  1. Well, no not really.. as Quidditch is a part of Harry Potter. So Quidditch comes under the Harry Potter license. Plus the fact that Quidditch isn't a real sport! ;) Jon.
  2. We have only got a few weeks left to put this together guys (and gals ;))! So if you haven't yet posted a sig, please do so soon so we can add you to the collage! :) Jon.
  3. I believe its open until Monday 31st, so you have time to enter still. Welcome to Eurobricks Jinzo! It's always nice to see another lively member! ;) Jon.
  4. As we have so many bionicle fans posting here lately I thought it would be interesting to see how old the average fan is. So, do we have many older bionicle users amoungst us or are most of you young fans? Let's see. Please make a post with your age in too, as the results of the poll don't show us who voted what, I just wanted to add that as a visual aid for the results. Thanks for your time! :) Jon.
  5. So it's definately the Toyfair in NY this week, which Sam posted about? Jon.
  6. Well, firstly it only started today. So they have 3 more days to unveal any Lego, plus.. as they always say.. save the best till last! ;) Jon.

You're really getting into this whole Lego thing aren't you! ;) A very nice MOC, you have used basic parts from just the mini sets to great effect and your creation looks really neat! Soon enough you'll be building models like Apo's! ;) I'd love to see what you build next! :) Jon.
  8. Really impressive work Apo! You captured the shape of the ship in the concept art really well. Your SNOT techniques continue to amaze me! You really used it to great effect on the front nose. And once again, made from just the minis.. Darkkazmo must be getting fed up of you entering his contests! ;) Jon.
  9. Don't worry about it Vader, we all stray over to the dark side at some point! ;) Jon.
  10. Easy tiger! ;) Welcome to Eurobricks! :) Nice dramatic entrance there! I can see that you are going to be a lively member of the community, hope you enjoy it here. Jon.
  11. Before you worry, these are not the originals, these are some duplicate ones I made. The reason I am selling them on eBay is to fund my next project, so if you want to help me you can, by bidding for them! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=6007957821 If anyone from EB wins (you must inform me that you are the winner, incase I don't recognise your username) I will ship it to them for free! Anyone else, at least in the UK, has to pay 21p.. so you save yourself a load! ;) Hope you take a look and please bid if you can! :) Jon.
  12. Sorry I haven't commented on these earlier Languages, but I must say they look great! You have used such simple pieces to great effect, the 2x4 plate as a shield in particular. I really must try that idea out (and yes, I read the complaint on CC to great amusement! His idea indeed! ;)) The figs look really great and I can't wait to see what you create next for this Rome project! Jon.
  13. You got that right! Almost 3 months since Keetongu joined and his 'Hello' post is still going! ;) Jon.
  14. Nice work Vader! I really love the face decals you have created, they really have a comic feel to them. Some great figs there, I love Robins hair on the teen titans! Just wondering, what did you use to make this guy? Jon.
  15. That's right, I have 3 storage containers (pictured here) which are perfect for storing Lego. You can see my minifig parts look great in them! ;) There is one large, one medium and one small container, and by comparing them to the Lego inside I think you can work out the sizes. I am asking
  16. Thanks for the quick reply Joe! I finished issue 2 just now, I skipped the Mecha techniques pages but I will definately go back to them. I must say, brilliant stuff! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to get started on issue 1 right now! ;) Jon.
  17. Nice stuff there, I am really enoying it and I have only been reading for about 10 mins. This is the sort of Lego mag AFOL's need, much better than the Lego club mag! ;) I plan to read the rest later and was hoping to download issue 1 as well, but the download won't work (on this page) *wacko* Any help? Great read though, thanks Joe! I am looking forwards to issue 3 already ;) Jon.
  18. ROFL!! Great stuff TT! ;) It is a really sad story, it makes me wanna buy Steve the minifig of Bricklink and lavish him with all sorts of cool Lego stuff.. Jon.
  19. Ah, a post by Brickster never reveals anything! He really is a man of mystery! ;) As I have completely no idea, I'm gonna guess that the country is USA, state: Texas? Let's see how things go from here. Jon.
  20. I'm guessing Hurricane. Glad your back with us Jim, and don't let your life get in the way of your Lego (whatever way round its supposed to be! ;)) Oh, and B+W is a great game , used to play it.. damn me, always turning out evil! :( Jon.
  21. Hmm.. what could this place possibly be?! ;) Nice little army you got there Jay, can't wait to see them in action! Jon.
  22. I'll move this over to 'Your Own Creations', as I assume that there will be some of your MOC's in the folder, when you post the link! ;) Jon.
  23. Well, as you live fairly close (compared to being in NZ anyway) there are less things to stop you coming to the event next year with Apo! ;) Jon.
  24. Date and details will be posted ASAP, I need to contact the guys at Legoland Windsor to see if we can get any special stuff sorted, such as MOC displays etc.. I will let you all know as soon as I can, so don't worry! ;) Jon.
  25. Hey guys (and girls)! I am currently looking for the camera and software which comes in this set 1319 (Spielberg Movie Maker). I am planning on doing some Lego animation and as I have used this software before, I know how it works. The thing is, I don't want to pay $100 for a set with a load of useless crap, when all I need is the camera and software. And, try as I may, I cannot find a single store which sells both the disc and the camera!! >:( EDIT - Ok, so I have now found 4 stores which have both! Stupid me, not searching properly! ;) But I am still looking for any offers as the BL prices are pretty steep! $40 at cheapest, and thats for used gear. So, if anyone has a spare set of these or is willing to sell one to me, please let me know! Thanks! :) Jon.
