  1. John Maus, Ariel Pink, Mac Demarco, and Superstar Star, on shuffle all week so far.
  2. Excalibur, truly an epic. I was most disappointed that no one had recommended it to me earlier, instantly one of my favorites.
  3. Thanks for the very detailed review Oky. Not sold yet, the up side is these guys are loaded with some interesting pieces, can't ever see these guys dominating my desktop however.
  4. Yeah basically this, I just want a good jumping in point. All these suggestions have been helpful and greatly appreciated, thank you to everyone who's chipped in.
  5. Aquaman and Cyborg, because of the minifigs. Besides that I just want to get a reasonable sized roster. I'll keep them in mind, especially since they'd open their respective world's.
  6. Thanks for the words of wisdom, good to here that some of the level packs hit their mark.
  7. Interesting, not anything special but definitely interesting.
  8. I just got around to pre-ordering the Ps4 starter pack, the A-Team fun pack, and all of the LotR fun packs. Are there any consensus picks that I should be on the lookout for?
  9. Just reading through Homer's Odyssey, I've been on a bit of a epic/classic poetry kick as before that I read Beowulf, and Gawain and the Green Knight.
  10. They Live, a thought provoking romp with a b-movie feel from John Carpenter.
  11. I like the unique approach, even at 1x1 m scale it's simultaneously a massive undertaking (by my standards at least) and a challenge to do justice to the levels. I love the differing heights of the buildings and towers to add depth, focusing on those elements instead of the layer after layer of walls was a bold design choice that I think paid off rather nicely.
  12. Great work as always, love questioning the moral dilemma selective revival brings
  13. Wow, awesome representation from some unexpected source material. I'm a big fan of Dan Paladin's art in Behemoth's games and this is pitch perfect.
  14. All of these have their merits, the new scorpion piece being included and Magneto's face stand out to me. Not a huge fan of Spideman making another appearance, but that is to be expected at this point.
  15. Yeah I see it now, I was worried there for a second. Thanks
  16. Looks great, but I'm not up to date on the team, why no Ozil?
  17. I'm thinking Jango or Kili might be perfect, Jango's a little scarred up though and Kili has two good face prints for winter soldier. So Kili probably is best overall.
  18. Nice, I really like the use of leaves and vines to break up the grey. Looks fittingly dilapidated, great looking Hobbit center piece.

  20. Those European prices are to my understanding post-tax, not really apples to apples as American prices are pre-tax. Although American prices are generally lower the reasons why tend to be complex, and I don't see how paying less somehow makes an observation on rising prices less true. Edit: oops mobile mishap
  21. Chvrches, Animal Collective, Grimes, new music everywhere and than Kansas- Leftoverture.
  22. I'm hyped for all of the MCU sets, Crossbone and Winter Soldier especially. Borderline for the SW battlepacks, the rebels look great two aliens and a sweet new helmet, but the new order pack is not ideal. But for some reason my hype level is off the charts for the cheapest BvS set, armored bat is cool but that new supes hair is just about my most anticipated piece ever.
  23. Ex Machina: Really well executed film, one of the best I have seen this year (admittedly that "honor" is not worth much). Even so the A.I. angle they take is played out, and it is the characters, and actors playing them that drive the film rather than any deep philosophical examination. I usually can not stand any homage paid to 2001: A Space Odyssey, as they usually boil down to derivative designs, characters, or nothing more than a cheap reference; and I thought this one got even that right.
