Another great Episode Mattias! I like how you went back in time and made it b&w. I loved that pic with them talking about the monster when he was right beneath them! Classic! Jon.

I split your topic and moved your Bricklink question to another forum. I will close this one as you seem to have gotten an answer to your original question. Jon.

Questions about Bricklink are not too do with the running of Eurobricks, I will split this topic and close your original one as you seem to have an answer to that. In answer to your question, the site is an American run site so prices are in US dollars. When you pay for an order, based on where the seller lives, your total will be converted in the relevant curreny eg, Euro or Pounds.. Your question was a little vague so ask a more detailed one if I haven't covered what you want to know. Jon.

Nice one gylman! Always nice to get a good deal like that, I bet if I scouted eBay more often I could save myself a bit on Lego. But I tend to be lazy and just go for BL! Jon.

We are saying welcome to our new member Tarngold! Jon.

Time for a bit of real LOTR geekiness now.. Tolkien wrote the books around the time after the Russian Revolution. He wanted to show the different nationalities/cultures and classes through his different races. The character Saruman was based on the Russian dictators with the objective of industrialisation, you can see how Saruman builds factories etc.. Then you have the opposing forces of Europe (men/elves/dwarves) who would fight against the enemy. Even Middle-Earth shows this, you can see that the general shape of Middle-Earth is similar in shape to the continents of central Europe and then the vauge outline of the begginnings of Russia. Therefore Tolkien had a point to his incredibly long novel, even if it was so subtle! So my point is, it wasn't 'supposed to be set on our earth a long time ago' it was set not too long ago in fact! *Moving swiftly back on topic after that outburst of geekiness! * I think the overall proportions on the model are slightly out, but nonetheless it is still impressive! Also, I wondered if someone would bring up Ersh's, a brilliant (if slightly crazy) masterpiece which I have druelled over for many hours before! Jon.

I don't post much in the Castle forum (its that Mod guy who leads the places, he scares me !) but I thought this MOC was great! It looks like it could fit right into a CC layout, but it shows much more uniqueness and character than some of the market stalls people make. I love the patterned roof and the change of angle, makes it looks a lot more realistic. The use of the tooth pieces gives it a great frilly look! I can't see much of the interior but from what I can see there is a nice little fire and blacksmiths area, looks great from the pics I saw. And of course, the statues add a bit of class to the stall, making it an overall fantastic MOC! Nice to see you have so many rare pieces, like the brown cape and gold dragon helm! Maybe I ought to visit this forum more often? Great stuff Norro! Jon.

As far as I remember this set was released earlier than all the others in the wave, in some stores at least (not sure if it was the same on S@H). So maybe they decided to stop producing it as it has been at retail for longer than the others already? There are still a few in shops near me but we'll have to see how long the stock lasts for. Oh, and I'll move this to the B/S/T+F forum. Jon.

Wooah! You're right Sarg.. really is creepy once you see it properly. I thought it could have been a b&w image when I first saw it, the guy in the picture didn't seem to strike me as Venom. Maybe I just remember him from the cartoons to be a lot bulkier and bigger than Spidey. Oh well, looks good anyway, I can't wait!! Jon.

Damn right Phes, that's why we don't tend to talk about them! Jon.

I tried all three!! Cyborg Name Decoder Sexy Name Decoder Monster Name Decoder Not bad Great find Cutty! I second Sne's idea of getting t-shirts for the event, we'd look like total geeks walking around Legoland with a t-shirt off the internet with our decoded usernames on! Jon.
