    Fantastic! Only thing i would do different is make the engine nozzles a little bigger as they seem too thin in comparison to the ship, otherwise stunning!

    Logic would assume it is a remake of the Falcon as it does appear to be prominent in the new film. Either that or its something we havent seen yet (assuming JJ is going to pull a massive reveal hopefully) My money would be on either Falcon, new Star Destroyer or the new AT-AT but damn that would have to be big!

    Going off memory as i cant find the pic of the full box anymore but i think it was just the perspective of the ship, the bottom of the canopy looked square unless you meant the slope from the front to the top with four studs? in which case i agree. Its still better than that blasted canopy we've had for 16 years though! :D

    No its not just you, the feet look tiny and the neck is too thin, but thats not Mink66's fault, he'd have to mod the entire model to get it in proportion. What he has done is excellent, really impressed :)

    There is definitely some Ralph McQuarrie love in the new X-wing. I love the set but i really need that new canopy in my life, i dread to think how much that part will be on bricklink come september

    Ok as promised, LDD file, have at it guys :) MOD 10030 @took9 - Thats great, did you move the side plates out one stud to fit it or kinda force it in the center?

    Thanks for the comments guys :) @Schneeds - Thats excellent, i might steal a few ideas from that if thats ok? @H_Solo - Will post up the LDD file tomorrow for anyone who wants it, just not near my comp at the moment :) Also working on some simple mechanism so the magnets arent needed, will update when i have it working.

    Ok so im in the process of bricklinking the 10030 Star Destroyer but wanted to show the mods im planning on doing. As awesome as the original is i was always a bit disappointed in some of the details and greebling, anyway, enough talking and on to the pics. Hopefully the touch ups are noticeable but not enough to be in your face, all the greebling was redone, front of bridge reshaped, entire engine area redone and a few things changed and added. **LDD file in post #20**
