  1. I only have two IR receivers, so I will probably do some manual functions. I have 7 m motors total. I only have one switch, so I will probably use that one to control another motorized function. Maybe a compressor, so I can control some functions with pneumatics. I am currently working on the cab, which will look like this cab:http://mocpages.com/moc.php/379274 EDIT: Here are some new WIP fotos: Lights on: I own only one set of pf lights, and this looked me the best option for lights. And I have installed a small compressor with one unimog pump:
  2. I decided to build the tow truck. It will have a european style cab.
  3. I am doubting between this one: And a modified version of this one:
  4. Unfortunately I only own 6 of those wheels. But I think that I am going to make a tow truck.
  5. Hello everyone, I have spent last week building a 6-wheeled truck with 4 steered wheels. Other functions are drive and working outriggers. The problem is that I don't know what i should further build. I am doubting between a tow truck and a mobile crane, but other suggestions are welcome. It drives quite fast, because I connected the m motor for driving directly to the differential. It steers slow enough to drive quite precise, but not too slow. Here are some foto's:
  6. Maybe you could make a version of this part:http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=53178 for the small pneumatic cylinders. I only own one small pneumatic cyilinder, but it might be useful for other people.
  7. I would really like to build this one using the unimog wheels: http://www.liebherr.com/AT/en-GB/products_at.wfw/id-3657-0/measure-nonMetric The onliest problem for me is that I don't have enough parts to build one.
  8. Is it possible to motorize the Unimog with M motors, because that's the onliest type of motor that I own.
  9. It looks awesome! Will it be, that when you extend the boom, the hook will stay at the same height?
  10. I personally also really like the 8052 b model. I have motorized it too: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/358416
  11. This is my favorite: http://www.sheepo.es/2012/11/peterbilt-379-cat-c15.html
  12. An RC forumula 1 car with brakes and 2 RC motor to power it.
  13. I don't own the 6L shock absorbers. I will soon try to do Johnny P's idea.
  14. This is the first suspension i ever made, so it will be a challenge to make it steerable. If i will be able to make it steerable, i will probably build a truck around it to test it. Should I make photo instructions?
  15. Here is my design using the unimog ball joints. I don't have balloon tires, but i think that this one might work good with the tires from 9398.
  16. You need very few pieces to build a car. Here one design i did some times ago. There are only two flaws: The battery box is on the side (which makes a bad weight distribution) and the steering isn't very precise.http://mocpages.com/moc.php/360844
  17. I am working on making the tatra suspension with the unimog parts. It will be 26 studs wide inclusive unimog wheels. It is 21 studs wide without wheels.
  18. I think using these two parts may be good for a very solid driven tatra suspension: http://rebrickable.com/parts/92910 and http://rebrickable.com/parts/92911. I will soon try to make a good suspension with them. I only own two of them, so i can only do one axle.
  19. You probably mean the b model. To make it you have to disassemble the crane and the grey bin. Here are the instructions: http://www.lego.com/en-us/technic/products/construction/8110/b
  20. It looks very good, especially the tracks. The suspension system is also very good.
  21. That design look very good. But i think that it will only work when the car isn't to heavy.
  22. @dr_spock Yes, it is 26 pieces per wheel.
  23. I have designed a snowchain for it. Read this for more information. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/360192
