    I say buy now if you want them. These sets I think are selling real well. So if you want them don't hang around. Given the modular style with the 2 Hogwarts castle sets so far I can easily see more sets being released that you can connect to (those handy tech pin connections), so I am assuming there will be at least one more wave. I think the micro scale D2C makes sense as a minifig scale is impossible. However if they sell the Hogwarts castle in cut down sections then BINGO. You can have a minfig play set versus a micro display set.

    Yeah I have noticed that the CMF series is not complete in terms of Schools and Uniform torsos. The sets however have them. So you can use the torsos from there with 'tween' legs to make the older kids. Just have to buy all the Harry Potter LEGO they release.....

    Nice. These generic uniforms open a world of possibilities. I am looking forward to getting hold of the sets and the minifg series.

    Bricklink has this image but it is a bit fuzzy. Judging from colour scheme and composition I would say no I don't think so but I am not 100% as the image is not so clear.

    Agreed there isn't much room to manoeuvre there. Maybe that was another point in the favour of these new 'tween' legs.... I have ordered a box, my first. There are too many options for generic uniforms so I could no resist!

    I am fairly sure all short legs are plain/non printed.

    So it looks like 71043 is going to be a micro scale set from what I can see on the internet. I have seen what appears to be micro figures for the set, not confirmed but I have seen them. Plus it does not make sense to have a giant 6000+ piece Hogwarts Castle when you already have two pieces in the Great Hall and Womping Willow sets. It makes more sense to sell minifig scale Hogwarts Castle in seperate sets to breakdown the cost and piece count. I just can't see LEGO bringing out two mining scale sets with a Great Hall or a Hogwarts Castle without a Great Hall. So my money is on 71043 being a micro scale set.

    Has anyone seen the Minecraft new sets actually in the new July-Dec 2018 catalogue? I have seen a PDF https://catalogs.lego.com/BrandCatalog/2hy2018/reemea/enmea/?page=1 but it dors not have the sets in it. They appear to be missing.....

    I agree with the bulk of what you have said however I think the Arena set with 2 new minifigs is noteworthy. Skeleton attack and the Bedrock sets are on the whole a bit bland, like these are just ‘fill in’ ideas until the next wave.

    The Bedrock set? I would like to see some screenshots of that as well. I have seen some fuzzy pics of the Skull Arena and Skeleton Attack but not the Bedrock set. Apparently it is modular and stackable so you can make it represent a surface to bedrock scene.

    My reason for Attack and not Arena is because a video from someone mentioned ‘Attack’ and the box art (from another video) shows an attack not an Arena battle. I could always be wrong.... I will try and link videos.

    Well as I have just 'discovered' this theme and have 2 daughters (who have also forgotten their Friends LEGO in a flash) I am hoping this runs for longer. The sheer amount of great design, great parts and colour and imagination in this theme SHOULD guarantee its longevity for a while. However the marketing around the backstory and Elvendale world has been scattered and fractured. This has not done the theme any favours, for example it has made it hard to explain to my daughters how it all hangs together. I am hoping for another year after this. Two sets in summer is not the best of signs though..... We shall see.

    I don't think we will many Dragons as they were the second season Season 1 was Keys (some Dragon action) Season 2 was Dragon Eggs and Dragons Season 3 was Goblin King, Goblins and Little Sister Sofie Jones (however there was Saphire and Lula in Rosalyn's set ) Season 4 2018 (first half) we are getting Cyclo Dragon Season 4 2018 (second half) is only 2 sets that don't seem to show any dragons big or small. We get a Werewolf. :) However you never know, there is always a chance.

    Just been looking at a couple more screenshots from the Into the Shadow World - LEGO Elves - Teaser of the Noctura's Carriage and the Elvenstar Tree. Both are going to be filled with some nice pieces.

    OK checked the catalogue pictures for the 2HY 2018 Summer sets and saw the 2 next sets 41195 and 41196, blurry pictures but I get the idea. Well I am happy with just 7 new sets for this year because I have sets from 2015, 2016 and 2017 to buy. Love the wolf. Liking these large animal/monster builds. Still can’t find a video but I will survive until June/July. :)
