Which castle is the best in your opinion?
Fletcher Floyd replied to Juppy's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I still love 6080 the most. It's big, has many minifigs and a timeless design. -
Another great Moc from you Kumpelkante, I think you'll be doing great in the Contest!
-
Wow, what a huge castle-Moc -really impressive!! I like it a lot, you did a great job here!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Fletcher Floyd replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Same thing here, this will be my first Modular Building. I like the design, it doesn't look as old fashioned as some of the others. Really a cool set! -

What's in store for Castle in 2015?
Fletcher Floyd replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Ooops, sorry for that;-) As I said, I like them both. But regular Lego (Castle) Sets with flesh-Minifighs could bring us a larger variety of Flesh-Faces for kitbashing, so I'd personally appreciate that kind of experiment. -
Great Moc! I only hope, the knight can keep the dragon busy long enough, so the climbing elf can sneak into the fortress and rescue the Lady in chains;-)

What's in store for Castle in 2015?
Fletcher Floyd replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I grew up with yellow Minifigs only too and I like both. If I had the choice between yellow and flesh, I'd choose flesh. I personally think there's nothing cooler than Classic Castle Minifigs with flesh skin. Here is an example: The current castle line is quite okay, but by far not as great as "Kingdoms" or the Classic Lion- vs. Falcon-Knights-Series. A return of the forestmen would be great!! -
Same thing here -I had the chance to get the set for a lower price, but I didn't buy it. The parts weren't interesting enough for me, since I already had most of them. So I just purchased the dwarves seperatly.

LEGO LotR - general discussion
Fletcher Floyd replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh no, that doesn't sound good. But who knows -maybe some of the Sets will make it to a release. Let's just hope the best. -
I don't exactly know, if it really was my first set, but it was definitly my first big one -and till today one of my favourite overall sets: It's the 1986 King's Castle (but whre was the king;-)

Now this is truly a great Moc!! I'd love to see more pics, there are so many details. You should enter the Colossal Castle Contest with your creation!

LEGO LotR - general discussion
Fletcher Floyd replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I think what the others meant was that Lego would probably not release a LotR-Set (no matter if it came from Ideas in the first place) as part of the "ideas"-Productline, but instead put it into the already existing LotR-Line, like Orthanc. Getting the 10.000 Votest on the ideas-Site and making them Lego-Guys think about some new LotR-Sets should be the easiest part:-) I think Ideas is a great way to show the Company that there are still many great Possibilities for LotR -and other themes- and more than enough people that would love to see it happen (and pay for it of course;-) -
A creature in the dark - BabaYagas hutt
Fletcher Floyd replied to Legonardo's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The whole Moc is amazing! Fantastic Roof, great choice of colours and building-techniques! The Witch-Minifig is absolutely great. It's Leia's Hair from Ewok-Village, right? But what face/torso is this? -
Another great Entry for the Contest, Disco! You seem to be quite busy these days:-) wish you all the best for the Contest!

You did a great job with this Balrog, good luck for the Contest!

MOC: Hobbit: Battle at the ruins of Dale
Fletcher Floyd replied to Balbo's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Balbo -
This is cool! Good Idea and nice Castle design. I would never send my soldiers to attack this fortress, that's for sure;-)

I'm still not sure if I should by some of the Sets or not. The Brick Bounty is quite okay, but I don't like the Skull on the sails. The other Sets are fair but not great -but on the other hand I really like some of the bricks and especially some of the Pirate Minifigs.

Lego Game of Thrones -the great houses of westeros
Fletcher Floyd replied to Fletcher Floyd's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Hello Albus & MiloNelsiano, sorry it took me so long, I haven't been online for quite a while -shame on me;-) First of all thank you for your positive feedback! Of course I could post the vid as well in the history forum, as it isn't really a brickfilm in the common way. It's more an animated presentation of a GoT-Kitbash-project, so it might fit in there as well. -

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Fletcher Floyd replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I picked up two Endor-Battlepacks as well -together with the 7965-Milennium-Falcon and two Mini-Clonetanks. Those sets are my first Lego SW-Sets. -
Hello Folks, have fun with the first Trailer of my new Brickfilm-Project. It's a sequel to my Debut "Battle for Callahan" (This was in German, the next part will be in English) You can watch it on youtube: Enjoy!
