Yes. I do. All the time.

  5. Well about a week ago I realized my post count hadn't gone up in a while, even though I was posting quite a bit in community. So I assumed that maybe there was a limited post count community would contribute to overall total, but today I saw a new member posting there with a 0 post count. Are there any new rules governing community or am I missing something?

  7. Terminator: Genisys, ignoring my love for T1 this movie suffered from a misplaced comedic tone (that misses the mark), poor chemistry between leads, and a major twist revealed prerelease (I tryed to avoid it but the poster in the theater spoiled it) that steals any bite from the climax. Taking into consideration T1 however the casting was poor, and for the most part Alan Taylor's movie fails to realize the themes, tone, and story, that makes the first 2 movies classic. All in all I didn't hate it, just unsurprisingly a missed opportunity.
  8. If I were to guess it seems like the people who are most optimistic about this line aren't hung up on the fact it's not the historic castle we want. I'd much rather have more middle earth sets with a earth toned medieval civilian-centric line coming in a close second, but the hobbit (or 2013 castle for that matter) sets didn't really leave the impression that sales were good enough to justify a big bang line. It's partially preference, but just ignoring visual motif there are some parts incoming that look great in these sets, for my taste. But the farther from castle this gets the better right? So lego can have a more historical and earth toned line that doesn't compete.
  9. If this does truly confirm just "micro" legs will be included, that's pretty unabashedly gimmicky. At least their still technically minifigs and they didn't go full Xalax on us. This doesn't affect my interest in the line, I'll find uses for a hobbit army with brightly colored pants. But seriously most of these guys legs are without printing historically, so I'm a little surprised by the backlash (excluding green goblin).
  10. I'd barely call those lego knock offs, just an inferior hodge podge.

  14. Wow, Basil the Batlord is really Vlad the Impaler, that's awesome. Whether or not he is a vampire is inconsequential to me (as either he is a rather "frighting knight" /vampire, or he adopts the persona to defend his homeland. Both seem equally cool and thought provoking as far as Lego stories go.), but great read thanks Eggsyslav for doing the research.

  16. Yeah, I'm thankful that Lego did any middle earth sets, and five waves were mostly great. But Ghostbusters getting one of the biggest exclusives of all time when Lego seemingly hasn't had the confidence to do a D2C Minas Tirith is mind boggling. I'm planning on being able to sweep up the dimensions packs when they go on a decent sale, and there is hope for more character or level packs. I don't even think another exclusive is out of the question, especially considering the nice run the Simpsons are having in the brick. It's especially nice how vocal fans are being, if there are multiple middle earth ideas projects being considered every review sooner or later a set will pass (hopefully its able to meet expectations).

  19. Firstly, welcome to the historic side of things AlexJ. Well if Kingdoms Joust doesn't excite you I personally loved Helms Deep and that hasn't quite skyrocketed on the secondary market, and I've heard Orthanc is great (but I don't have firsthand experience there). Sadly though if none of this interests you (and you're not trolling) then history might not be for you, best of luck though in your knightly quest.
