BRILLIANT, Great work! -
I didn't think it was you Laz. We had a good gentlemen's agreement when we traded each others plans and I trust that.

So it was my sad realization today that some one with the user name 'Mattheww2203' has just posted a copy of my BR 455 (featured here on my flicker) https://flic.kr/p/p899Wt to Lego IDEAS, This is really disappointing behavior and such has been reported to Lego IDEAS team

Some of the 3d printing sites have a selection of alternative train wheels.

What a fun build!

COaster, I am really enjoying the progress you are making with this, especially as I am a 9 volter and had to create my own switches with Code 250 track. One thing that may be neat, we spend a lot of time creating ties using tile, I am wondering if the ties your making would be better served with out stud on them. Just a thought. Also the colour options are exciting, especially with most modern ties being a grey concrete. anyway keep up the good work Gareth

This is exciting progress, I look forward to seeing the results, have you thought about starting a kick starter for this project?

Thank you all for all your awesome comments. They are engineer ballast hoppers on the back of the class 20. The lighting was awfull on the picture. The sun was shining pretty bright that day through the sky lights. The switches work great. Better than I expected but they do like slightly longer wheel bases.

It's not often that I get the chance to show a bunch of my trains on a layout. My LUG just displayed at Maker Fair KC and whipped together a community short notice display running PF and 9V. I had a jolly good time and got the chance to show a a British Rail Class 20, 43 HST, 73 455 and LNER A4 Pacific . Has any one had problems with the ME rails warping slightly? I have r88's and if you lay the rail upside down on a flat surface you can see a gap in the center where the rail is not flat. We noticed this at our second to last show with some R72's doing the same. Also one of our members also has the same issue with the long straights. I am interested if any one else is experiencing this.

Tha kyou 12V and Zephyr. I will post more pictures of the track and switches once I have finished ballasting everything. I have just started work on a new classic BR steamer in 8 wide that I am pretty excited about
