern Vs Sinestro is the way to go. It is a fun set with great minifigures and a great build. The features are AWESOME and the set has useful pieces for MOCs. -

A mix of Arkham Asylum Breakout, Hydra Fortress Smash and Vampyre Castle could make a really big hybrid Arkham Asylum -

I would like to get the Justice League Vs Bizarro League too and searched on eBay - Some are over $100! Anyway I think I might buy it from amazon as some of you said -
DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
WarSquirrel replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think these are great ideas, but I am not so sure whether Lego would release a huge set of an obscure location such as Belle Revve. Maybe a small set with one squad member, Batman, Superman and a Bat-Vehicle, another big set such as the Gotham City Police Station with another few squad members, Commissioner Gordon, Police Officer(Female) ,Hawkgirl and (You guessed it) Batman -
Thanks , I might go with that plus gold arms Thanks for your help, I think I will use this

[MOC] WIP modifying LEGO 75095 UCS TIE fighter
WarSquirrel replied to sparkart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow! Great job! The tie looks amazing and you have captured it perfectly. I would love to see more figures in this scale too -
I think the cannon in 75020 - Jabbas Sail Barge is absolutely ridiculous and could have been replaced by a small room or cell

Does anyone have any ideas for the DCCU Aquaman in flesh colour - I am trying to make the DCCU justice league. So far I am using New 52 Batman, Man Of Steel Superman and a mix of both of the Wonder Woman minifigures.
