I know there hasn't been many updates for a while but the time has come for some official news, let this be the first of many. We had originally planned the date for the event to be Friday 26th May - Sunday 28th, but as I said this was not confirmed. Unfortunately this weekend is fully booked at Windsor :/, so after talks with them we have come up with a new date. So the date for the Eurobricks Event 2006 will be... Friday 28th April - 30th I am sorry if this causes any problems for anybody, especially those who signed up in this thread expecting the other date. But hopfeully this one will work out. Hopefully now that we have the date organised we can start to work on the rest of the event, so expect updates from now on. I have copied the list from the other topic so please can anyone who was interested before confirm that they can make the new date, and if anyone else is interested now we know the official date, feel free to sign up! Rare LEGO Limited Edition Pirate Model #4260546
jonfett replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I believe that this is ImperialJohn's gallery.. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1314709 There are plenty of pictures of the Billund shop there as well. Jon. -
Nice to see you back again Sarg! Don't worry, I won't tell the guys about that secret government testing scheme you were involved in these last few months! ;) Jon.

I like those Xpod prices! Will definately be getting those. I am a little disapointed with the SW prices, a little more expensive than I too had hoped for. Looking at the other sets price-wise it looks rather good, I may get the cheaper exo-force set and maybe the Ambulance. Thanks for the news Sam ;) Jon.

My mum passionately supports fair trade so she got me one of these - http://www.divinechocolate.com/Templates/products... I plan to get at least one of the Lego city ones in a week or so as well. Jon.

You read book 6 yet? These two characters begin to become important then! ;) Jon. -
New Smilies - Made by our Member Cyclonis
jonfett replied to ApophisV's topic in Forum Information and Help
Nice work Cyclonis! Together Apo's and your smilies look great! *knight3* *voldemort* :-D Jon. -
Great work Languages! The way you used the grey hinged plates to make it round is excellent! I can't wait to see us admins in action in it! ;) Jon.

I find it relatively easy (and fun! *twisted* ) to remove the arms. It is much easier to do so whilst the hand is still attached itherwise you get a sore thumb, from personal experience! If you move the arm backwards so it is at roughly 90 degrees to the torso you can use the hand a lever and simply pull the arm away from the body.. easy as that! ;) To replace you simply line up the pin of the arm to the hole in the torso and push firmly on the top of the arm, its quite simple really. The only problem is if you are doing this with old torsos, the plastic tends to be a bit brittle so the torso can crack down the side quite easily.. so beware! :P As for legs, I tend not to take these apart as I have trouble pulling them off the pegs on the hip, it is possible however but a little tricky. Jon.

Hmm.. I think that this may have been a teaser, so we would get wound up about it, which means there will be more publicity about it, which means it will be more popular when they make it available for the UK. Either that or their onto us! ;) Jon.

Is this true?? Well, check out http://shop.lego.com and if scroll down to the bottom of the screen on the left hand side there is.. .. this image (on the UK version anyway) which leads you to a Brickmasters page with details of the magazine. The prices are in US dollars and it mentions a discount to Legoland California so this is obviously still just for the US, but could the fact that it is being displayed in Europe mean that it may shortly be coming here too? Jon.

I'm still recovering from my great day yesterday, may you have all the birthday bliss that I had! ;) Jon.

That's right! The infamous caption contest has returned! ;) Post a clean caption for the below picture, entries are due by 7:00pm GMT on Friday 25th November and then voting will commence between the 6 best entries as picked by our judges. As with the Viking Caption Contest we will host a number of contests and then have a final poll with the winners battling (or dueling! :-D ) for the HP replated title of master Yoda's choice! Have fun! Let the magic begin! ;) Jon.

Thanks a lot for all your kind words guys! :) Unfortunately I did not get any Lego :( but I did get a fair amount of money to buy whatever sets I want!! :-D I also got a couple of DVD's (inc. Episode 3) some clothes and a Manchester United shirt! The best bit was going to see Lee Evans (comedian) in Manchester on Friday with my mates.. and getting very very drunk over the weekend! *wacko* Jon.

Did Windu skin a wookie?! :-D Just kidding mate! Great work once again, I love the facial expression on Maul and the horns look great! Mace's face looks loads better than the Lego version and its nice to see him without a light up saber. Too bad the purple blade doesn't show up too well. Jon.

These are still available and I really would like to get rid of them as I have no use for them. Is anybody interested? They are really useful for storing Lego and should help you to sort your collection! Jon.

When I saw the thumbnails I thought it was a model ship, the sails certainly make it look unlike Lego. I think the body need a bit of work, the deck seems to be a bit untidy as well so this could be a WIP. Jon.

It works fine at Google.com and .co.uk so it is probably worldwide knowledge now! :-D Jon.

Here is a pic of the complete scythe, I chose to do the handle in black as I thought it looked better than all grey. I had to add a blue technic pin to attach the antenna to the round brick. And here are some simple instructions.. This is a fairly simple scythe but it looks good, you just need to hide the blue pin or use a different colour and it will look much better. Hope this is ok for you Kahgarak :) Jon.

I think that Gareths is closer in size to what Lego probably will produce, but I would love to see the size and details of BaronSats. I think that the way R2 has been done looks good and hopefully Lego will make him like this.. Thanks for the link Rivets! :) Jon.

Thanks for the neat review Jay, I think by itself the truck looks great. It is fairly proportioned and seems to be in scale with the fig, which is great for town! Next to the plane it looks a little too big, so maybe the plane is a bit too small, but still looking good. Now you can add some flames to the plane and create a nice airport scene! ;) Jon.

Well, in the film we do see a snake coming out of the skull's mouth so it is half right! It would probably look stupid with Voldermorts skull above his own head, so maybe thats why he did it? Great artwork none-the-less, I wanna see some more! ;) Jon.

Harry Potter 05: What is your favourite Goblet of Fire set?
jonfett replied to Kahgarak's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not anymore! ;) After seeing the film I can say that it is the most accurate as well, so *y* all the way for Graveyard duel! :) Jon. -
Great find Aredhel! :-D That's perfect, definately right! ;) Jon.
