    Today I bought the cargo truck, the cargo terminal, gorzan`s gorilla striker, the fall scene, 16 series 11 minifigures and the volkswagen promo set.

    This reminds me of a gargoyle or that batman suit that batman uses to fight superman in the batman vs superman comic. The transparent pod pieces as energy blasts from the robot`s hands is a nice touch.

    I dont think license themes will ever become cmf series due to the fact that they are a LICENSE product. Lego will stand to make more money making sets based on licensed theme that cmf`s. For example a lot of people bought the hellicarrier set just to get their hands on the hulk minifigure. If lego had sole it separately then they would not of made as much money had he been in a set. And besides with a cmf of a license theme we will end up with multiples of certain figures. Who wants 20 copies of loki?

    Much cheaper? I thought you have to spend at least $100 to get the set or am I wrong? I dont think you can compare the winter village market with these promo sets because you get a lot more in the market.

    I was thinking about the new star wars movies that will be released when it struck me that we may not see any storm troopers. The prequels had the clones and the original trilogy had the storm troopers. I can only assume that means that we will get a new evil army which means we might be getting a new evil army (empire) lego minifigures when the sets based off the new movie come out.

    Why is the first Christmas promotional set not available at the beginning and only from the 13th. I would of thought it would of been a good idea to have it released together with the Christmas market set at the beginning of the month.

    I think lego is investing too much in different themes. This new theme will suffer because the friends line is very popular.

    Great moc. I like the effects of the snow that you created and the snow on the tree that is hanging from the cliff really makes this moc pop.

    Doesnt the bricks degrade a little in rigidity and strength if you put it in the water at that temperature? I would recommend gluing as a last resort. Remember these are lego bricks and structures can always be strengthened by ingenious used of bricks. For example, the imperial flagship was very weak at the front and i stabilized it by adding some stud pieces.

    With the new blasters I suppose the rebels will get blue studs and the empire red studs to represent the two different coloured lasers.

    Great detailed review but, i have a few questions. Why is the plane not swoosh-able? It looks very solid. I also see that there is a big hollow part in the middle of the wing piece which means that it doesnt block the part of the inside of the place. Does the roof or the middle of the plane come off easily so that you can store cargo there as well?

    I am not sure about the flowers or the dog. I got them as free extras as part of a huge bricklink order I made for the parts for the building.
